Piano Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1495486 By Damien Gauci. By Damien Gauci. Classical,Contemporary. Score. 5 pages. Damien Gauci #1072003. Published by Damien Gauci (A0.1495486). What a relief! It was just another squirrel all along! Whiskers and the other squirrel are cautious to meet each other but they walk up to each other slowly and carefully, ready to run at any moment in case something happens. Whiskers thinks to himself about all that fear and chaos he felt earlier that was all for nothing, he is very relieved to find out that the scary creature he was so scared about was just another squirrel.Whiskers doesn’t have many other friends so he’s happy to find someone else in these woods to become friends with. The scary abandoned house that they’re in seems to fade away now that he feels comfortable with this other squirrel. What an adventure it has been so far, from finding this abandoned house to running for his life to making a new friend. I wonder what her name is?
But It Was Just Another Squirrel.

Baritone Horn BC Solo,Baritone Horn TC/Euphonium Solo - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.866054 Composed by Karl Hinterbichler. 20th Century,Romantic Period. Individual part. 38 pages. Gordon Cherry #472496. Published by Gordon Cherry (A0.866054). A wonderful collection of Five Orchestral Etudes for Tenor Tuba by Karl Hinterbichler, one of America's leading educators and performers. These etudes are imaginative, and challenging, and concentrate on perfecting technique, style, rhythm, and tempo. Professor Hinterbichler's Etudes concentrate on five of the most requested Tenor Tuba orchestral excerpts. They include the original keys and clefs and the transposed ones as well. These etudes are for advanced performers. Works included in the Five Orchestral Etudes are: Ein Heldenleben and Don Quixote by Strauss, Symphony No. 7 and 1 (tuba solo) by Mahler, The Planets by Holst, Pictures at an Exhibition (tuba solo) by Mussorgsky, and the Concertino by Janacek. According to the composer, they are even more difficult than the actual excerpts themselves, so the real thing should seem simpler by comparison.

Full Orchestra - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1004946 Composed by Rob Birdwell. Contemporary,Film/TV,Pop,World. Score and parts. 57 pages. Birdwell Music LLC #4634031. Published by Birdwell Music LLC (A0.1004946). Full symphonic underscore for a poem dedicated to all Dogs in the world. It's a sentimental offering, but one intended to raise awareness of the need to support organizations that shelter and care for animals in order to find them homes where they can live long, happy and healthy lives. The musical underscore starts off dramatic but soon becomes more atmospheric to underscore the poem.  The poem is timed somewhat to the music, however, each reader will offer their own interpretation and cadence to fit within the overall fabric of the music. The score is particularly suited for professional orchestras especially since it calls for two harpists and a full compliment of strings, winds, and brass, and a variety of interesting percussion.  Everything about the score is intended to underscore the poem reader, so dynamics are generally soft and the score will work and sound great even with orchestras lacking some of the instrumentation.Portions of all proceeds from sales of this score will be donated to charities supporting the care of Dogs, Cats, and other animals and it is the composer's/poet's wish that live performances will make the most of the symphonic hall setting to encourage others to donate generously to organizations that promote animal well-being.

Score and parts. 3 pages. Gustavo Fuentes #3534751. Published by Gustavo Fuentes (A0.900399). The sweetness of Silence. Celtic music song composed by Gustavo Fuentes, arranged for three voices. Two melody instruments, such as tin whistle, flute, recorder or violin, and low voice like cello or bass, with chords for piano or guitar. The audio is from to the Gustavo Fuentes CD Almas en vuelo that you can listen to on Spotify.Lovers communicate in unique and diverse ways. They use words of love, loving glances and tender caresses to share in the joy of being together. But one of the most enjoyable things a couple can share is silence. Being silent, perhaps holding hands and looking into each other’s eyes, can communicate plenty. Merely knowing the other person is right there by your side with love, affection and understanding is one of the most gratifying feelings in the world. And that is what this song is about: love, lovers and shared silence.

