B-Flat Trumpet,Baritone Horn TC/Euphonium,Choir,Trombone - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1156067 Composed by Samuel Coleridge-Taylor. Arranged by Richard Decker. 20th Century,Christmas,Contest,Easter,Festival,Praise & Worship. 42 pages. Charles Decker Music Press #756379. Published by Charles Decker Music Press (A0.1156067). Samuel Coleridge-Taylor was an early 20th century English composer and conductor who was an influential advocate for Black composers. His numerous choir anthems offer dramatic performance opportunities for church or the concert hall.  His festival anthem SATB choral anthem Lift Up Your Heads is an expressive and dramatic work enhanced with brass quartet accompaniment of two B-flat trumpets and two trombones with alternate F horn and treble clef euphonium parts provided for the trombone parts. The organ/piano part can be used for chorus preparation as well as additional support for performances if desired. However, not using the keyboard part in its entirety for a performance in addition to the brass group will create a more interesting interplay of different timbres. Conductors should ensure accompaniment parts don't overwhelm the chorus especially if the keyboard part is added with the brass. The recording is of the entire edition.Use this link to see all the Charles Decker Music Press Christmas holiday music for mixed brass and homogeneous groups.“The Music of Black Composers Series is a welcome and timely addition to the brass repertoire. Interesting music, expertly arranged, fun to perform, and well received by audiences. Highly recommended!†Wesley Nance, Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, Eastman School of Music “I was so pleased to see the great works arranged for brass ensemble by Charles Decker Music Press especially the Music of Black Composers’ Series. It was especially rewarding to perform several of these with Summit Brass and with the students attending the Rafael Mendez Brass institute. Please keep these wonderful settings coming. Concert Band - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1346333 Composed by Clive Longhurst. March. 61 pages. Clive Longhurst #931156. Published by Clive Longhurst (A0.1346333). I wrote this march over 12 years ago, when I was first getting into composing/arranging, and it was rather too 'busy'. Too many musicians doing too much. So I had another look and made it more playable by bands of a lesser technical aptitude. It is dedicated to all the volunteers, who give up their time, to make the Royal British Legion the steadfast organisation it has become. They truly are the unsung heroes of the charity. I hope this march pays them the compliment it is meant to. There will soon be a brass band version available.Page 11 is a useful advice sheet for printing.I hope your band enjoys playing it, be it on the march or a concert.

Easy Piano - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.968673 Composed by Nicole Doran. 20th Century,Christian,Jewish,Sacred. Score. 6 pages. Nicole E Doran #6304191. Published by Nicole E Doran (A0.968673). The Steadfast Heart, a psalm cycle for advancing musicians is a pedagogical work of art and a journey of faith. It sets into sound the faith of a Messianic Jewish classical musician who wants to pass along all that she has learned of faith and music to her children and the next generation of God-fearing musicians. Mastering the keyboard step by step helps you understand the miracle of harmony. Melodies refresh the soul and many tones blending together show the wonder of unity in diversity; this is true of all music. However, meditating on the psalms as you play helps you understand the way Christ and all the faithful have looked to the Father in Heaven as their guide and protector as you delight in the musical sounds you can produce.Dr. Doran includes accessible verses from the NIV and some lines of the poetry that challenge modern ears and sensibilities. Sweet melodies, imitative counterpoint, modal and tonal harmonization and register shifts prove that an intermediate pianist can savor the artistry for the level they have achieved and still thirst for more musical and spiritual goodness to come just like David longed for the Lord’s presence and fullness. As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul longs after You, O God. Thousands of people are trying to hear or memorize ALL the Psalms in these confusing and uncertain times. What safer way to explore than in the shelter of your practice time until you are ready to share your favorites with others. Here is a method to use the instrument we have in our homes and be a participant in this wonderful musical journey from Psalm 1-150. Each new set should be released in January, April, August, and December.

