This pièce de résistance was arranged thus to make ‘Opera’ accessible to wider audiences for various reasons (instructive, educational purposes; and performance familiarity to/for a larger population).  The original melody and harmonies are used.  It retains the original Italian text, making this arrangement an excellent tool for introducing ‘Opera’ music in the classroom, and programming diversity in the concert hall.  Performance time: 1:45+-.

The piece needs to be repeated, have reprises, and be played again and again... Concernant le titre, c'est en fait une addition rythmique construite sur 1 et 1, 2 et 1, 2, 3 et 1, 2, 3, 4. Une addition donc : l’addition s’il vous plait !On exploite la note sensible du premier degré et la sensible du cinquième degré, l'ensemble est ponctué par le violon de manière obsessionnelle, on obtient une sorte de mouvement perpétuel, hypnotique, conduisant à la transe.
