Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1273512 Composed by Kevin G. Pace (ASCAP), Mary Ann W. Snowball. Christian,Easter,Praise & Worship,Religious,Sacred. Octavo. 13 pages. Kevin G. Pace #865651. Published by Kevin G. Pace (A0.1273512). A stunningly beautiful choral composition with music by Kevin G. Pace and text by Mary Ann W. Snowball.  The subject of this piece is the joy felt at Christ's resurrection following the darkness of his crucifixion.Text:Though Jesus raised the dead in his mortal life,He would die a shameful death caused by angered strife. On that fateful day when clouds covered sun,Jesus’ enemies rejoiced, thinking they had won. This Friday, dark like stain, never came again.Jesus Christ was in the tomb, killed by spiteful men.Soon a miracle honored all mankind:Jesus burst the bonds of death, bringing life past time.Christ’s resurrection claims all will live once more. His gift renders unity for each soul restored. This is Christ’s pure love giv’n on Sunday morn. Now, throughout eternity, new life will be born.Hereafter we will praise Jesus Christ, our Lord,Thanking Him for giving us life forevermore. With those gone in death, we will reunite.Sunday’s joy will come to all filled with heaven’s light. We will be with those we love all because of One.Sunday’s joy will ever come; Sunday’s joy will come!

Instrumental Solo,Organ - Digital Download SKU: A0.1402521 Composed by Chris Kovarik. 21st Century,Classical,Praise & Worship,Sacred. Individual part. 13 pages. Chris Kovarik #985742. Published by Chris Kovarik (A0.1402521). Prelude and fugue on Morning Song (composed 2019, duration ca. 6’ 30â€) is an expansive, if formally straight-forward prelude and fugue. The text ‘O holy city, seen of John,’ is commonly associated with this tune. The text contrasts the grim realities of early 20th Century cities with the idyllic Holy City, described by John in the Book of Revelation. The darkness of this vision is well-captured by the minor mode and relentless 4/4 rhythm of the original tune. These features are amplified in this prelude and fugue, particularly the inherently chromatic nature of the minor mode. This is an unrelentingly dark work that builds to an immense climax.Technical note: this is a demanding work that requires superior technical ability.

Brass Ensemble - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.757686 Composed by Franz Joseph Haydn. Arranged by James Bicigo. Classical,Concert,Graduation,Standards,Wedding. Score and parts. 25 pages. Polar Publications #3510137. Published by Polar Publications (A0.757686). Franz Joseph Haydn composed these trios for Prince Esterhazy who played the baryon. The trumpet part is kept to the middle range, so that the timbre works with the horn, but the darkness of the original scoring still comes through. This is music by one of the all time great composers of western classical music, that works beautifully for modern brass instruments. The three short dance movements are charming and work well for any concert or recital.

Choral Choir (TTBB) - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1196607 Composed by John Allison. A Cappella,Contemporary,Contest,Festival. Octavo. 8 pages. John Allison #795770. Published by John Allison (A0.1196607). This is an a capella setting for six-part male voice choir (TTBarBarBB) of a C19th poem that remains remarkably relevant to any contemporary struggle against injustice. The poem was a favourite of Nelson Mandela's during his 27 years of imprisonment. The piece opens with a haunting evocation of the darkness and cruelty of unjust incarceration; a rhythmic middle section portrays the prisoner's stubborn refusal to lose hope and human dignity, whatever obstacles and punishments must be overcome. The final, maestoso section is a rousing hymn, a joyful celebration of determination to remain true to one's beliefs and ideals, and pride in being the master of one's own fate.Audiences will appreciate the variety of moods and tempos within the piece; ending on a huge emotional high makes it the perfect number to end a performance. Male voice choirs will relish the challenge and the opportunity to demonstrate their control of dynamics, rhythmic ensemble singing and a full range of timbres from ghostly to triumphant.
