Piano (4 hands) - easy to intermediate - Digital Download SKU: S9.Q22682 Arranged by Christian Gottlob Neefe. Composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Arranged by Christian Gottlob Neefe. This edition: Sheet music. The magic flute - piano - viennese classicism. 6 pezzi dal Flauto Magico di Mozart in arrangiamento facilitato dall'insegnante di Beethoven, C.G.Neefe: tre nomi con i quali entriamo nel pieno classicismo viennese. Downloadable. Schott Music - Digital #Q22682. Published by Schott Music - Digital (S9.Q22682). 6 well-known themes from Mozart's 'Magic Flute', in easy arrangements by Beethoven's teacher C.G. Neefe - with these three names, we are right in the middle of Viennese Classicism. The authentic arrangements characteristic of the time deal with the themes 'Der Vogelfänger bin ich ja', 'Bei Männern, welche Liebe fühlen', 'Soll ich dich Teurer nicht mehr sehen?', 'Das klinget so herrlich', 'Ein Mädchen oder Weibchen', 'Klinget, Glöckchen, klinget'. Neefe became court organist of the Archbishop of Cologne in 1782. Assigned to him as a 'vicar' was the young Beethoven whom Neefe taught piano playing and composition until the beginning of 1784. Neefe recognized the extraordinary talent of Beethoven and was the first to compare him to Mozart.

Music Innovators Workshop #4355289. Published by Music Innovators Workshop (A0.984684). This is the fifth collection in a group of 5 collections of hymns, gospel songs and Christmas carols that, when taken together, form a wonderful Hymnal containing many of the greatest Christian songs of the last several hundred years. It took me about a year to gather them and arrange them into the form that they have now taken. I'll have to admit, I have chosen my favorites to include in this collection. What a blessed year that was! I have coded the titles so that you will be able to find them on the website. In the titles, RC stands for Repertoire Collection; H1 stands for the first collection in the group, followed by the rest of them: H2 H3, etc. Here are the titles:

