These folk song arrangements are written in the Welsh language. The vocal range is from Middle C to F on the top line of the staff. They are suitable for mezzo soprano and could also be sung by tenor voice an octave lower. They are among some of the most popular folk songs of Wales and sure to be well received at a vocal recital. They would also make excellent encore pieces. For copyright reasons, English translations are not provided, although some are to be found on various web pages.

1. Y Ddau Farch (The Two Mares)
The song tells the story of two horses. The older one tells the younger, “In my day I was as good a horse as you�. But when I became too old to work, I was sent away to the mountains. She vows never to return to her cruel owners. This is an example of a macaronic song in which the lyrics use more than one language. 

2. Si Hei Lwli, ’Mabi (Sleep, my Lovely Baby)
In this pentatonic lullaby, a mother tells her child that their ship is moving away, the captain is on board, the eastern wind is blowing and the seagull is on its nest.

3. Canu Cwnsela (Wassail Song)
The singers ask permission to come in and sing for their dinner. But they seem to have chosen the wrong house because the reply is: “I have no dinner or money to spend, to give you a welcome tonight.� The melody is in the Dorian Mode. 
4. Robin Ddiog (Lazy Robin)
The song, also in the Aeolian mode is about a robin whose little house is always tidy. “Open the door a little bit, so that I can see the sea and the waves� he asks. When the door is opened, the breeze sweeps away all the leaves from the floor.
5. Migildi Magildi
“When the smithy’s door is open, we can see the blacksmith working.� The song describes the sights and sounds of the blacksmith’s workshop.You can hear all the songs in the audio demo, though they are played by an oboe rather than sung.

The Hunt for Red October is a 1990 American submarine spy thriller film starring Sean Connery, Alec Baldwin, Scott Glenn, James Earl Jones, and Sam Neill. The film is an adaptation of Tom Clancy's 1984 bestselling novel of the same name. It is the first instalment of the film series with the protagonist Jack Ryan. The story is set during the late Cold War era and involves a rogue Soviet naval captain who wishes to defect to the United States with his officers and the Soviet Navy's newest and most advanced ballistic missile submarine, a fictional improvement on the Soviet Typhoon-class submarine. A CIA analyst correctly deduces his motive and must prove his theory to the U.S. Navy before a violent confrontation between the Soviet and the American Navy spirals out of control. This arrangement is a must for all Bands that want to add excitement to their programmes.

William Ward-Higgs  1866 –  1936 was an English lawyer and songwriter who wrote Sussex by the Sea: The unofficial anthem of that county, a regimental march of the Royal Sussex Regiment, and the official song of Brighton & Hove Albion F.C.

From 1902–08, he lived at Hollywood House in Bersted, West Sussex and wrote Sussex by the Sea when his favourite sister-in-law became engaged to Captain Waithman of the 2nd Battalion, Royal Sussex Regiment.  

This version for Orchestra (2121 2231 Perc Timp Str)  is in the lower key of Bb(which corresponds to the key used in Military Band performances.  The vocal edition in the low key ID 1529973 corresponds if this is to be sung.

From Captain America the theme is peppered throughout the MCU and is one of the most recognizable themes. This trombone arrangement is very playable with nothing in the extreme ranges, and the melody bounces around for a really fun experience for all of the parts.

This arrangement of Captain Picard's Air from the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode The Inner Light is fitted specifically to the range of a 26-string lever harp, like Harpsicle Harps or Dusty String Ravenna. While there are some complex rhythms and silences to count through, the notation itself is relatively simple -- intended to reflect the sparse, lonely/hopeful nature of the original song, which was played on a solo pennywhistle.

It is written in the key of G Major (one sharp), which means it can be played on Harpsicle models that are not fully levered (e.g. Sharpsicles, as well as Fullsicles), and there are no lever changes or accidentals. If the harmonics are omitted, and the dotted rhythms counted carefully, this piece could be accessible to a late-beginner, at least from a technique standpoint. Beginner harpists who have little or no prior background in reading sheet music might struggle with the leger lines, though.
