The text is probably most known from the choral setting by Sergei Rachmaninoff.My original version was composed in 2016 for the male choir Zero8, based in Stockholm, Sweden, before their trip to the annual Easter Festival in Moscow, Russia. The piece was later recorded and included on their 2017 album Mes très chers frères.In connection with the publication of the piece, I have made some minor adjustments and added an English translation of the lyrics.
