Guitar,Instrumental Duet - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1345389 By The Smiths. By Johnny Marr and Steven Morrissey. Arranged by Derek Hasted. Pop. 14 pages. Derek Hasted #930328. Published by Derek Hasted (A0.1345389). PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE (The Smiths) - accessible piece for 2 GUITARSIntended for classical guitar, though sometimes it gets listed erroneously under electric guitar. Both parts are supplied in “Notation only†and “Notation + TABâ€Derek Hasted writes This song burst back into my consciousness when it was played as a Viennese Waltz in the BBC TV program “Strictly Come Dancingâ€.The ponderous, downbeat, original became light, inspiring, uplifting and very beautiful. Here’s the version that was on TV - the same key as the original but slightly shorter. One guitar takes the tune, the other (with the bottom string tuned to D) takes the accompaniment - there is really no seamless way to swap roles partway through, so as well as a concert piece it’s an excellent Student/Teacher duet to teach some rhythms that are unexpected.I hope you enjoy playing this piece! This is one of a large and growing range of accessible ensembles from experienced arranger Derek Hasted, and is supplied as full score and parts. Horn,Piccolo Trumpet,Trombone,Tuba - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.746869 Composed by Bohemian Hymn. Arranged by Keith Terrett. Baroque,Easter,World. 7 pages. Keith Terrett #4786801. Published by Keith Terrett (A0.746869). Arranged for Brass Quartet, Jesus Christ Is Risen Today was first written in Latin titled Surrexit Christus hodie, as a Bohemian hymn in the 14th century by an unknown author on manuscripts written in Munich and Breslau. In Latin, it had eleven verses. It was first translated into English in 1708 by John Baptist Walsh to be included in his Lyra Davidica (Collection of Divine Songs and Hymns). The verses of the hymn were revised in 1749 by John Arnold. Initially the hymn only had three verses translated with just the first verse being a direct translation; in 1740 Charles Wesley (one of the founders of Methodism) added a fourth verse to the hymn as an alternative, which was later adopted into the hymn as part of it. The hymn is also noted for having Alleluia as a refrain after every line. The hymn is set to a piece of music entitled Easter Hymn which was composed in the Lyra Davidica for Jesus Christ Is Risen Today. There was a later version of Easter Hymn composed by William Henry Monk which is also used for Jesus Christ Is Risen Today. Some denominations of Christianity often just use one while some use both. The hymn is sometimes confused with Christ the Lord Is Risen Today, which was written by Wesley. This is because the wording is similar and Christ the Lord Is Risen Today is usually likewise sung to Easter Hymn with Llanfair generally being the most common alternative. For more of my original music, great arrangements and all the national anthems of the world, check out my on-line stores: http://www.scoreexchange.com/profiles/keith_terret http://www.sheetmusicplus.com/search?Ntt=keith+terrett Need an anthem fast?  They are ALL in my store! Piano Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1201501 By The Beatles. By John Lennon and Paul McCartney. Arranged by Timothy Stapay. Film/TV,Pop,Rock,Singer/Songwriter,Standards. Score. 6 pages. Timothy Stapay #800122. Published by Timothy Stapay (A0.1201501). This is an arrangement of Norwegian Wood, composed by John Lennon and Paul McCartney.  It is written in a bright improvisational style; with changes of key.Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown) is a song by the English rock band the Beatles from their 1965 album Rubber Soul. It was written mainly by John Lennon, with lyrical contributions from Paul McCartney, and credited to the Lennon–McCartney songwriting partnership. Influenced by the introspective lyrics of Bob Dylan, the song is considered a milestone in the Beatles' development as songwriters. The track features a sitar part, played by lead guitarist George Harrison, that marked the first appearance of the Indian string instrument on a Western rock recording. The song was a number 1 hit in Australia when released on a single there in 1966, coupled with Nowhere Man. Norwegian Wood Lyrics:[Verse 1: John Lennon]I once had a girlOr should I say, she once had me?She showed me her roomIsn't it good, Norwegian wood?[Bridge: John Lennon & Paul McCartney]She asked me to stay and she told me to sit anywhereSo I looked around and I noticed there wasn't a chair[Verse 2: John Lennon]I sat on the rugBiding my time, drinking her wineWe talked until twoAnd then she said, It's time for bed[Guitar Solo][Bridge: John Lennon & Paul McCartney]She told me she worked in the morning and started to laughI told her I didn't and crawled off to sleep in the bath[Verse 3: John Lennon]And when I awokeI was alone, this bird had flownSo I lit a fireIsn't it good, Norwegian wood?

