Organ - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.912480 Composed by Thomas R. Schadl. Christian,Contemporary,Holiday,Sacred,Standards. Score. 7 pages. Thomas R. Schadl #2949227. Published by Thomas R. Schadl (A0.912480). Written in a style reminiscent to the fugues of J. S. Bach and Palestrina, this work is educational in that it explores how the main theme and the second theme are treated. The devices used include retrograde, inversion, augmented versions, and the alternation between subject and real answer. Fugue in D Major, being a majestic and uplifting in character, is suitable for memorial services, postludes, and for other occasions. In performing the work, the principal chorus would be a good choice of organ registration for the great division and a quieter registration for the swell or choir division. As the piece progresses towards the end, reed stops may be added to bring brilliance to the work.

Piano Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.912489 Composed by Thomas R. Schadl. Concert,Contemporary,Instructional,Standards. Score. 2 pages. Thomas R. Schadl #3569709. Published by Thomas R. Schadl (A0.912489). Andante on EGD For Piano is based on an EGD motive, and is organized in a six-note row, in a manner similar to the twelve-tone system Arnold Schoenberg (1874-1951) devised in the 1920s. With other note rows included in the piece, the work portrays an eerie atmosphere that one would associate with mystery plays and movies, such as The Twilight Zone. In performing the piece, care should be given to stressing the melodic lines.Structure of the six-note row:E     G D    D# G#  FC#   E B     C F   D F#   A E      F A# GF    G# D#    E A   F#C    D# A#    B E   C#D#  F# C#    D G  E E to E diagonal row                                         F to D# diagonal rowX0     E                                                      Y0 FX1     C# G                                                   Y1 G# DX2     F# E D                                                  Y2 D# F GX3     F A B  D#                                    Y3 D C A# F#X4     C G# E  C G#                                 Y4 G B F A C#X5     D# D# D#  F F F                            Y5 E E E E E EX6     F# A# E A# D                                       Y6 C# A D# B GX7    C# B A  G                                       Y7 F# G# A# DX8    D E F#                                                   Y8 F# D# C#X9    G C#                                                      Y9 C F#X10  E                                                          Y10 D#The purpose of writing this piece, based on EGD, is to show how a simple motive is expanded by applying various compositional techniques.

Organ - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.912506 Composed by Thomas R. Schadl. Concert,Contemporary,Easter,Spiritual,Standards. Score. 5 pages. Thomas R. Schadl #6519091. Published by Thomas R. Schadl (A0.912506). My inspiration for writing this music came from listening to Jehan Alain’s (1911-1940) organ piece CHORAL DORIEN. The work begins softly and builds up sound intensity until it reaches the climax, depicting the longing for joy and peace to come. After the climactic part of the piece is stated, the sound intensity begins to decrease and concludes in a major key. The work is suitable for recital purposes, and may also be performed in church-related events, such as the Lenten and Good Friday services. Organ registrations and tempo indications are only suggestions.

Organ - Digital Download SKU: A0.1068266 Composed by Louis Vierne. Arranged by Thomas R. Vozzella. Romantic Period,Sacred,Spiritual,Wedding. Full Performance. Duration 250. Thomas R. Vozzella #6758723. Published by Thomas R. Vozzella (A0.1068266). Sortie (Toccata) for Organ from Messe Basse. Vierne composed two organ masses – Messe basse op. 30 (Summer 1912) and Messe basse pour les défunts op. 62 (Winter 1934/35), both for organ and/or harmonium. These are glorious works filled with melodies, harmony and rhythmic interest historically found in French organ music. The difference between major works and these masses is that each movement within the mass is a few minutes long and serves a purpose during the mass, as certain movements contribute to the drama of the Eucharist. This piece will be an all around pleaser, is fun to play - with the feel of a French Toccata. This edition was created in celebration of Vierne’s 150th birthday.

Vozzella #538849. Published by Thomas R. Vozzella (A0.933091). This arrangement of Elgar's, Pomp and Circumstance March, No. 1, a perennial favorite for graduation ceremonies, is here abridged for use as a postlude, recital encore, etc. Pomp and Circumstance Marches, Op. 39, are a series of five marches for orchestra composed by Sir Edward Elgar. The first four were published between 1901 and 1907, when Elgar was in his forties; the fifth was published in 1930, a few years before his death; and a sixth, compiled posthumously from sketches, was published in 1956 and in 2005–2006.
