I very much wanted it to be a sax duet rather than sax 1 and sax 2, so the parts are pretty equally divided. It is romantic in nature, but uses modes and has a few interesting harmonies. It is placed at early intermediate level, about associated board grade 4/5- The youtube link has the full score for you to assess suitability. A dotted quaver semiquaver is the most complicated rhythm. It would be very suitable for concerts, contests, recitals, weddings as well as an incidental piece. 5 minutes in length. It has been arranged here for String Orchestra using various techniques to try and conjure up the famous tremolo effect, along other bowing techniques to add variety to this orchestration. A little information about the piece: Recuerdos de la Alhambra (Memories of the Alhambra) is a classical guitar piece composed in Málaga by Spanish composer and guitarist Francisco Tárrega It requires the tremolo technique and is often performed by advanced players.The piece was written for and dedicated to Tárrega's patron Concepción Gómez de Jacoby in 1899, commemorating their visit to the Alhambra palace and fortress complex in Granada, Spain. It was originally titled Improvisación ¡A Granada! Cantiga �rabe. It became known through an early 20th-century publication edited by Tárrega and dedicated as an homage to the French guitarist Alfred Cottin.

The music always reflects in colors in my brain. The Sonnet 123 rounds up in purple rosy. I decided to write a duet sharing the same color for praising sonnet 123. The music is expressed in my own way. Also, I wanted to start the music in a way of most straight-forward, therefore the first subject entered as a 4-note broken chord. After I have finished making this song, It was for my assignment, The professor of my digital Audio Class enjoyed it and wanted me to keep it because of how beautiful it was. So I wanted to compose it and write the music down and I'll let the full orchestra to play this beautiful song. I know that it is kind of an unhappy piece. It is entirely in G Minor. However, the Music that I made in the DAW and the Scoring are not gonna have the same melody. It will be the same piece, but it will have a little bit of changes.   .