Guitar Ensemble Guitar - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.797762 By Fleetwood Mac. By Christine Mcvie. Arranged by Derek Hasted. Pop,Rock. Score and parts. 31 pages. Derek Hasted #5205403. Published by Derek Hasted (A0.797762). SAY YOU LOVE ME (Fleetwood Mac) - FOUR GUITARS/LARGE ENSEMBLEFor Classical or Acoustic Guitar - sometimes it's erroneously listed here as Electric Guitar.Derek Hasted writes This is a real crowd-pleaser that will suit any informal concert. My arrangement of 'Say You Love Me' is faithful to the Fleetwood Mac original in both the key and the number of sections that it contains. The piece closes with a final chord instead of a long fade out, but it's a big piece with a big sound and it runs for nearly four minutes at the recommended tempo. There are two bass parts in this edition - one in treble clef and one in bass clef...The arrangement works well with 4 guitars, but a larger ensemble will find it easy to get much more drive and power! In a large ensemble, the syncopated rhythms need to be tight and accurate if they are to provide a compelling rhythmic support to the tune. It’s worth mentioning that the name Fleetwood Mac derives from the group’s founder, Mick Fleetwood and John McVie (Mac), their bass player. Why tell you that? Because the Guitar 4 part is a close representation to the original bass line played by John McVie, and what a fantastic bass line it is! The two bass parts (treble clef and bass clef) are identical and between them, they suit guitar, contrabass guitar, electric bass or double bass. For a fuller sound in a large ensemble, one can place a guitar or two alongside a bass instrument. The standard across the parts varies from intermediate to advanced intermediate, so it's great for an ensemble of mixed abilities.I hope you enjoy this piece!

Instrumental Duet Guitar,Instrumental Duet - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.797814 By Captain & Tennille. By Toni Tennille. Arranged by Derek Hasted. Pop,Rock. Score and parts. 13 pages. Derek Hasted #6306437. Published by Derek Hasted (A0.797814). DO THAT TO ME ONE MORE TIME - GUITAR DUETFor Classical or Acoustic Guitar - sometimes it's erroneously listed here as Electric Guitar.Derek Hasted writes This fantastic melody deserves more fame than it gets, though when it first came out it was Captain and Tennille’s second No 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. My arrangement captures the three verses that feature in this piece, and also contains the instrumental break (originally on the lyricon), with most of the ornamentation (except for the big bends that the lyricon can do electronically). This arrangement is set in the same keys as the original, and modulates from C to G (for the instrumental) and then to D.The accompaniment fits nicely on guitar, and it’s ideal for an intermediate duo. With the exception of the instrumental break, which is taken by Guitar 1, neither guitar part comes out of first position all that much, and both parts use familiar chord shapes, whichever key the piece is in at that moment...The roles of tune and accompaniment change over at each verse, so there’s plenty of variety for the players and audience alike. This is one of those pieces that a concert audience will be humming all the way home...I hope you enjoy playing this piece!

The guitar seldom comes out of first position and uses familiar chord shapes. The flute part has a top G, but it can easily be replaced by another top E if the G is not rock solid. By the same token, some of the repeated notes can be replaced by a sustained note if you feel that makes for a more relaxed articulation. This is one of those pieces that a concert audience will be humming all the way home...I hope you enjoy playing this piece!