Small Ensemble Alto Recorder,Baritone Recorder,Flute,Soprano Recorder,Tenor Recorder - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.742374 Composed by Traditional. Arranged by Javier Martínez Maya. Children,Christmas,Romantic Period. Score and parts. 3 pages. Arte Nova Music Lab #2930385. Published by Arte Nova Music Lab (A0.742374). The First Noel (also written The First Noël and The First Nowell) is a traditional classical English Christmas carol, most likely from the early modern period, although possibly earlier.[2][3] Noel is an Early Modern English synonym of Christmas.[4]In its current form, it is of Cornish origin, and it was first published in Carols Ancient and Modern (1823) and Gilbert and Sandys Carols (1833), both of which were edited by William Sandys and arranged, edited and with extra lyrics written by Davies Gilbert for Hymns and Carols of God. Today, it is usually performed in a four-part hymn arrangement by the English composer John Stainer, first published in hisCarols, New and Old in 1871.[2] Variations of its theme are included in Victor Hely-Hutchinson's Carol Symphony. The melody is unusual among English folk melodies in that it consists of one musical phrase repeated twice, followed by a refrain which is a variation on that phrase. All three phrases end on the third of the scale. It is thought to be a version of an earlier melody sung in a church gallery setting; a conjectural reconstruction of this earlier version can be found in the New Oxford Book of Carols.[5]The Annunciation to the shepherds and the Adoration of the shepherds are episodes in the Nativity of Jesus described in the second chapter of the Gospel of Luke (Luke 2). The Star of Bethlehem appears in the story of the Magi (the Wise Men) in the Gospel of Matthew; it does not appear in the story of the shepherds. Percussion Ensemble - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.730494 Composed by James Nathaniel Holland. Contemporary,Musical/Show. Score and parts. 326 pages. James Nathaniel Holland #4800780. Not suitable for audiences or performers under the age of 18.  INDIVIDUAL INSTRUMENT PARTS 2 (Strings, Harp, Timpani and Percussion). Piano Score, Full Orchestral Score, Individual Parts (Part 1) Sold Separately. American composer, James Nathaniel Holland, brings a ballet adapted from the first century Roman novel by Gaius Petronius (cir. 50 A.D.) to the stage. An entertaining ballet for adults (not suitable for general audiences under the age of 18), celebrating the male ballet dancer's physique and a laugh at our own human sexuality. The comedy is a romp of three gay protagonists and their adventures and misadventure in ancient Rome and their characters; an ex-gladiator, Enclopius, his young lover, Giton, and an upper class snob, Ascyltos. It should also be said that this ballet is not pure gratuitous vulgarity, there is a interweaving story containing a deeper message of real human relationships, the satire of ancient Roman archetypes, and a humorous glimpse into ancient Roman life that still rings true even 2,000 plus years later. Regardless of the subject matter, Holland's original music is fantastic tapestry of counterpoint, set in a sort of atonal-ism and heavy percussion, evoking a period of history no longer available to us. Although not all cues and counterpoint is contained here, this piano score is extremely useful for either a performance with 2 pianos and percussion and a dance company, a director's/choreographer's score, or a concise conductor's score, or rehearsal score. Brass Quintet - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1489486 Composed by Dr. Daniel N. Thrower. Chamber,Classical,Contest,Festival,Instructional. 45 pages. Https://gildedmusicpress.com/ #1066349. Published by https://gildedmusicpress.com/ (A0.1489486). This collection of short compositions for brass quintet was conceived specifically to supplement a dearth of appropriate and artistic original compositions for the young aspiring brass quintet.  These pieces are most fitting for a good high school quintet or a beginning college ensemble that wants a conquerable challenge.  With a variety of keys, styles, and tempos, they lend themselves well for deep work on the core ensemble skills of rhythmic accuracy, intonation, and dynamic balance.  These brief works are also quite enjoyable for the professional quintet to perform for ever-popular school shows, or simply to read as a warmup with the focus of improving ensemble skills.  Performance time for all five pieces is approximately five minutes.“Blackhawk” (duration 0:45) was originally composed in D-sharp minor as a melody to be used in Comprehensive Trumpet Skills, Book 9: Sightreading and Transposition (p. 39).  The quintet version is in concert D minor for more manageable execution.  This brisk four-four work is perhaps the most difficult in the collection, with demands of multiple tonguing for all the instruments as well as fairly advanced intervallic jumps.  “Lamb of God” (duration 1:00) is one of many hymn tunes originally composed by Dr. Thrower for use in Comprehensive Trumpet Skills, Book 7: Ensemble Skills (p. 54), intended to be used to tune unisons and octaves.  As a tuning study it was published in the key of F major for B-flat trumpet, or concert E-flat major.  The quintet version retained the original key of concert E-flat.  The reverently subdued four-four tempo makes this the easiest piece in the collection, technically, though the three core ensemble skills listed in the introductory paragraph (rhythm, intonation, and balance) must still be extensively addressed.  The horn part is perhaps the most demanding in “Lamb of God,” with arpeggiated discant lines toward the end.“Summer Solstice” (duration 1:10) was started on June 21, 2023, which was the summer solstice.  It is a bright, cheerful piece in concert F major with a lot of interest in all the parts.  One source of the title’s inspiration came from my family’s new situation living in Tokyo, Japan, where the dawn sky brightens around 4:00 AM on the longest days of the year, which obviously coincide with the summer solstice.  The 70-second piece was completed four days after conception while the long days started at their earliest.“Triumph: Children’s March” (duration 1:00) was the catalyst for this collection.  It started as a cute little brass quintet piece in the key of concert B-flat major, to be performed for children, such as for school concerts.  The cut-time tempo is very brisk for a march, but animated little legs (or a more manageable audience activity of clapping hands) can easily handle the task.  Although the first trumpet part ends up on a high C, there is an alternate note for a more comfortable ending.“Waltzing Puma” (duration 0:30) is an evocative title for an evocative piece.  Like “Blackhawk,” this melody was composed as a melody for Comprehensive Trumpet Skills, Book 9: Sightreading and Transposition (p. 36).  The melodies in that series took on titles of military aircraft, and this one was the helicopter “Puma.”  Since this tune is in a fast three-four, it became the “Waltzing Puma.”  The quintet version retains the original key of concert F minor.

