Flute Choir,Woodwind Ensemble Alto Flute,Bass Flute - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1037658 Composed by Giovanni Gabrieli (c.1554/7 - 1612). Arranged by Adrian Dee. Renaissance. 27 pages. Adrian Dee #642563. Published by Adrian Dee (A0.1037658). Here is one for the big flutes. Arranged for 3 C-flutes, 2 alto flutes, 2 bass flutes, and 2 contrabass flutes. Each voice is unique, so all parts are required, including both contra parts. You may add piccolo players (one on each part) to double the first and second flute parts. This piece is a typical example of Gabrieli’s masterful counterpoint. Keep all notes cleanly separated as though they were marked staccato, especially repeated notes. Bring out the moving notes and drop back on longer notes.

Brass Ensemble - Digital Download SKU: A0.987747 Composed by Dana Taylor. 20th Century,Jazz. Score and parts. 20 pages. Dana Taylor Music #31901. Published by Dana Taylor Music (A0.987747). See also the Brass Canon-Parts. This is a musical canon, for brass. What else would I call it? It's for 4 horns, 3 trumpets, 3 trombones, euphonium, tuba and tympani (F2 to Ab3). It's just over two minutes long, but very contrapuntal and a challenge. But playable, with rehearsal. Take it a section at a time, and insiste the others listen. Every theme they play is echoed by others, so once they hear the tuba solo in the beginning, everyone should just copy it, in their own octave and key. LOTS of modulations. Again, they'll groan but they'll learn things. And they'll.

Full Performance. Duration 228. David Kai #708503. Published by David Kai (A0.1105243). A Newfoundland Christmas song about wishing to be back home for Christmas. THEY’LL BE ON THE ROCK THIS CHRISTMAS words and music by David Kai ©1997 They’ll come from far as Whitehorse and as close as Sydney Mines, They’re packing up their suitcases and their boxes tied with twine, They’re getting on those airplanes, Dash 8s and DC 9s, Driving to the ferry docks and they’re waiting there in line. And they'll be on the Rock this Christmas, where stars shine twice as bright, They'll be on the Rock this Christmas, greeting mummers every night, Yarning ‘round the wood stove, eating partridgeberry pie, And I’ll be wondering “Why, oh why aren’t I?†‘Cause I’ll be in the factory, pulling double overtime, No one wants the Christmas shift so I guess that makes it mine, Late tonight I’ll light a candle in my lonely room, And think of those who are traveling home, ‘cause I know that very soon, That they'll be on the Rock this Christmas, where stars shine twice as bright, Yeah, they'll be on the Rock this Christmas, greeting mummers every night, Yarning ‘round the wood stove eating partridgeberry pie, And I’ll be wondering “Why, oh why aren’t I?†I’ve got to get there somehow, this poor soul’s just too homesick, My busted car won’t take me far, but my thumb will do the trick. I’ll call the boss from Port aux Basques, hope he’s in the mood to see, ‘Though I may choose to leave the Rock, it’s the Rock that won’t leave me. And I'll be on the Rock this Christmas, where stars shine twice as bright, Yeah, I'll be on the Rock this Christmas, greeting mummers every night, Yarning ‘round the wood stove, eating partridgeberry pie, And no more wondering “Why, oh why aren’t I?†Optional extra chorus: And we'll be on the Rock this Christmas, where stars shine twice as bright, Yeah, we'll be on the Rock this Christmas, greeting mummers every night, Yarning ‘round the wood stove, eating partridgeberry pie, And no more wondering “Why, oh why aren’t I?†Tag: No, no more wondering “Why, oh why aren’t I?â€.