Jazz Ensemble Jazz Ensemble - Digital Download SKU: A0.977365 Composed by Frank Loesser. Arranged by Des McNutty. Contemporary. Score and parts. 61 pages. Des Press #6888385. Published by Des Press (A0.977365). If I Were a Bell is a song from the 1950 musical Guys and Dolls, based on Damon Runyan stories from Broadway in the prohibition era. Sky, the thirsty gambler, takes straight-laced Salvationist Sarah to Havana for a bet. They drink a local milkshake with sugar and a little native flavouringSarah: What's the name of the flavouring?Sky: Bacardi.Sarah: Doesn't Bacardi have alcohol in it?Sky: Oh, only enough to act as a preservative.Sarah: You know, this would be a wonderful way to get children to drink milk! After a couple of those, she bursts into song. Doris Day had a Top-20 hit with If I Were a Bell in 1950 and many singers have covered it since. Its place as a Jazz Standard was cemented in 1956 on the album Relaxin' with The Miles Davis Quintet. This original arrangement for big band features a solo flute - if not a flute solo - and, at 128 BPM, is slightly slower than usual. It was written in the mid-1990s for the Morley College Jazz Orchestra in London (then directed by Gordon BAP! Rose and Pete Pearl and Dean Moore). The style is in the direction of the understated West-Coast sound (Count Basie/Bill Russo/Bill Holman), with tipsy soli sections and a shout-chorus. The part for second alto OR first tenor is the same, meaning the flautist can be either an alto or tenor player. Well, if I were a salad I know I'd be splashing my dressing.Hic!

Piano Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.947452 Composed by Miriam Daly. Blues,Folk,Standards. Score. 4 pages. Miriam Daly #6687549. Published by Miriam Daly (A0.947452). Reflection Blues is an Advanced Intermediate Blues piano solo, 2 minutes long, with a minor feel in the key of C; with lots of 16th and 16th note triplets nested in 1/8th note triplets.  Don’t be intimidated by all the notes, they fit nicely within hand positions.  I have found although there is a lot of EASY material for boogie learners, and at the other end of the spectrum, complicated transcriptions, I needed to write intermediate pieces for my students to fill the material gap.(Music Cover Photo by Beth Macdonald on Unsplash)https://unsplash.com/photos/-bwLfmGUPCg?utm_source=unsplash&utm_medium=referral&utm_content=...https://www.miriamdaly.com/

Full Orchestra - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.869295 Composed by Thomas Oboe Lee. 20th Century,Baroque,Classical,Contemporary,Romantic Period. Score and parts. 149 pages. Thomas Oboe Lee #431379. Published by Thomas Oboe Lee (A0.869295). Instrumentation: 3222-4231-timp-2perc-hp-chorus-strings Program note:It has been a wonderful two years of thinking, learning and working on my Continental Harmony Project with the Bangor Symphony Orchestra. It is a rare occasion that a composer in the 21st century would receive a commission to write a musical work of such scale: a 40-minute piece for symphony orchestra, 200-plus chorus and a ballet company.   At the Bangor Public Library I found some wonderful evocative 19th century texts for the chorus about the city of Bangor and its environs: the Penobscot River, Mt. Ktaadn, the logging industry, the native American culture, etc.   At times I felt overwhelmed, but most of the times I was exuberant and quite inspired by the music that came forth in the process.   The premiere is less than a month away, and I am looking forward to it. Susan Jonason, Executive Director of the Bangor Symphony, has made the occasion a very public one: a free concert on a Saturday evening! I hope the audience will go home humming the tunes from the work as they walk into the crisp, cool Bangor night.Formally the work is in five movements. The first, third and fifth movements are choral, and the two in between are orchestral.   In the premiere, the Robinson Ballet will dance in the orchestral movements.  The first movement is about the Penobscot River from winter to spring. The melting of the ice is a harbinger of things to come: warmer weather, for instance; but it has also contributed to a lot of flooding in the city of Bangor and its surroundings. The second movement is a waltz, a grand 19th century ballroom waltz for the ladies of the rich lumber barons. They come to the ball showing off their latest hats and gowns from London, Paris and Milan. The third movement is about the woods and the people who work in them. Thoreau’s text about Mt. Ktaadn is full of awesome thoughts about how nature is beautiful, yet unkind to man.   It is followed by a J.G. Whittier lyric entitled The Logger’s Boast. The original song had twenty stanzas to it. I whittled it down to five. I don’t know what the original song sounded like, so I made up my own version of a lumberjack’s drinking song. The fourth movement is a wild, drunken polka. After a long week of working in the woods the lumbermen come back to the city and spend all their earnings on booze, women and gambling. And they dance the night away …The last movement begins with a funeral march for Joe Attien, a native American who was Thoreau’s guide when he came up here in the 1900’s. The work ends with a rousing march, a centennial hymn to the city of Bangor.   God bless our city Bangor, now! On this its birthday morn …NB: The two ballet movements, II. La Valse and IV. Drunken Polka, are optional.