Piano - Digital Download SKU: A0.1071368 Arranged by Chris Cooke. Christian,Praise & Worship,Sacred. Accompaniment. Duration 4241. Chris Cooke #3004317. Published by Chris Cooke (A0.1071368). This book is a recording of the printed piano accompaniment book in this series. Besides accompanying solo or duet instruments, these recordings may also be used for group singing. There is a short introduction, and enough repeats of the verses in case you would like to play or sing them all! While these recordings contain multiple verses, the print version (also available on Sheet Music Plus) contains only one verse with no introduction. All hymns are in a good vocal range except Christ the Lord is Risen Today which is in F to accommodate a more accessible playing range. The only hymn not included in this recording (that occurs in the print book) is Great is Thy Faithfulness, since I only have print publication rights to this piece. This is one large file, containing all 34 accompaniments. For this  reason, I have notated the cue point, i.e. the time in the recording when each hymn occurs so they can be located more easily within this one-hour and 10-minute recording. For instance, the second hymn would be found at the 2-minute and 17-second time point. The full list of hymns, with their concert keys, cue points, and length of the introduction, is below: Abide with Me, C; 4-measure intro All Hail the Power of Jesus’ Name, E-flat; cue point: 0:2:17; 4-measure intro Am I A Soldier of the Cross; E-flat; cue point: 0:4:18; 4-measure intro Amazing Grace, E-flat; cue point: 0:5:33; 4-measure intro Blessed Assurance, B-flat; cue point: 0:8:11; 2-measure intro Blest Be the Tie That Binds, E-flat; cue point 0:10:19; 3-measure intro Christ the Lord is Risen Today, F; cue point: 0:12:12; 2-measure intro Come Thou Almighty King, E-flat; cue point: 0:14:36; 4-measure intro Come Thou Fount of Ev’ry Blessing, B-flat; cue point: 0:16:21;4-measure intro Count Your blessings, B-flat; cue point: 0:18:01; 4-measure intro Crown Him With Many Crowns, B-flat; cue point: 0:20:36; 4-measure intro Doxology, E-flat; cue point: 0:22:55; 4-measure intro For the Beauty of the Earth, C; cue point: 0:23:14; 4-measure intro God of Grace and God of Glory, F; cue point: 0:25:49; 2-measure intro Holy, Holy, Holy, B-flat; cue point: 0:27:39; 4-measure intro I Surrender All, C; cue point: 0:30:34; 2-measure intro In Christ There is No East or West, B-flat; cue point: 0:33:26;2-measure intro It is Well with My Soul, B-flat; cue point: 0:35:33; 3-measure intro Jesus Loves Me, B-flat; cue point: 0:36:50; 4-measure intro Jesus the Very Thought of Thee, F; cue point: 0:39:08; 2.75 measure intro Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee, C; cue point: 0:40:35; 4-measure intro Love Divine, All Loves Excelling, E-flat; cue point: 0:43:11; 4-measure intro My Country Tis of Thee, E-flat; cue point: 0:45:51; 4-measure intro O Sacred Head, Now Wounded, E-minor; cue point: 0:47:45; 4-measure intro O For A Thousand Tongues to Sing, F; cue point: 0:49:58; 4-measure intro Oh God, Our Help in Ages Past, B-flat; cue point: 0:51:00; 4-measure intro Onward Christian Soldiers, B-flat; cue point: 0:52:46; 4-measure intro Praise Him, Praise Him All Ye Little Children, B-flat; cue point:0:56:08; 4-measure intro Praise to the Lord, the Almighty, E-flat; cue point: 0:57:07; 4-measure intro Sweet Hour of Prayer, B-flat; cue point: 0:59:12; 4-measure intro Take My Life and Let It Be, E-flat; cue point: 1:02:22; 8-measure intro The Battle Hymn of the Republic, B-flat; cue point: 1:04:15; 2-measure intro What a Friend We Have in Jesus, C; cue point: 1:06:33; 4-measure intro Whisper a Prayer, E-flat; cue point: 1:09:12; 4-measure intro
