Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1208296 Composed by Kevin G. Pace (ASCAP), Mary Ann W. Snowball. Christian,Praise & Worship,Religious,Sacred,Spiritual. Octavo. 11 pages. Kevin G. Pace #806402. Published by Kevin G. Pace (A0.1208296). A stunningly beautiful, sacred composition for SATB choir.  Music by Kevin G. Pace and text by Mary Ann W. Snowball.  Depicting the miracle of Jesus curing the man by the Pool of Bethesda.Text:By Bethesda’s special pool, each day they did wait.Blind and halt and withered there, each to not be late.By the pool the crippled lay; healing was the goal.Ere an angel’s touch was stirred, not one would be whole.Years and years a man stayed near, but with none to aid. Then the Savior came, unknown, to surround and stay.Wilt thou be made whole? was asked by the Healer there.I can’t reach the pool myself. These pains I must bear.Wilt thou be made whole? I can ease thy load. Can I heal thy sun-parched soul? May I make thee whole?Rise, and take thy bed and walk. These words Jesus spoke.Soon the man was cleansed and healed, as if he awoke.Had full faith been shown that day from this aged man?Can we also trust our Lord? Will we take his hand?By our own Bethesda pools in a sacred space,He can clearly mend our cares through (by) his wondrous grace. We can also rise like him o’er our doubts and fearsAs we linger, patiently, listening to hear.We can be made whole when his hand we hold.He can heal our holy souls; He will make us whole.

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.719738 Composed by Various. Arranged by Curtis Hanson. Sacred. Octavo. 13 pages. Curtis Hanson #4573123. Published by Curtis Hanson (A0.719738). As years come and go, one increasingly recalls memories of earlier times. One of the most vivid and cherished memories I have while growing up is of Sunday mornings, going to church, sitting in the same pew each week with my grandmother, hearing and singing the beautiful hymns of our faith, and then returning home to the aroma of beef slowly roasting in the oven. My father directed the church choir, my mother and older brothers sang in the choir, so the wonderful music of our faith was instilled in me from an early age. This medley, and others in the series, are arrangements of many of my favorite hymns from those early years, many of which have been lost in more recent editions. For this series, I have mostly elected to use the older texts as that is the way they were first written and the way I first learned them. (See below for more comment on the texts in this set.) There is a reverence and beauty in the language enriching the vocal/choral tone which, I believe, is lost in contemporary, conversational, or politically correct syntax. I shudder to think of the day when a penitential phrase such as Hear thou my prayer, O Lord is rendered as Hey, God-dude, listen up - I'm talkin' atcha! I have also opted not to include the many wonderful hymns and carols which are associated with the major festivals of Christmas and Easter as those are commonly found in other collections. A caveat: I have no delusions, and I offer no pretenses, that these settings are great art. They are simply expressions of faith which I hope may bring a small measure of joy to other church musicians. The hymns in this set are Children of the Heavenly Father, Day by Day, Thy Holy Wings, and Beautiful Savior. A note on the texts in this set: Having grown up in a Swedish Lutheran church, the grandson of Swedish/Norwegian immigrants, and currently being choir director of another Swedish Lutheran church, these hymns have a special place for me. This set was originally arranged for my church choir with the first verse of each in Swedish. Being under copyright, permission was obtained to use the more familiar English translations of the first three songs for local use. For this edition, I have opted to create my own texts for the first and third hymns while the second is a translation in public domain. I have also provided a verse in English in lieu of the Swedish for those Nordically challenged. The fourth hymn is not a Swedish melody but for obvious reasons is a mainstay of the Lutheran hymnal. Like the other hymns, the first verse is in Swedish while the other traditional verses are also public domain.

Piano Solo - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.741207 Composed by Anne Britt. Children,Sacred. Score. 5 pages. Anne Britt #4312453. Published by Anne Britt (A0.741207). This lovely piano solo is based on a children's song with lyrics by Sheila Kindred. 5 pages. Performance time: approximately 3:35.The Red Sea was parted and Moses went through,And, faithful, the children of Israel went, too.The Lord gave them guidance across trackless sand,A light they could follow to the promised land.Upon the great waters sailed Lehi's lone ship. His family was frightened by storms on the trip. They steered by a compass controlled by God's hand,And reached a land saved for obedient man.The wide Mississippi was frozen that day.The Nauvoo Saints crossed it in wagons, they say. Thus started their journey where few men had trod,Across the high mountains to worship their God.Chorus: By baptism's water I enter the roadThat takes me through life, past dangers untold. But God is my Compass, my Light, and my Friend. He'll welcome me home at my journey's end.Free download of the piano/vocal versions available here: https://annebrittmusic.com/product/crossing-the-waters-solo-unison/Visit the publisher's website for contact info and some free sheet music downloads: https://annebrittmusic.com/

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.898108 Composed by Douglas Brooks-Davies. Christian,Contemporary,Praise & Worship,Sacred. Octavo. 9 pages. Douglas Brooks-Davies #4338413. Published by Douglas Brooks-Davies (A0.898108). An exciting new anthem for solo soprano, SATB choir and keyboard on the familiar text from Numbers 6:24-6. The first and last sections of the anthem repeat each other, and are in call and response format between soloist and chorus. The middle section is a rather lovely tune, which changes the opening section's D minor to an exuberant D major. The keyboard maintains an arpeggiated ostinato accompaniment throughout. The piece would suit any service in which a contemporary rhythmical setting is welcome.

