Woodwind Ensemble,Woodwind Quartet Bassoon,Clarinet,Flute,Oboe - Level 3 - Digital Download

SKU: A0.1430484

By The Beatles. By George Harrison, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, and Richard Starkey. Arranged by Ray Thompson. 21st Century,Chamber,Pop. 9 pages. RayThompsonMusic #1011090. Published by RayThompsonMusic (A0.1430484).

Arranged wind quartet

Now and Then is a song by the English rock band the Beatles, released on 2 November 2023. Dubbed the last Beatles song, it appeared on a double A-side single, paired with a new stereo remix of the band's first single, Love Me Do (1962), with the two serving as bookends to the band's history.

Now and Then is a psychedelic soft rock balladthat John Lennon wrote and recorded around 1977 as a solo home demo but left unfinished.

After Lennon's death in 1980, the song was considered as a potential third Beatles reunion single for their 1995–1996 retrospective project The Beatles Anthology, following Free as a Bird and Real Love, both based on two other Lennon demos of the same names.

Instead, it was shelved for nearly three decades, until it was completed by his surviving bandmates Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, using overdubs and guitar tracks by George Harrison (who died in 2001) from the abandoned 1995 sessions.

Arranged here for wind quartet, the oboe takes most of the melody

By The Beatles. By George Harrison, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, and Richard Starkey. Arranged by Erika Skye Andres. Rock. 25 pages. Erika Skye Andres #1013161. Published by Erika Skye Andres (A0.1432736).

“Now and Then” by The Beatles was released on November 2, 2023. John Lennon wrote it and made an unfinished recording of it on a tape recorder in 1977. It remained unfinished for decades due to poor audio quality until audio restoration was finally made possible thanks to new technology with machine learning. It was completed by Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr with previously recorded tracks by George Harrison, making this truly the last Beatles song.

This flute choir arrangement is scored for piccolo, two flutes, alto, bass, and contrabass. If a contrabass flute is not available, bass flute should play its part instead. If the flute choir only has one bass flute, then the contra part should still be played but the bass flute part can be played with a second alto flute (transposed part included) or just on flute.

This arrangement was made a couple of months after the release of “Now and Then” in admiration of such an important group in rock history and hopes to do justice to their final song.

With this sheet music, you can play the SpongeBob Theme on piano, accompany singers, or sing along yourself.

However, the whole melody is included in the piano arrangement - so it sounds great when it’s just played on an instrument, too!

The theme music for the American animated television series SpongeBob SquarePants was composed by Hank Smith Music, consisting of Derek Drymon, Mark Harrison, Stephen Hillenburg and Blaise Smith, and is primarily based on the sea shanty, Blow the Man Down.

Absorbent and yellow and porous is he

If nautical nonsense be something you wish!

By The Beatles. By George Harrison. Arranged by Stewart J Wallace. Children,Contemporary,Folk,New Age,Pop. 11 pages. Stewart J Wallace #934329. Published by Stewart J Wallace (A0.1349569).

This song by George Harrison appears on the 1969 Abbey Road album. At the time, the Beatles were beginning to find the stress of business meetings tiresome, and George Harrison found time away and composed this song in Eric Clapton's garden. He's clearly longing for the weather and the mood of the band to lift. It has unusual time signature changes and harmonies, and it's instantly recognisable and uplifting. In this arrangement the 2 upper voices mostly move a sixth apart and the lower voices just add foundational notes. As well as the full score, there's a vocal score which will be easier for the singers to find their way - watch out for the repeats. The syncopated rhythms need to be precise but also relaxed.

Composed by John Christopher Yount. Arranged by JC Yount and H Fisher. Children,Contemporary,Holiday,Instructional. Score. 3 pages. John Christopher Yount #6070435. Published by John Christopher Yount (A0.979436).

Meet Mister Rumble!  He is the mischievous antagonist rat in the Puddle Jumpin' Songbook Collection.  Mr. Rumble tricks the Puddle Jumpin' children, as well as his sidekicks Fidget, a nervous rabbit who eats carrots to calm herself, and Scratch, an incomprehensibly dumb mole who believes everything he is told, especially by Mr. Rumble.  In this song, with lyrics and melody by JC Yount and spritely accompaniment by Harrison Fisher and JC Yount, Mr. Rumble introduces himself as the one who gobbles up the garden of love.  His theme returns several times in Puddle Jumpin', the first songbook in the series of five in The Puddle Jumpin' Songbook Collection.  In the second songbook, an alphabet songbook, Mr. Rumble hides the alphabet in a junkyard and the children are tasked to find all the letters in this work, also illustrated, The Junkyard Alphabet.  Mr. Rumble has a tough time deceiving the children, an endless frustration for this comical, lively character.  The children always know when Mr. Rumble is coming, as the accompanying bassoon always gives him away!

Composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Arranged by Darrell Goforth. Classical. Score and parts. 46 pages. Darrell Harrison Goforth #5207593. Published by Darrell Harrison Goforth (A0.747425).

The original string quartet is arranged for 4 recorders (SATB). The limited range of the recorder has lead to some interesting voicing. This little piece is always a delight to hear and very enjoyable to play.
I have included all the original repeats and leave it up to the performers to choose which ones to observe.
