He lived between 1670 - 1738. I Arranged this piece for a lap harp, added some chords to be performed with the left hand and a few ornaments where introduced. Easy to perform in all kinds of events. So I decided to publish the work. It has a dance like structure and a nostalgic character, it can be played faster or slower and it is easy to learn. The score was written on Finale, the sound file was produced with samplers from Garritan. Thank you very much for taking your time to read this text and to listen to the file. It was included on Joshua Rifkin’s famous 1970 revival recording of Joplin’s music and an orchestration featured on the soundtrack of the movie The Sting in 1973. This arrangement won an Oscar and reached No.3 on the US single charts.  This version has been arranged as a duet for one Trumpet and Clarinet and includes all four sections of the original composition.  Musicians at an intermediate level and above will find this ideal for formal and informal performances. The overall performance time is around five minutes.
