Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.779670 Composed by Arthur Le Clerq. Arranged by Kim Kirkman. Broadway,Contemporary,Musical/Show,Traditional. Score. 4 pages. Kim Kirkman #6697499. Published by Kim Kirkman (A0.779670). This is a wonderful old comedy song.I have put it into the key that Tessie O'Shea sings it (Ab major)I have put in the first verse that Tessie sings, plus the spoken part. I have changed some of the words of the spoken part to update them.I have then constructed a third verse from other verses that Le Clerq wrote. To sing it exactly like Tessie please repeat first verse.Words:Verse:For years a fairy queen I've bin', For years I foiled the demon king. But alas, I'm getting on, The years have flown somehow, And I feel that Fairy Snowdrop isn't wanted now. Chorus One:Nobody loves a fairy when she's forty. Nobody loves a fairy when she's old. She may still have her magic power, But that is not enough, They like their bit of magic from a younger bit of fluff. When once your silver star has lost its glitter, And your tinsel looks like rust instead of gold. Your fairy days are ending when your wand has started bending. Noone loves a fairy when she's old.Spoken:T'was I who found the magic wand, I will not tell you where.T'was I who found young Tinkerbell, her head was full of airI’ve been a fairy of the flowers, and fairy daffodils,I’ve been a fairy of the wind, and suffer from it still! In certain covered valley hills I go down to the glenBeen loved by all the children and run after by the men. Huh!Noone could touch me at me splits, me splits were all the rage,Until the night woodman left his chopper on the stage, what a mess! Verse 2:Nobody loves a fairy when she's forty. Nobody loves a fairy when she's old. As far as I can see they try to push you off the map, When once your wand has withered and your wings refuse to flap. When you have lost your little fairy dimples, And the mothholes in your dress let in the cold, It seems that they would sooner listen to a blinkin' crooner, Noone loves a fai-y when she's old!

Full Orchestra - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1205401 Composed by Ben Clapton. Classical,Contemporary. Score and parts. 103 pages. Ben Clapton #803587. Published by Ben Clapton (A0.1205401). An Orchestral Fanfare, written for the Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, Perth. 2 Flutes (2nd doubling Piccolo), 2 Oboes, 2 Bb Clarinet, 2 Bassoon, 4 French Horns, 2 Trumpets in Bb, 2 Trombones, 1 Tuba, 4 Percussion (Timpani, Bass Drum, Snare Drum, Cymbals), Harp, StringsComposer's notes:2022 was a year that sparked inspiration for me. I am not talking about just one spark either, but a series that beautifully led me to the creation of my piece. After seeing the 2022 MetSO program it was evident that it lightly using the Brass players, and I knew they were feeling a bit underutilised. Which sparked the first idea in my mind to write a piece that would take full advantage of their skills, and heavily use brass instruments. The program coincided with the 45th Anniversay of the Orchestra which started it life as the Karrinyup Symphony Orchestra. Rekindling the orchestra’s relationship with the City of Stirling and returning to the City of Stirling as a rehearsal venue in 2023, was another spark of inspiration which led me towards the piece’s naming… the ‘Karrinyup Fanfare’. The last spark of inspiration was a query inside my mind. The opening of the piece contrasts two somewhat conflicting meanings of the word Karrinyup. During an Aboriginal Studies unit, I discovered that Karrinyup is a Noongar word that translates to “the place where there are spidersâ€. However, this differs from the City of Stirling official meaning of the name Karrinyup on the website. It states the word means “the place where Kangaroos drinkâ€, possibly because it sounds much more pleasant and doesn’t inspire the fear that spiders often do. It was this contrary interpretation of the word ‘Karrinyup’ which provided the final spark of inspiration I needed for this composition. You see, when you listen to the opening, the theme jumps up and down through the horns, and represents the Kangaroo – Yongka. Whilst as the fanfare continues, you will notice the second theme – the crawling strings represent the spider – Kar. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did creating it. May it, and this new year, spark inspiration for you.

