It was created to open up an opportunity for young children to celebrate Eastertide in this foreign language, popularly taught in elementary schools to youths who select this elective. The composition is also available online in English. The round is introduced on the Ahhh vowel by an adult leader at the school, church, or other organization, and the children are encouraged to memorize the round in order to sing it most adeptly, as it was indeed composed originally in French. Cloches is slightly longer and more complicated than traditional rounds, yet a joyous, simple way to get beginning youth choirs more deeply involved in music, language, and the celebration of the Easter season. A preliminary brass arrangement is in process to compliment this piano vocal.
