This is a wonderful setting of three hymns that are usually sung on Palm Sunday.  I wrote a melody that is used to tie the three together.  It would be for early intermediate or more choir.  The hymns themselves are in typical chorale style for the most part, and are tied together by my common theme.  This is a nice, budget friendly way to celebrate Palm Sunday, as it employs one trumpet, piano, and organ, as well as the choir.  This would work with a minimum octet choir or larger.  Also offered is a Piano-Choral version for the choir to use, which is less pages than the full score.  The trumpet part is included at the end of the full score.

The noble baroque chorale melody St Theodulph is sung to hymn texts such as All Glory, Laud, and Honor (Palm Sunday), and O How Shall I Receive Thee (Advent). Also popular in Germany, Wie Soll Ich Dich Empfangen, and the Netherlands, Hoe Zal Ik U Ontvangen. The chorale is shared between the three instruments and the organ writing is on two staves in a baroque style with an independent melodic Pedal line. The score downloads with two one-page trumpet parts and a two page organ part. Theobald Böhm (1794-1881) made a brilliant arrangement of Schubert's Serenade (Ständchen - Leise flehen meine Lieder) for concert flute and piano based on the piano version by Liszt. 
This version for clarinet and guitar is based on my original version extended in line with the Böhm arrangement, allowing the melody instrument to blossom into lyrical variations of the melody.
