SATB chorus divisi & Piano - Grade 3 - Digital Download SKU: IZ.VMW183 Composed by Lorenzo Butler. Score. 10 pages. Imagine Music - Digital #VMW183. Published by Imagine Music - Digital (IZ.VMW183). 6.75 x 10.5 in inches.Tasked with arranging a choral piece for a theory course, I struggled for weeks to find the right piece. Then by an unexpected stroke of luck, I stumbled across this one in a choral book, and was transported back to high school to the first time I had heard it: it was the first time I ever heard one of my best friends sing. Then, as now, I was moved by the lyrics and the easy folk tune melody, and in that instant, I knew. This was the one. From there, the vocal parts seemed to write themselves. I contributed vocals of my own in order to heighten the impact of the cluster chords and to further enhance the song's themes. I hope the music provides as much joy as it did for me writing it and singing it.
