He was a part of shows at the Hippodrome through 1915, by which time his pantomime routine and falling gags were falling out of favor with the public. He did reappear at the Hippodrome for some later shows in 1920-21 and 1922-23.Attempts to succeed in the restaurant business in New York and Connecticut both failed, and he lost money in real estate ventures. There are also several spots where the left hand crosses over the right hand to reach a note that is outside of Middle C Position. Notes are also slightly enlarged for easier reading. Piano Secondo is ideal for a teacher or intermediate student who is comfortable with reading both hands in bass clef. The harmony changes ever so slightly with each iteration. Only 5 days are written here, but it would be easy to add repeated bars to get through all 12 days. Either way, this makes for a great piece for a young student at a winter recital!
