It has been done with girls taking one part and boys taking the other. It can be performed as a duet or in a large group situation. The difficulty is when the parts sing harmony (duh?), but with some practice this problem is easily overcome. The piano accompaniment is a little difficult to co-ordinate if the director is also the pianist. It works with either a string bass playing the bottom line of the accomp.
