Brass Quintet Horn,Trombone,Trumpet,Tuba - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1463552 By Various. By W.C. Handy. Arranged by Will Corbin. Blues,Jazz,March. 22 pages. Will Corbin #1042277. Published by Will Corbin (A0.1463552). W.C. Handy's St. Louis Blues is an American classic. Jerry Gray, as a GI sergeant-musician during World War II, arranged it in march style for his boss, Glenn Miller, then a major and director of the Army Air Forces Orchestra. This is an adaptation of Gray's fabulous arrangement, taken down a step to put it in a friendlier key. It's arranged for two trumpets, horn, trombone and tuba. And it swings. If you want alternative instrumentation, please contact me at wilcor@aol.com.

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.575798 Composed by David Warin Solomons. 20th Century. Octavo. 5 pages. David Warin Solomons #2028255. Published by David Warin Solomons (A0.575798). Many years before Lloyd Webber's Cats I created my own setting for TS Eliot's Song of the Jellicles (from Old Possum's book of practical cats) The estate of T S Eliot would not let me use the poem itself as a choral piece.  So this is the choral version of the Jellicle music as a drinking song for SATB choir,  with new words by Jill Mitchell called Praise to the Vine Bring out the goblets! Pour the wine!  Praise to the vintage, red and white!  Salute to the harvest of the vine!  Banish sobriety! Welcome delight!  The performance is a live recording from a concert by Duodecimo.  Other (instrumental) versions of the Jellicle music which are available are: A duo for descant recorder and guitar (Jellicle Duo for recorder and guitar) A quartet for recorders (Jellicle Quartet for recorders) and A quartet for strings (Jellicle Catgut for string quartet).

Choral Choir (TTBB) - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1244630 By John van Gulik. By John van Gulik. Arranged by John van Gulik. Historic,Holiday,Patriotic. Octavo. 27 pages. John van Gulik #839583. Published by John van Gulik (A0.1244630). A moving remembrance of the young lives sacrificed in the First and Second World Wars defending our freedom. This is a setting to an original text by John van Gulik arranged for men's choir. The leaves on the ground are all broken and grayTheir color has gone taking glory awayOnset of winter will bury them allSuch is the season, the season of fall   Leaves of autumn, leaves of the fall   Millions of discarded parts of us all   Time will forget them, forget them it will   And yet they have fallen... The season of fallThe dead all all gone, we remember them stillLives given freely, buried under a hillResting in fields where the red poppies growMarkings are fading for those down belowCold sleeping life lays under the snowSlumbering gently while winter winds blowWaiting for springtime to finally comeMelting the cover, at last feel the sunVisions of future beyond paths of warHope that the world will see it no moreThe dead are not gone, just sleeping awayTo rise once again on that last dayLess now remembered except once a yearMemories are fading to soon disappearResting and waiting beneath the sodForgotten by living but still known to GodFor additional parts, accompaniment track, or other arrangements, contact me at vangulik.john@gmail.com or visit my website at https://jvgmusiconline.com.
