Piano Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1131811 Composed by Dalva R. R. Barbosa. Film/TV,Pop,Rock. Score. 6 pages. Dalva Regina Ribeiro Barbosa #732042. Published by Dalva Regina Ribeiro Barbosa (A0.1131811). Everybody Deserves Somebody to Love is a musical story in which two characters, who work together, are at a joyful party, with lots of dancing and drinking. Both are in love with each other but social, family, and professional issues prevent them from getting together. However, one of the characters absorbed by the joy of the party (too much to drink, maybe) decides to insist in the relationship. The other character is hesitant and afraid to face such challenge. At the end of the song they decide to take the chance. The piece is structured in a rondó form with the following parts that I called: Introduction (I); A; B; C; I; A; D; A; C; I; A. Imagine a rock and habanera cake with Scarlatti syrup. The layers are: A: An invitation. They say phrases like: “Come to me because I need you nowâ€. B: Expression of pure desire with phrases such as: Hey! I can Ìt control myself now. B could be called A’. C: In a syncopated rhythm is argumentation. One party is trying to convince the other about assuming their relationship singing like that: “Everybody deserves somebody to love. I can help you to carry on. Just give your life a second chanceâ€. D: Is a moment of reflection. One of the characters is at greater risk and says: I´m afraid, love hurts sometimes. It won´t be so easy to start a new life now.â€.

Concert Band - Blasorchester - Harmonie. With optional Choir (SATB) (not present in the score). Score and parts. Duration 3'42''. Published by Lorenzo Bocci. Here's to You is a song by Ennio Morricone and Joan Baez, released in 1971 as part of the soundtrack of the film Sacco & Vanzetti, directed by Giuliano Montaldo. The song is a tribute to two anarchists of Italian origin, Nicola Sacco and Bartolomeo Vanzetti who were sentenced to death by a United States court in the 1920s. The lyrics for Here's to You make use of a statement attributed to Vanzetti by Philip D. Strong, a reporter for the North American Newspaper Alliance, who visited Vanzetti in prison in May 1927, three months before his execution.    «If it had not been for these things, I might have lived out my life talking at street corners to scorning men. I might have died, unmarked, unknown, a failure. Now we are not a failure. This is our career and our triumph. Never in our full life we could have hoped to do such work for tolerance, for justice, for man's understanding of man as we now do by accident. Our words—our lives—our pains—nothing! The taking of our lives—lives of a good shoemaker and a poor fish peddler—all! That last moment belongs to us—that agony is our triumph!.»Here's to you, Nicola and BartRest forever here in our heartsThe last and final moment is yoursThat agony is your triumph..

Kevin G. Pace #930154. Published by Kevin G. Pace (A0.1345216). A beautiful, sacred, Christmas hymn.  Music by Kevin G. Pace.  Text by Mary Ann W. Snowball.Text:On my road to Bethlehem, I don’t hear new angels sing.I am not a shepherd tending flocks in early Spring.I don’t see a brilliant star in the darkened sky,But I long to see a King . . . a King I won’t deny.On my road to Bethlehem, I will sing a heav’n-sent song.I will make great haste in spreading news so all belong.I will search for constant light on a darkened earth.I will witness sacred life from Jesus’ holy birth. On my road to Bethlehem, as I walk in paths He shows,I’ll declare my witness of his truths to which I’m prone.I will find the light of Christ shining far above,Finally I’ll reach his side . . . a manger filled with love.Chorus after the first two verses:On my road to Bethlehem, searching for the King,I will follow sacred Light and the life He brings.Chorus after the final verse:On my road to Bethlehem, as I find the King,I will feel his sacred love . . . love He freely brings.