Piano Solo - Digital Download SKU: A0.596533 Composed by Juan María Solare. 20th Century,Contemporary,Instructional. Score. 16 pages. Juan Maria Solare #3691243. Published by Juan Maria Solare (A0.596533). 1 - Peaceful Moment (3:30) 2 - Tender Moment (2:00) 3 - Placid Moment (3:00) 4 - Resonant Moment (2:45) 5 - Suspended Moment (4:15)   Total estimated duration: 15:30   These simple moments were composed in Bremen, Germany, between 13 and 19 September 2018.   The structure of the whole cycle of five pieces is somehow symmetric, since the pieces number 2 and 4 are similar in character, tempo and ryhthmic pattern. Also, the central piece is the most different of all others. The fifth piece, however, doesn't recall the first one (except that both share the same speed), but rather opens the cycle and points out to somewhere else.   You can also find a certain system in the keys: the tonal centres are respectively Db, D, F#, B, A. If you order these pitches wisely, you get a usual chord: B minor 7th with 9th (B, D, F, A, C#). Does this detail make the music better? Certainly, since the composer is a fetichist. Style/genre: Neoclassical, minimal. Keywords: melancholic, peaceful, tranquil, sad, consolation. These Simple Moments have been recorded by the composer and is on Spotify (etc.).SPOTIFY: https://open.spotify.com/album/1ZJWsNMTTI18osbOQUGWWlTIDAL: https://tidal.com/album/102876084DEEZER: https://www.deezer.com/album/85135272Tender Moment:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UBY4N7ZpiLo

Choral Choir,Choral (SATB) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1376149 Composed by Phil Beaman. Christian,Classical,Sacred,Standards. 11 pages. Phil Beaman #960700. Published by Phil Beaman (A0.1376149). The Heavens Are Telling is a very accessible classic SATB anthem for choir and organ.  I took two lines of music and lyrics from Haydn's 1797 oratorio The Creation and made that my chorus.  I then wrote verses using lyrics from other parts of The Creation and then wrote new music for the verses to sound like a continuation of Haydn's work.  The structure is through composed but with Ch/Vs/Ch/Vs/Ch/Ch with the final chorus having the lines reversed.  The piece makes a stately declaration of the wonders of God's creation of the heavens.  11 pages; 1:50 minutesThe range for each part is only 1 octave.Be the first choir to record this anthem and send me the link and I will post it.    plbeaman@gmail.com      Temporarily I have attached a recording of the vocal solo version, which is in another key, so you can get the text and main melody; which is then followed by a MIDI version of organ and 'aahs', to give you an idea of the SATB version.

