Woodwind Ensemble,Woodwind Quintet Bassoon,Clarinet,Flute,Horn,Oboe - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.912070 By The Beatles. By John Lennon and Paul McCartney. Arranged by Ray Thompson. 20th Century,Broadway,Musical/Show,Pop. 11 pages. RayThompsonMusic #518001. Published by RayThompsonMusic (A0.912070). Arranged standard wind quintet Your Mother Should Know is a song by the English rock band the Beatles from their 1967 EP and LP Magical Mystery Tour. It was written by Paul McCartney and credited to Lennon–McCartney.Titled after a line in the 1961 film A Taste of Honey, its lyrical premise centres on the history of hit songs across generations. McCartney said he wrote it as a plea for generational understanding and respect for a mother's life experience. In the Magical Mystery Tour television film, the song serves as a big production number in the style of a 1930s Hollywood musical. Some commentators view the sequence as cultural satire, as the Beatles are seen dancing and dressed in white evening tails. Your Mother Should Know is in the music hall style, further to McCartney's earlier composition When I'm Sixty-Four.He first offered it as the Beatles' contribution to the Our World satellite broadcast in June 1967, but the band favoured John Lennon's All You Need Is Love for its social significance. The initial sessions for the song took place at Chappell Recording Studios in London towards the end of August. The group were visited there by their manager, Brian Epstein, a visit that marked the last time he joined them in the studio before his death on 27 August.

Easy Piano - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1326582 By The Beatles. By George Harrison, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, and Richard Starkey. Arranged by Frank Pisani. 20th Century,21st Century,Pop,Rock,Singer/Songwriter. Score. 3 pages. Frank Pisani #914729. Published by Frank Pisani (A0.1326582). Solo Piano arrangement for The Beatles’ song Now And Then released as a single in 2023. Written by John Lennon in the 1970s, he created a low-quality demo recording. After his tragic death, the three remaining Beatles further developed the song in the 1990s. But it wasn't until 2023 that the now two surviving Beatles were able to use advanced technology to improve the sound quality, and finally complete the track. This is the final song released as a collaboration of all four Beatles - John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr. This arrangement is in the original key and is perfect for beginner pianists. This arrangement also features lyrics and chord symbols, making it easy to sing along and learn the chord progression. Finger number markings make it easier to know which fingers to use, and how to easily move around the keyboard. You may find it easier to learn how to play this song if you practice both hand separately first before trying to play them together.Arrangement Duration: 4:01This arrangement is appropriate for schools and students.

The final version features additional lyrics by McCartney. Lennon's voice was extracted from the demo using the machine-learning-assisted audio restoration technology commissioned by Peter Jackson for his 2021 documentary The Beatles: Get Back. The song has been released on 2 November 2023 on a double A-side single, paired with a new stereo remix of the band's first single, Love Me Do (1962). Both songs were included on the expanded re-issues of the 1973 compilations 1962–1966 and 1967–1970, released on 10 November 2023. It topped the charts in the United Kingdom, Germany, and Austria, and reached the top ten in Australia, Belgium, Canada, Ireland, the Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United States.Subscribe to my YouTube Channel to stay updated on new releases.

Percussion Duet - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1315778 By The Beatles. By George Harrison, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, and Richard Starkey. Arranged by Marcelo Borba. Multicultural,Patriotic,Pop,Rock,Spiritual,World. Score. 7 pages. Marcelo Borba #904550. Published by Marcelo Borba (A0.1315778). Arrangement for percussion DUET (marimba, vibraphone and others) with chords included. Now and Then's eventful journey to fruition took place over five decades and is the product of conversations and collaborations between the four Beatles that go on to this day. The long mythologised John Lennon demo was first worked on in February 1995 by Paul, George and Ringo as part of The Beatles Anthology project but it remained unfinished, partly because of the impossible technological challenges involved in working with the vocal John had recorded on tape in the 1970s. For years it looked like the song could never be completed. But in 2022 there was a stroke of serendipity. A software system developed by Peter Jackson and his team, used throughout the production of the documentary series Get Back, finally opened the way for the uncoupling of Johnâ??s vocal from his piano part. As a result, the original recording could be brought to life and worked on anew with contributions from all four Beatles. This remarkable story of musical archaeology reflects The Beatlesâ?? endless creative curiosity and shared fascination with technology. It marks the completion of the last recording that John, Paul and George and Ringo will get to make together and celebrates the legacy of the foremost and most influential band in popular music history.

Woodwind Ensemble,Woodwind Quintet Bassoon,Clarinet,Flute,Horn,Oboe - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.554033 By The Beatles. By John Lennon and Paul McCartney. Arranged by Ray Thompson. Contemporary,Pop. 16 pages. RayThompsonMusic #6517961. Published by RayThompsonMusic (A0.554033). The Fool on the Hill is a song by the English rock band the Beatles from their 1967 EP and album Magical Mystery Tour. It was written and sung by Paul McCartney and credited to the Lennon–McCartney partnership. The lyrics describe the titular fool, a solitary figure who is not understood by others, but is actually wise.McCartney said the idea for the song was inspired by the Dutch design collective the Fool, who derived their name from the tarot card of the same name, and possibly by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. The song's segment in the Magical Mystery Tour television film was shot separately from the rest of the film and without the other Beatles' knowledge. Accompanied by a professional cameraman, McCartney filmed the scene near Nice in France. In 1968, Sérgio Mendes & Brasil '66 recorded a cover version of the song that reached the top ten in the US. By the late 1970s, The Fool on the Hill was one of McCartney's most widely recorded ballads. A solo demo and an outtake of the song were included on the Beatles' 1996 compilation album Anthology 2.   Arranged for standard wind quintet, the melody is taken first by the oboe, and then by the flute. Interesting parts for horn, clarinet and bassoon. The mp3 extract is of verse 2

Score. 6 pages. Timothy Stapay #1014928. Published by Timothy Stapay (A0.1434797). Across the Universe is a song that holds a special place in the hearts of many Beatles fans. It was released as part of their final studio album, Let It Be, and holds a deep and profound meaning both lyrically and musically.Lyrically, Across the Universe is a complex and poetic exploration of spirituality, love, and universal connection. John Lennon, the primary songwriter of the song, crafted lyrics that evoke a sense of transcendence and the interconnectedness of all things. The song takes listeners on a journey through beautiful imagery and metaphors, inviting them to contemplate the vastness and wonder of the universe.Words are flowing outLike endless rain into a paper cupThey slither wildly as they slip away across the universePools of sorrow waves of joyAre drifting through my opened mindPossessing and caressing meJai Guru Deva, OmNothing's gonna change my worldNothing's gonna change my worldNothing's gonna change my worldNothing's gonna change my worldImages of broken lightWhich dance before me like a million eyesThey call me on and on across the universeThoughts meander like aRestless wind inside a letter boxThey tumble blindly as they make their way across the universeJai Guru Deva, OmNothing's gonna change my worldNothing's gonna change my worldNothing's gonna change my worldNothing's gonna change my world.
