SKU: A0.782212

Composed by Tomas Victoria. Arranged by James Haynor. Praise & Worship,Renaissance,Sacred. Score and parts. 13 pages. James Haynor #3549045. Published by James Haynor (A0.782212).

Tomás Luis de Victoria (sometimes translated as da Vittoria; c. 1548 – 27 August 1611) was the most famous composer in 16th-century Spain, and was one of the most important composers of the Counter Reformation, along with Palestrina and Orlando di Lasso. Victoria was not only a composer, but also an accomplished organist and singer as well as a Catholic priest. However, he preferred the life of a composer to that of a performer.

Vere Languores is a charming work that would add much to any concert or recital. It would be playable by a good high school or university quartet.