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.701653 Composed by Kevin G. Pace (ASCAP), Michael Young. Christian,Praise & Worship,Sacred. Octavo. 2 pages. Kevin G. Pace #3241499. Published by Kevin G. Pace (A0.701653). An original hymn with text by Michael Young below.YouTube video: https://youtu.be/IYJ1IZr-6tQ1. In Eden, then in Canaan's land,Then in Israel was heard. The voice of God, both still and grand,Prophets wrote His holy word. The Stick of Judah lent its voice,Witnessing of Christ to come,And making all who read rejoiceIt was the part, but not the sum.2. First in a stable as a child, On the shores of Galilee,Some heard Christ’s words, pure, undefiled,Many wrote what they did see.The Stick of Judah grew againWitnessing the Christ who came. How once our Savior dwelt with men,And cleansed mankind of sin and blame.3. In wilderness and on the sea,And then in the Promised Land. Both Nephi and his seed were free,And did God’s grace understand. The Stick of Joseph then sprang up,Witnessing of Christ as well,Of him who drained the bitter cup,Who redeemed their souls from hell.4. The Stick of Judah is one voice, The Stick of Joseph unitesIts witness, and gives us the choice, Of heeding both these two lights. Two witness of Christ who lives, Who came and will soon again, Until that time, His words He gives, None may know the hour when.

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.991352 Composed by Greg Wilson. Christian,Jewish. Octavo. 14 pages. Gregory Wilson #2930197. Published by Gregory Wilson (A0.991352). Baruch HaBa is hebrew for Blessed is He who Comes... (in the name of the LORD). This is a quote from Psalm 118:26 - (Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the LORD). This is also what the people were quoting when they welcomed Jesus into Jerusalem in Matthew 21:9. Later, in Matthew 23:38, as Jesus laments of Jerusalem he uses this same phrase, saying Behold, your house is being left to you desolate! 39 For I say to you, from now on you will not see Me until you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’ So this was after they had already welcomed him, and now I guess are about to betray Him. Some people thinks this means Jesus will not return the 2nd time til the Jewish people say Blessed is Jesus who comes in the name of the LORD! So this song celebrates Jesus first coming, and invites his next coming.

Choral Choir (SATB divisi) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.841250 Composed by Chris Gordon. Contemporary. Octavo. 18 pages. Cool Wind Music Digital #3029087. Published by Cool Wind Music Digital (A0.841250). A setting of a very powerful poem by English poet, Ted Hughes, about the onset of autumn in an English (Yorkshire) garden and the surrounding countryside.  It is full of pathos and passion, harmony and dissonance, chaos and peace - just like English weather! This is a very individual and innovative choral setting of Hughes' poem which is, itself, rich in 'meaty' metaphor and colour - and the composer is a vegetarian! It evokes a savage Nature within a savage landscape where humans and animals compete for space and for food. It is October, the fields and woods and gardens of rural Yorkshire are readying themselves for the cold and desolation (and despair) of winter which isn't far away in time. 'A glass, half-filled with wine, left out(side) To the dark heaven all night, by dawn Has dreamed a premonition of ice across its eye as if the ice-age had begun its heave.'   That is only two and a half stanzas but you see from these lines that there are veiled threats of (Nature's) violence in the heavy tread of the poet's slowly-building angst over what is happening in the surrounding countryside - and his fear grows, and his awe grows, with every line. There is even fear underlining the very last line: 'And now it is about to start.' Winter is creeping closer and closer towards the house and it will not be pleasant to experience!I have tried to instil a little of this in the music which keeps skidding from consonance to dissonance and back to consonance. Sometimes the dissonance piles up, like snow driven by the wind piles up into deep banks; sometimes the music relaxes into stillness and calm (painted in tonal music) like a crisp, mild late autumn or early winter's day when the sun warms the landscape and life appears bearable, tolerable. I hope this adds to the song's 'charm'. It wasn't easy to write: sometimes the right music was elusive. The music ends with the word 'October' repeated three times, with voices overlapping in a little canon. This conjures up the wistful feelings of the poet as he looks out onto a peaceful scene, soon to be filled with all manner of 'natural violence', while his inner peace will soon be shattered by the mayhem about to be unleashed around him.Setting Ted Hughes is no easy task. It is for choirs and choirmasters to judge if I have succeeded in conveying the 'sense and sensibility' of a classic 20th century English poem. The price is for one copy: please purchase a sufficient number of scores if you intend to perform this work. Brass Ensemble Horn,Trombone,Trumpet,Tuba - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1130062 Composed by English Folk Song by way of American Appalachians. Arranged by F. Leslie Smith. Celtic,Children,Folk,Irish,Traditional,Wedding. Score and parts. 28 pages. Sweetwater Brass Press #730439. Published by Sweetwater Brass Press (A0.1130062). The origins of this lullaby can be traced back to 15th-century England. Pioneers from the British Isles brought it with them to the American Appalachians. Written in three verses, its lyrics tell of four seemingly impossible gifts the singer gave my love. The first verse describes each gift: cherry that has no stone, a chicken that has no bone. a story that has no end and a baby with no cryin'. The second verse poses the riddle: how can such items exist? The third provides the answers: A cherry when it's bloomin', it has no stone. A chicken when it's pippin', it has no bone. The story of I love you, it has no end. A baby when it's sleepin', has no cryin'. This Riddle Song has enjoyed somewhat of a revival since mid-20th century, making appearances in various movies, TV shows and recordings. In 1956, Jerry Livingston and Paul Francis adapted The Riddle Song tune, added an original bridge and created new lyrics; Johnny Mathis recorded it as The Twelfth of Never, giving the haunting melody probably its greatest surge in popularity. This arrangement is in G major and opens with an upbeat introduction. For the first statement of the melody, tempo slows and Trumpets alternate the lead. On the second time through, tempo speeds up slightly and tuba takes the lead. For the third, tempo is back to the opening speed and Horn in F plays the melody. On the fourth time through, Trumpets and Trombone frame the tune in a call-and-response form. In the fifth, Trombone takes the lead. In the sixth and final statement, Horn in F and Trombone play melody at half speed while Trumpets play a fairly complicated counterpoint (at what may seem like double speed!). This, until the last phrase (A baby when it's sleepin'), when the melody switches over to Trumpets and Trombone takes the counterpoint. Trumpet 1 plays its A above the staff a number of times. Tuba's lowest note is its F down below the staff. Otherwise, notes for all instruments are well within normal playing range. Because of the recommended tempo, the countermelody at measures 68-83 could be problematic for Trumpets and Trombone and may require a little extra work. Completed in 2022, performance time runs about 3 minutes, 42 seconds. The arranger, Les Smith, will be happy to provide substitute parts (for example, treble clef baritone for trombone) at no charge. He would like to receive your suggestions, comments, corrections and criticisms. For more arrangements by Les, enter Sweetwater Brass Press (without the quotation marks) in the Sheet Music Plus or Sheet Music Direct search box. (Also, purchase of this piece entitles you to your choice of another of his arrangements at no charge; send a copy of your purchase receipt directly to him at lessmith61@bellsouth.net.)

