Piano Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1075814 By Daniel Carter. By Anonymous. Arranged by Daniel Carter. Classical,Instructional,Praise & Worship,Sacred. Score. 3 pages. Daniel Carter #679990. Published by Daniel Carter (A0.1075814). Daniel Carter’s piano prelude arrangement of the anonymous hymn tune SANFORD, (often paired with the hymn text, “Come, O Thou King of Kingsâ€) is based on the idea of creating a type of two-part invention out of the melody. Two-part inventions teach finger independence and other technical and interpretive skills making it a great choice for piano students and piano teachers who tutor them. Suitable as a special musical number for worship and devotionals as well as such events as piano recitals and other settings.

Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1136043 By Budapest Scoring. By Joseph Barnby. Arranged by David Warin Solomons. Classical,Contemporary. Full Performance. Duration 228. David Warin Solomons #736069. Published by David Warin Solomons (A0.1136043). This instrumental arrangement of Joseph Barnby's Easter hymn begins with the original and, as the top melody is taken over by other instruments there are various countermelodies, and eventually a twittering of birds. The original words of the hymn (by Christopher Wordsworth) begin: 1 Alleluia! Alleluia! Hearts and voices heavenward raise: Sing to God a hymn of gladness, Sing to God a hymn of praise: He, Who on the cross a victim, For the world's salvation bled, Jesus Christ, the King of glory, Now is risen from the dead. 2 Now the iron bars are broken, Christ from death to life is born, Glorious life, and life immortal, On this holy Easter morn: Christ has triumphed, and we conquer By His mighty enterprise, We with Him to life eternal By His resurrection rise. Percussion Duet - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1315778 By The Beatles. By George Harrison, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, and Richard Starkey. Arranged by Marcelo Borba. Multicultural,Patriotic,Pop,Rock,Spiritual,World. Score. 7 pages. Marcelo Borba #904550. Published by Marcelo Borba (A0.1315778). Arrangement for percussion DUET (marimba, vibraphone and others) with chords included. Now and Then's eventful journey to fruition took place over five decades and is the product of conversations and collaborations between the four Beatles that go on to this day. The long mythologised John Lennon demo was first worked on in February 1995 by Paul, George and Ringo as part of The Beatles Anthology project but it remained unfinished, partly because of the impossible technological challenges involved in working with the vocal John had recorded on tape in the 1970s. For years it looked like the song could never be completed. But in 2022 there was a stroke of serendipity. A software system developed by Peter Jackson and his team, used throughout the production of the documentary series Get Back, finally opened the way for the uncoupling of Johnâ??s vocal from his piano part. As a result, the original recording could be brought to life and worked on anew with contributions from all four Beatles. This remarkable story of musical archaeology reflects The Beatlesâ?? endless creative curiosity and shared fascination with technology. It marks the completion of the last recording that John, Paul and George and Ringo will get to make together and celebrates the legacy of the foremost and most influential band in popular music history.

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.566033 By Bill Haley & His Comets. By Jimmy DeKnight and Max C. Freedman. Arranged by Timothy Allen. Pop. Octavo. 13 pages. Timothy Allen Music Ltd #175434. Published by Timothy Allen Music Ltd (A0.566033). It's a classic for a reason! This toe-tapping, foot-stomping song will lift any programme, and is great fun to sing too. All voice parts get their moment to shine, and there's a fun bam bam bam section instead of the big guitar solos in the original. Encourage your pianist to have fun with this one - or use the available backing track. Whisper the 2, 3, 4 at the end before a big jazz hands finish! The backing track and learning tracks are available - contact the arranger via www.timothyallenmusic.co.uk.

French Horn Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1018950 Composed by Benjamin Harry Sajo. 20th Century,Contemporary. Individual part. 1 pages. Benjamin Sajo #6078687. Published by Benjamin Sajo (A0.1018950). Programme Notes: This composition was written to be considered for pairing alongside Ludwig van Beethoven’s Symphony #3, the Eroica, but can stand on its own virtues as an intense and slow meditation on heroism. The music is like a boiling pot on the stove that’s just began to overflow its bubbles. The first part of the title, kommos, is a Classical Greek term from Attic dramaturgy, literally meaning striking but specifically referring to beating oneself up during lamentation--ripping at the hair, gouging out the eyes--like Oedipus--slapping the forehead, and other acts amid moments of extreme emotional turmoil. For example, from Aeschylus's play Agamemnon, a character bewails: Apollo, Apollo! God of the Ways, my destroyer! For you have destroyed me-and utterly [...]What is this fresh woe [...]what monstrous, monstrous horror, beyond love's enduring, beyond all remedy? And help stands far away! We can easily imagine physical accompaniment to the script; rather than bottling up the pain, the hero lets it all explosively come out.  â€ƒThe second part of the title, When the world moved on, is an epigraph taken from American author Stephen King’s The Dark Tower epic. The primary setting of the novel, a world similar in many ways to our own, is experiencing a dark age where the glorious past is all but a distant memory and all good things are referred to wistfully as occurring, When the world moved on. Yet, the main protagonist, Roland, the last gunslinger, emphasizes that it is not just a figure of speech, but the literal distances between destinations have increased, the positions of the stars have changed, as well as the occurrence of other unnatural phenomena. The world has become a gulf of isolation from all corners. Taken together, this piece is a lamentation for when the world moved on. Truly completed on Yom Kippur during the Covid-19 Pandemic, being unable to fast or go to synagogue, this is my atonement.About the Composer: Benjamin Sajo (b. 1988) is a Canadian composer of contemporary classical music, as well as an educator. Since developing a fiercely independent creative voice upon the completion of his studies at Western (2010) and McGill Universities (2013), he continues to find inspiration from the intersection of mythology, art, and nature upon the contemporary human experience. In 2019, he released his premiere album of original music, The Great War Sextet: Canadian War Poetry with Trombone & Strings, with support from the Ontario Arts Council. He is a member of SOCAN and the League of Canadian Composers.