Piano Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.818229 By Stephen R Dalrymple. By Isaac Watts and Lowell Mason (from George Frederick Handel). Arranged by Stephen R Dalrymple (Dalrymple Designs). Christmas. Score. 14 pages. Stephen R Dalrymple #3087649. Published by Stephen R Dalrymple (A0.818229). Joy to the World with The Hallelujah Chorus ♫ piano solo arrangement by Stephen R Dalrymple ♫ based on the public domain hymn by Isaac Watts and Lowell Mason (from George Frederick Handel) ♫ Isaac Watts published the lyrics in 1719. We credit Isaac Watts for helping to popularize “hymns†over “Psalms†in Protestant churches in the 18th Century. The texts of “Psalms†came directly from the Bible; “hymns†were more interpretive and reflective. Whether to allow the use of hymns rather than Psalms in church was a controversial topic of the 17th and 18th centuries! ♫ Watts used Psalm 96 and 98 with Genesis 3 to create the lyrics of Joy to the World. For over a hundred years, the lyrics were sung to various Psalm tunes. ♫ Lowell Mason published our current version with the melody ANTIOCH in 1848. He attributed the melody to George Frederick Handel by Lowell. We can find several fragments of this melody in Handel’s music, there is no complete statement of the melody in Handel. And so ANTIOCH is now attributed to Mason. ♫ The Hallelujah Chorus serves as the introduction and the conclusion of this arrangement. It was first published within Messiah, an oratorio by George Frederick Handel in 1741. The lyrics were created by Charles Jennens from the King James Bible. ♫ “The Lord is come†is the present perfect tense. It seems archaic, yet the present perfect tense has a distinct meaning. It points to a current action that is sustained. It isn’t just that Christ came in the past. But that Christ came and is still here with us. ♫ music © 2017 (copyright registered in 'I See your Glory’ collection) ♫ recording ℗ 2020 Stephen R Dalrymple ♫ presentation © 2022 Stephen R Dalrymple ♫ performed by the composer ♫ This .pdf file includes 2 files: 1) Letter size piano score 2) Small page piano score for performing from a 10 inch tablet ♫ (Tell your computer which pages you want to print. Piano Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.818215 By Stephen R Dalrymple. By Malthie Babcock & Franklin Sheppard. Arranged by Stephen R Dalrymple (Dalrymple Designs). Sacred. Score. 13 pages. Stephen R Dalrymple #3070593. Published by Stephen R Dalrymple (A0.818215). This is My Father’s World♫ piano solo arrangement by Stephen R Dalrymple♫ lyrics by Malthie Babcock with a traditional English melody adapted by Franklin Sheppard♫ Malthie Davenport Babcock, a pastor in upstate New York, was an athletic man who loved to walk near Lake Ontario and the Niagara Escarpment. He often told his wife that he was “going out to see the Father’s world.†This phrase prompted the title for one of his original poems. His wife published his poems after his death in 1901 (age 42.) ♫ In 1915 Franklin Shepherd, his friend, adapted Babcock’s poem and an English folk tune to create the hymn. Shepherd named the melody TERRA BEATA (Blessed Earth). ♫ The original folk tune appears in the opening notes of the Shire Theme by Howard Shore in the Lord of the Rings Film Series.♫ The last stanza used in this video is seldom found in hymnbooks. But there is a delightful idea here that since Jesus Christ was incarnated on the earth, the entire earth is holy ground.♫ music © 2017 (copyright registered in 'I See your Glory’ collection)♫ recording ℗ 2020 Stephen R Dalrymple ♫ presentation © 2023 Stephen R Dalrymple ♫ performed by the composer♫ This .pdf file includes 2 files: 1) Letter size piano score 2) Small page piano score for performing from a 10 inch tablet♫ (Tell your computer which pages you want to print. 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7 octaves handbells - Level 3+ - Digital Download SKU: C7.CGB979 Psalm 23. Composed by Alex Guebert. Arranged by Alex Guebert. General, Estertide. With Flute. Score. 12 pages. Chorister's Guild - Digital #CGB979. Published by Chorister's Guild - Digital (C7.CGB979). UPC: 749193024553.Uplifting and sweet, this arrangement of The Lord’s My Shepherd, I’ll Not Want (BROTHER JAMES’ AIR) makes use of stirring crescendos and orchestral-sounding sweeping musical lines.  The quiet waters of the Psalm 23 text are reflected in the shimmering, peaceful first verse.  The second verse gains momentum (My soul He doth restore again) and the powerful crescendo into the third verse brings a confident sense of peace (Yea, though I walk in death’s dark vale / yet will I fear no ill).  At the final cadence, ethereal, unusual harmonies give way to a serene resolution, symbolizing heaven as a final resting place, calling to mind the last lines of the text: and in God’s house forevermore / my dwelling place shall be.  The optional flute part sweetens the lovely soft sections and adds flourish and weight to the majestic third verse and coda.