Remember - An original composition with music and lyrics by Hannah BaldozDedicated to someone special. I hope you will always remember that you are loved.Lyrics: 'Don't forget that I still love you,' was all I could say. I remember being scared to let you go that day. But I, I hope... I hope you know that you are more than enough. I pray you'll find yourself and never give up. I hope above all else you'll remember you are loved. Life is tough and you have been hurt. Everything seems wrong. Just hang in there. You're a fighter. I know you are strong. I hope you chase your dreams and always go far. I pray you'll never forget who you are. I hope that you'll remember how loved you are. Maybe for now this is the end, but if someday we meet again, know in me you'll still have a friend. And even though we fell through, I'm thankful for whatever once was true. You changed my life and I will always remember you. Even though my heart is broken, I'll remember you. I still see the good in you and I hope you do too.© 2015 by Hannah Baldoz. All rights reserved. For more music by Hannah Baldoz visit https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCNhkUVEv4QBCytIbBIPG6xg

Here are the words, if you want to sing along, or just enjoy listening. He leadeth me! O blessed thought! O words with heav’nly comfort fraught Whate’er I do, where’er I be, Still ‘tis God’s hand that leadeth me. Chorus: He leadeth me, he Leadeth me, By His own hand He leadeth me, His faithful foll’wer I would be, For by His hand He leadeth me. Sometimes ‘mid scenes of deepest gloom,Sometimes where Eden’s bowers bloom,By waters still,’er troubled sea, Still ‘tis His hand that leadeth me! Repeat Chorus after each stanza. Lord, I would clasp Thy hand in mine, Nor ever murmur nor repine; Content, whatever lot I see, since ‘tis my God that leadeth me! And when my task on earth is done, When by Thy grace the vict’ry’s won, E’en death’s cold wave I will not flee, Since God thru Jordan leadeth me. BMI www.patholmberg.com.

Published by Ron Sheffer (A0.787121). a somewhat melancholic piece. the atonal mood begins quietly, gradually taking control in increasing rhythm. a ray of sunshine casts its light with a bird like call surrounded by jazzy, warm harmony, calming momentarily, until unexpectedly the mind and body give way to the unforeseen atonal clusters and harsh rhythm that clash violently on the emotional shores. after getting what they came for the stormy waters gradually recede, making way for the body to calm down again and eventually see the (still dimmed) light at the end of the anxiety.https://youtu.be/7ljB5Pjv3JA
