The song accompanies the scene where Moses’ mother,  Yocheved, attempts to save him from Pharaoh’s edict to have all the Hebrew children slain. His mother places him in a basket, sends him afloat down the Nile, just to end up at Pharaoh’s palace. Pharos’s wife finds the basket and raises baby Moses as her own. This beautiful song is sung by Moses’ mother in the animated film.

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.778341 Composed by PHILLIP BLISS. Arranged by Thomas R. Vozzella. Sacred. Octavo. 5 pages. Thomas R. Vozzella #4803003. Published by Thomas R. Vozzella (A0.778341). It is Well with My Soul whose words were written by Horatio G. Spafford. On November 22, 1873, this preacher and good friend of Mr. Bliss lost his four children in the depths of the Atlantic Ocean, as a result of a collision. Mr. Spafford had sent his wife and children ahead, promising to meet them in France, shortly. He wrote the verses in mid-Atlantic on his way over to join his bereaved wife. He asked Mr. Bliss to write the music for his verses. It was introduced publicly for the first time at a ministers' meeting in Chicago in November, 1876. One month later, it was well with Mr. Bliss's soul, as he was reunited with the Spafford children. From one of 46 booklets by Ed Reese in the Christian Hall of Fame series.

Organ - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.912462 Composed by Thomas R. Schadl. Contemporary,Instructional,Standards. Score. 8 pages. Thomas R. Schadl #514849. Published by Thomas R. Schadl (A0.912462). The Scherzo explores a variety of sections that have their own character. The first section is written in a North German toccata style where the opening measures are treated in a canonic manner and played in a series of thirds and sixths against the main theme stated in the pedal division; this compositional approach is somewhat reminiscent of the organ compositions of Dietrich Buxtehude (Prelude and Fugue in G Minor BUXWV 149). The second section is contrapuntal in nature and depicts a humorous moment; that moment may depict a comedy show or a circus event at a fair. Following that section is the recurrence of the main theme of the first movement. The fourth section is quiet in sound intensity and is the most chromatically oriented than other parts. Following that is a fugue, derived from the main theme of the first movement, and a transitional passage leading back to the recurring main theme. The work concludes triumphantly in the key of G Major. The Scherzo requires attention to articulation, phrasing and timing. This work is suitable for educational and recital uses: it introduces organ students to major works of Buxtehude and Johann S. Bach and many more composers; organists of various expertise may play the work to lighten up the audience's mood after listening to more difficult organ works. Let this work bring pleasure into your hearts and the listeners'. Enjoy it.

French Horn Solo - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.912494 Composed by Thomas R. Schadl. Classical,Contemporary. Individual part. 3 pages. Thomas R. Schadl #3877233. Published by Thomas R. Schadl (A0.912494). Written in two movements for trumpet, horn in F and organ, the work starts with a slower introduction that is written in the key of B major, the dominant key of E major. Moreover, the first movement has imitative passages that are present in all the three instruments. Following the first movement that is written in the 4/4 time, the next movement, composed in the 6/8 time and in E major, is performed gracefully in a style of a pastorale. Like the previous movement, the second part is contrapuntal but it differs in its extensive use of the dialogue between the horn and trumpet. In performing the sonata, there should be balance among the brass instruments and the organ in regard to sound intensity and the speed. The trumpet tends to overpower the horn in passages marked f or louder, and the organist may adjust the registrations to keep the sound from overpowering the other two instruments. If this piece were to be performed in large concert halls or churches, the time that takes air to leave the organ chest to the pipes may be longer. Choice of speed should be rehearsed carefully. The organ registration itself is merely a suggestion and should not be taken too literally due to the design of the organ and the acoustics of the hall or church. Sonata For Trumpet, Horn And Organ is suitable for concert use. This work may be performed at any time of the year, especially Christmas, Post-Easter and general use.
