Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 4 - Digital Download

SKU: A0.951347

By Otis Redding. By Allen Jones, Alvertis Bell, and Otis Redding. Arranged by Stephen Lanza. Contemporary. Octavo. 16 pages. Stephen Lanza #4798577. Published by Stephen Lanza (A0.951347).

This track, originally performed by Otis Redding and arranged in the style of the Black Crowes, is a great opening number for a performance set. This song opens with an earworm rhythm before opening up to big fat chords for the group to wail on over a funk bassline. The bridge would normally have a guitar solo, but can also be used as an open vamp for group introductions. While some bass notes are exceptionally low, they can be brought up an octave.  Song is in SSATBB format with solo.
