Needing a short break, I sat down under a grapefruit tree and thought what a great title that would be. The general structure of the piece and hints of the melodies came to me very quickly. The form is (roughly) A-B-C-B-A where the A theme is intended to represent a general feeling of tranquility, the B theme the sounds of nature (bird calls) and the C theme the warm gentle breezes that were flowing that day.
