Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1081199 By Sammy Davis Jr. By Walter Marks. Arranged by David Lee Gingras and John E. Dosher. Broadway,Jazz,Musical/Show. Score. 3 pages. DAVID LEE GINGRAS #685336. Published by DAVID LEE GINGRAS (A0.1081199). I've Gotta Be Me is a popular song that appeared in the Broadway musical Golden Rainbow, which starred Steve Lawrence and Eydie Gormé. It opened in New York City at the Shubert Theatre on February 4, 1968, and closed just under a year later, on January 11, 1969. The music and lyrics for the musical were composed and written by Walter Marks in 1967. Sammy Davis Jr. recorded the song in 1968 while the musical was still running on Broadway, altering the title slightly to I've Gotta Be Me, and released it as a single late in the year. This version features a root-based chord blocking that John and I have used in a number of our arrangements and we incorporated a smooth left-hand bass line to keep the rhythm going - we hope you like what we've done with the song!

Organ - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1458588 Composed by Charles Austin Miles. Arranged by KATHLEEN HOLYOAK. Christian,Easter,Praise & Worship,Religious,Sacred. Score. 4 pages. Kathleen Holyoak #1037515. Published by Kathleen Holyoak (A0.1458588). This famous and beloved old song, written by Charles Austin Miles in 1912, is often sung at funerals and was inspired by John, Chapter 20 in the Bible where Mary goes to the Garden Easter morning and finds the tomb of Jesus empty. Mary is distraught but then she hears a voice and realizes it is the voice of Jesus and not the gardener.  Upon many requests, the arranger, Kathleen Holyoak, has written this as an organ solo, having previously published it for vocal solo and instrumental versions.  This is one title every organist needs to include in their library or organ music.  The words are inspiring and can be printed in a program as follows:I come to the garden alonewhile the dew is still on the roses, and the voice I hear falling on my earthe Son of God discloses. And he walks with me, and he talks with me,and He tells me I am his own;and the joy we share as we tarry there, none other has ever known.

Recorder - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.736659 Composed by Eliot Daniel. Arranged by Dennis Ruello. Contemporary. Recorder Ensemble. 7 pages. Chicory Music #6679345. Published by Chicory Music (A0.736659). On October 15, 1951, the very first episode of the I Love Lucy show aired on CBS and became the most watched TV show in the U.S. for four of its seven-year run. Fun trivia about the opening theme song is that during the first season the show opened with their sponsor Philip Morris’ animation of stick figure cartoons of Lucy and Desi climbing down a pack of Philip Morris cigarettes. It was scored with Ferde Grofé’s Jr. The Grand Canyon Suite theme (a composition from 1931).From the second season onwards, the I Love Lucy signature tune we all know so well became the main theme, and one of the most recognizable pieces of music on the planet. It was written by composer Eliot Daniel who cranked it out in an afternoon as a favor to his old Coast Guard buddy Jess Oppenheimer, the show’s producer. Since Daniel still had another year under his exclusive contract to Fox, he asked Oppenheimer to keep his name out of it. Consequently his name does not appear on first or the second season TV credits for what became one of the most popular TV themes. Later, Daniel did seek credit and received royalties from syndicated reruns for the rest of his life. The lyrics were written by Harold Adamson for an episode in the third season in which Lucy believes everyone has forgotten her birthday. So of course Ricky saves the day after a near disaster. This arrangement for Descant / Soprano Recorder Quartet remains faithful to the original.Performance Time Approx. 1 minute 25 seconds

E-Flat Clarinet,Piano - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.844638 Composed by Phil Beaman. 20th Century,Pop,Romantic Period,Wedding. Score and part. 9 pages. Phil Beaman #4414741. Published by Phil Beaman (A0.844638). Vintage pop romance! This accompanied instrumental solo is a Theme and Variations. For the Theme I used an extract from the 1906 hit pop song I Love You Truly by Carrie Jacobs-Bond, a celebrated female composer at the turn of century.  With each variation the melody and rhythm evolve further from the original Theme. The tempo also increases slightly as you progress to each new variation. The first variation adds chromatic embellishment, the second variation syncopates the rhythm, and the third variation uses triplet patterns. More life is added to your romance with each variation! Each person who has heard this piece hears something different, but in all of them it conjures up vintage courting; and most say it would fit a soundtrack to an early silent movie. So, at heart, this piece is still a turn of the century love ballad, but livened up and fused with subtle influences from other styles and periods.  Perfect for weddings where you are trying to please everyone; a bit pop, a bit classical, and totally romantic!Works equally well in a classroom or lesson studying Theme and Variations. The easy-going melody only has a range of just over an octave. Its beauty and technique suits it for any recital as well.6 minutes with repeats, 3 minutes without; 6 page score; 3 page solo partRecording is of the Cello/Piano version and doesn't take the repeats.
