String Orchestra - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.919912 Composed by Ludwig van Beethoven. Arranged by William E. Moats. Classical,Concert,Instructional. Score and parts. 12 pages. William E. Moats #4365406. Published by William E. Moats (A0.919912). This arrangement of the well known theme from Beethoven's ninth symphony, fourth movement for Young Orchestra is about two minutes long at the marked tempo. It is written in the key of G and requires an occasional F natural in the upper strings and a D# in the lower strings. First position players can access this arrangement.  Some pizzicato is used and the cellos and violas have a section of bowed melody. This arrangement can be played without a double bass. The piano part is not necessary for performance but can add reinforcement to the string parts and add rhythmic stability. The parts included are: Score, 1st Violin, 2nd Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass, and Piano.

Instrumental Solo,Piano and Keyboard - Level 3 - Interactive Download SKU: A0.1164012 By Peter Saltzman. By Peter Saltzman. This edition: Interactive Download. Classical,Film/TV,Pop. Individual part. 3 pages. Duration 89. Salt Muse, Inc #6v9jdnqLBkoeWHSt22Y6e3. Published by Salt Muse, Inc (A0.1164012). Key: C major. This nocturne-style piece has a distinctly cinematic feel. I composed it for a student (who played it poorly) and then kept refining it for other students who played it better and better! Finally, I added a secondary voice, which does make it more difficult, but also adds richness to the tune. A good recital piece for the intermediate-level pianist who may want to play something other than the first movement of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata.

English. When asked what the theme of his play was, Wilde answered “That we should treat all trivial things in life very seriously, and all serious things in life with a sincere and studied triviality. Gerald Barry’s fifth opera based on the play is genuine comic with a dark heart. The previous four have remarkable libretti, but The Importance of Being Earnest, written in 1894, is all but perfect in its construction, and Barry’s audacious approach triumphantly confounds all expectations. As Barry describes it: The play’s bones are unshatterable. My version is an X-ray of it. The musical references range from Beethoven to Schoenberg, all treated with a reckless panache and impish wit, by turns dazzling, startling and charming the audience.