Full Orchestra - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.869295 Composed by Thomas Oboe Lee. 20th Century,Baroque,Classical,Contemporary,Romantic Period. Score and parts. 149 pages. Thomas Oboe Lee #431379. Published by Thomas Oboe Lee (A0.869295). Instrumentation: 3222-4231-timp-2perc-hp-chorus-strings Program note:It has been a wonderful two years of thinking, learning and working on my Continental Harmony Project with the Bangor Symphony Orchestra. It is a rare occasion that a composer in the 21st century would receive a commission to write a musical work of such scale: a 40-minute piece for symphony orchestra, 200-plus chorus and a ballet company.   At the Bangor Public Library I found some wonderful evocative 19th century texts for the chorus about the city of Bangor and its environs: the Penobscot River, Mt. Ktaadn, the logging industry, the native American culture, etc.   At times I felt overwhelmed, but most of the times I was exuberant and quite inspired by the music that came forth in the process.   The premiere is less than a month away, and I am looking forward to it. Susan Jonason, Executive Director of the Bangor Symphony, has made the occasion a very public one: a free concert on a Saturday evening! I hope the audience will go home humming the tunes from the work as they walk into the crisp, cool Bangor night.Formally the work is in five movements. The first, third and fifth movements are choral, and the two in between are orchestral.   In the premiere, the Robinson Ballet will dance in the orchestral movements.  The first movement is about the Penobscot River from winter to spring. The melting of the ice is a harbinger of things to come: warmer weather, for instance; but it has also contributed to a lot of flooding in the city of Bangor and its surroundings. The second movement is a waltz, a grand 19th century ballroom waltz for the ladies of the rich lumber barons. They come to the ball showing off their latest hats and gowns from London, Paris and Milan. The third movement is about the woods and the people who work in them. Thoreau’s text about Mt. Ktaadn is full of awesome thoughts about how nature is beautiful, yet unkind to man.   It is followed by a J.G. Whittier lyric entitled The Logger’s Boast. The original song had twenty stanzas to it. I whittled it down to five. I don’t know what the original song sounded like, so I made up my own version of a lumberjack’s drinking song. The fourth movement is a wild, drunken polka. After a long week of working in the woods the lumbermen come back to the city and spend all their earnings on booze, women and gambling. And they dance the night away …The last movement begins with a funeral march for Joe Attien, a native American who was Thoreau’s guide when he came up here in the 1900’s. The work ends with a rousing march, a centennial hymn to the city of Bangor.   God bless our city Bangor, now! On this its birthday morn …NB: The two ballet movements, II. La Valse and IV. Drunken Polka, are optional.

Piano Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1076950 Composed by Sergey Beltiukov. Classical,Contemporary. Score. 26 pages. BFG Publishing LLP #681075. Published by BFG Publishing LLP (A0.1076950). The piano suite «Fairytales for Mathilde» was written in 2004 and is based on the themes of the fairytales by the Danish writer Hans Christian Andersen (1805-1875). The suite is dedicated to Mathilde Hoogland on her birthday. It was presented for the first time on November 2004 in the Concert Hall «Mosterdzaadje» (The Netherlands) by Olga Beltiukova. It was also performed at the «E. Alterman International Competition for Young Pianists» (October 2005, Minsk, Belarus). Each of the 5 pieces refers to the original title and its unique character. Melodic freshness, lightness and elegance sparkle through. Technically speaking they are rather comfortable to play; the musical material is transparent in most cases, sometimes calling for a prevailing “glassy†resonance in the high register, which is very typical for the composer. Elizabeth Mikhadyuk decorates the music scores beautifully, with an artistry based on uncommon musical and emotional intelligence.

Published by John Burkett (A0.1376555). My Prelude on the hymn tune Terra Beata (This Is My Father's World) is intended for church pianists looking for interesting arrangements of hymns familiar to their congregations.  It is one of two settings for piano of  Terra Beata that I have written.  In this setting there are two statements of the melody.  The first places the melody in the soprano register with a repeated-note pattern serving as the accompaniment in the left hand.  The second places the melody in the bass register moving at half the previous speed and accompanied by a downward moving arpeggiation pattern played by the right hand.  The second half of the melody returns to the soprano, harmonized with 4-note chords, and accompanied by rapid downward moving scales played by the left hand.  In the final phrase, the pace slows, leading inconclusively to a chord of the 13th on G-flat at  mid-phrase, before resuming in the main key of E-flat and ending triumphantly with a repeated-note trumpet-like pattern.  I have provided a full-length recording to aid the prospective buyer in the decision-making process.  I encourage you to search the Sheet Music Plus or the Sheet Music Direct website for other hymn arrangements of mine, some for organ and others for piano.
