The song is simple, but they read it in four ways. First we learn it singing the melody and reading/playing the simple chord shapes, then we see what the notes look like on the second page, then we name the notes, and finally we add the roman numerals (figured bass). I also sing an extra harmony each time we do it, so that students are learning to sing with multiple parts. I hope to include this piece in my Ready to Shine Songs for Children Book 2, and until then it will be available here. I have many more songs and piano repertoire in my books on Amazon, I hope you'll check them out.

There are several options of playing this arrangement: “Air� has two parts which can be repeated – thus, violin1 and cello can distribute the theme. Of course, these repetitions are optional. If you want to play the Air only – there is an optional ending in bar 22. If you want to play only the fugue – start from bar 23 (intro), or from bar 30 (theme). Or you choose to play Air and fugue consecutively. The arrangement works great either ways ;-). Piano voice is written out. However, there are also chord symbols for your own voicings. Minimal instrumentation: piano trio (violin1, cello, piano). Comes with full score and all individual parts. Optional voices for violin 2 and bass, clarinet Bb, guitar, and drums included. The Thai Royal Anthem is performed at state occasions and public meetings, and is played at the start of all concerts, and most other live performances of music or theater. The anthem is most often heard in the cinemas, where it often precedes the main feature. Several slightly different arrangements of the anthem are in regular use. When the anthem is played, the audience stands in respectful silence. This is a beautiful and compelling arrangement for string orchestra by Colin Kirkpatrick, containing a two-page score, and single-page parts for first violins, second violins, violas, cellos and double basses. The arrangement is set in the key of F major. All the parts are contained in the single PDF file.

Start Over Soca is a soca that features the quick hands of the lead players. Many notes are repeated to create a falling or rising effect. The moving bass line will surely sound solid and the cellos and double seconds will have a fun time with the short features they get in the transition sections of the piece. In the middle, there is a false ending, which starts the beginning over again and plays a modified finale (Hence the Start Over Soca).
