Recommended by the International Trumpet Guild Journal, this collection of four familiar Christmas carols (Hark! The Herald Angles Sing; It Came Upon a Midnight Clear; Angels We Have Heard on High; Oh, Come All Ye Faithful), arranged for four B-flat trumpets, adds a festive flair to holiday concerts, church services and seasonal activities. Â These very accessible musical settings for less experienced players each has a four-bar introduction, two contrasting verses and a plagal (Amen) cadence. The audio file is an actual trumpet ensemble performance of the entire work and not a computer playback of the score.