Piano Solo - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1111002 By Twenty One Pilots. By Tyler Joseph. Arranged by Fernando Ramos. Contemporary,Hip-Hop,Pop,R & B,Rock,Singer/Songwriter. Score. 3 pages. Fernando Ramos #713270. Published by Fernando Ramos (A0.1111002). Other Arrangements Available: https://www.sheetmusicplus.com/publishers/fernando-ramos-sheet-music/3016426?isPLP=1 I make piano solo arrangements for my students of songs that they love! My goal is to create something that sounds beautiful as a standalone piece of music and, most importantly, that it also makes pianistic sense. Each of my arrangements is made for a specific student, so the results will vary in terms of playing level. Most decisions are based on their current skills and abilities, or where I would like for them to be when they complete the piece. This arrangement was made for a mid-beginner student who completed Level 1B of Alfred's Premier Course and working on Level 2. It was still a little challenging, but it didn't faze him very much. He was simply too excited about playing this song. He is now in the Primary IV Class. Easy and repetitive LH, but beware of all the jumping. Pedal and fingering suggestions are included.

Piano Accompaniment, Dan CutchenTime: approximately 6:00And Can It Be That I Should Gain? is a Christian hymn written by Charles Wesley. And Can It Be was written in 1738 to celebrate Wesley's conversion, which he regarded as having taken place on May 21 of that year. This beautiful hymn has been popular and enduring. And Can It Be That I Should Gain is perhaps one of the most joyfully poignant hymns penned by Charles Wesley (1707-1788). On Whitsunday (Pentecost), May 21, 1738, three days before his brother John experienced his heart strangely warmed,’ Charles was convalescing in the home of John Bray, a poor mechanic, when he heard a voice saying, In the name of Jesus of Nazareth, arise, and believe, and thou shalt be healed of all thy infirmities. The voice was most likely Mr. Bray’s sister who felt commanded to say these words in a dream.Anglican hymn writer Timothy Dudley-Smith, notes that the following then happened:Charles got out of bed and opening his Bible read from the Psalms: He have put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God, followed by the first verse of Isaiah 40, Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. He wrote in his journal, I have found myself at peace with God, and rejoiced in the hope of love Christ (Dudley-Smith, 1987, 1).The statement from Mr. Bray’s sister sparked within Charles a conviction like he had never felt before. Moved and convicted in spirit, Charles wrestled with these words until he came to rest in his faith, knowing that it is by faith we are saved (Ephesians 2:8).Soon after this conversion experience, he wrote two hymns in celebration of the amazing love he had come to know: And Can It Be that I Should Gain and Where Shall My Wondering Soul Begin? (United Methodist Hymnal, 342)There has been some debate as to which hymn was written first, but most current scholarship accepts the latter as the first hymn written by Charles after his conversion experience. No matter its place in the chronology of Wesley's output, And Can It Be has been and remains one of his most remarkable hymns, expressing like no other the rapturous joy of receiving salvation. And Can It Be That I Should Gain. Full Orchestra - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1094610 Composed by Chéng Màoyún (1900-1957). Arranged by Colin Kirkpatrick. Multicultural,Patriotic,World. Score and parts. 32 pages. Colin Kirkpatrick Publications #698673. Published by Colin Kirkpatrick Publications (A0.1094610). This anthem should not be confused with the National Anthem of the People’s Republic of China, known as March of the Volunteers which is the anthem of mainland China including its special administrative regions of Hong Kong and Macau. The Taiwanese anthem is currently banned from performance on mainland China and strongly discouraged from being performed in Hong Kong and Macau. Ironically, the national anthem of ROC Taiwan was first used as the anthem for the whole of China when the country was controlled by the Kuomintang. However, in 1949 the Kuomintang government was ousted and relocated to the island of Taiwan to continue government using the same symbols of state that they employed in mainland China. The anthem is informally known as San Min Chu I or San Min Zhu Yi (“Three Principles of the Peopleâ€). As well as the full score (19 staves), the publication includes separate parts for flutes (unison), piccolo, 2 oboes, 2 clarinets in B flat, 2 bassoons, 4 horns in F, 3 trumpets in B flat, 3 trombones, tuba, violin 1, violin 2, violin 3 (same as viola part), viola, cello, double bass, timpani and percussion (3 players). The score and the parts are presented in a single PDF file.