Brass Ensemble Horn,Trombone,Trumpet,Tuba - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.802647 By Bee Gees. By Barry Gibb, Maurice Gibb, and Robin Gibb. Arranged by Peet du Toit. Dance,Disco. Score and parts. 23 pages. Peet du Toit #6197563. Published by Peet du Toit (A0.802647). I've Gotta Get a Message to You is a song by the Bee Gees. Released as a single on 7 September 1968, it was their second number-one single on the UK Singles Chart and their first US Top 10 hit.The song is about a man who, awaiting his execution in the electric chair, begs the prison chaplain to pass a final message on to his wife. Robin Gibb, who wrote the lyrics, said that the man's crime was the murder of his wife's lover, though the lyrics do not explicitly allude to the identity of the victim. Robin said, This is about a prisoner on Death Row who only has a few hours to live. He wants the prison chaplain to pass on a final message to his wife. There's a certain urgency about it. Myself and Barry wrote it. It's a bit like writing a script. Sometimes you can sit there for three hours with your guitar and nothing will happen. Then in the last ten minutes something will spark. The song was written with Percy Sledge in mind to record it. Sledge did record it in February 1970 but Atlantic did not issue his version in the United States at the time.Barry recalled, In those days, the lyrics were almost pretty well done on the spot. I don't remember the fundamentals on how the lyrics were formed, except that we were writing about a guy on death row. That was it.Robin adds:It was like acting, you see, we said, let's pretend that somebody, his life is on the line, somebody's going to the chair. What would be going through their mind? Let's not make it doom and gloom but sort of an appeal to the person he loves. Because right now that's all he cares about. Regardless of whether he's done a bad thing, he is a human being, and he's sending out this last message. There's someone out there whom he loves. It's a torch song, but within a very sort of theatrical sense. Not sort of abstract, but definitely somebody in a very bad situation whose life is going to end. What would they be saying, you know? This is it: 'Gotta get a message to you, hold on.Revive this hit on your brass instruments and enjoy!

Piano Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1499562 By Richard Clayderman. By Oliver Toussaint and Paul De Senneville. Arranged by Martyn Clive Johnson (aka Martycli Piano Guy). Contemporary,Jazz,Pop,Ragtime. Score. 10 pages. Martyn Johnson #1075626. Published by Martyn Johnson (A0.1499562). This is my version of the classic tune performed by Richard Clayderman the iconic French pianist. I have done a complete departure from the arrangement he plays and done it as a slightly up tempo stride piano/ragtime piece. It's such a good melody I think it survives this treatment very well and sounds kind of cool, though I say so myself!I like to keep my arrangements as simple and easy to read as possible so I avoid pedal markings, dynamics and fingering all of which you'd struggle to find two piano teachers to agree on so  I leave them to the discretion of the individual pianist. If the intervals of 10ths are too big for your hands, as is often the case, they can be 'rolled' or just play the root note in octaves or even single notes. Please note I don't include notation for the other instruments on my YouTube recording it is simply a piano solo. It was written as a piano solo so it sounds perfect just like that.I hope you enjoy playing it as much as I enjoyed arranging it. Best of luck.

Bassoon - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1474103 Composed by James Smith. Classical,Contest,Festival,Instructional,Multicultural,Traditional,World. Educational Method. 44 pages. Ensemble Llama Music #1051737. Published by Ensemble Llama Music (A0.1474103). I’m a bassoonist, and I don’t like the teaching materials for bassoon that are out there. There’s not enough depth and engagement in them, and nothing that supports the everyday music teacher. So I set out to create something that I would feel comfortable giving to my private students to help them grow as musicians. There are many types of music in the book: etudes, exercises, warm-ups, backwards and upside down duets (one person plays normally, the other person reads the music in an unusual way), improvised music, and composition. Musical styles range across a variety of cultures and genres such as classical, blues, fiddle tunes, marches, contemporary, musicals, and more.  Using carefully crafted etudes, exercises, and songs in a variety of styles, your bassoon students are going to to find immediate success. The bite-sized examples encourage students to focus on tone, as they extend their technique and range on this wonderful instrument. Examples from the book:1.1 - Memories1.2 - Can-Can1.3 - Baby-Back Blues1.4 - Somewhere Nice1.5 - Go Down, Moses1.6 - Magenta Sky (A Backwards Duet)1.7 - Cakewalk1.8 - Red River Valley1.9 - Symphony No. 6, Mvt. 2 (Tchaikovsky)1.10 - Arkansas Traveler1.11 - Give My Regards to Broadway (key of B Flat Major)1.12 - In The Hall of the Mountain King1.13 - Landlord Fill The Flowing Bowl1.14 - It Ain't Gonna Rain No Mo'1.15 - Shalom Chaverim1.16 - Londonderry Air1.17 - Theme & Variations, Für Elise1.18 - Ominous (A Backwards Duet)Create & Improvise: St. Louis Blues (W.C.
