Alto Saxophone Duet Alto Saxophone - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.588479 Composed by Traditional. Arranged by David McKeown. Folk,Hanukkah,Jewish,World. 2 scores. 6 pages. David McKeown #6017103. Published by David McKeown (A0.588479). 7.40pm is a traditional Russian Jewish tune, often performed by Klezmer musicians. This version is arranged as a duet for two Alto Saxophones. It isn’t completely clear where the title 7.40pm comes from. One interpretation is that 7.40pm was the time the Odessa tram conductors finished work and danced to this tune. But there are versions titled 7.40am which may refer to the time of Jewish early morning prayers. Whatever the origin, there are several Russian recordings of 7.40pm that predate the 1917 revolution.7.40pm is simply arranged in a key and range best suited to the instruments. After a slow and expressively beginning, the melody switches to dance tempo.  7.40pm is suitable for players at an intermediate level and above. With a performance time of a little over three minutes, this version of 7.40pm is perfect for recital and concert performances, both formal and informal. Easy Piano - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1138014 Composed by Various. Arranged by Nicholas Palmer, ASCAP. Christmas,Holiday,Instructional,Religious,Traditional. Score. 35 pages. Nicholas D Palmer #738288. Published by Nicholas D Palmer (A0.1138014). Twelve traditional carols have been transcribed and arranged for adult piano students who are in their first few months of playing the piano and reading music. Children will be able to play all the melodies and most of the two-part arrangements without physical strain, but there are other piano methods designed specifically for young pianists’ needs that were not taken into consideration for this collection. The carols come in two versions, one with melody only and the other with an independent left hand part. Many of the melody-only scores are able to be played with just one hand position. For the two-part scores, both hands will need to shift. The left hand parts have been written so that there will be no more than five adjacent ascending or descending notes before the direction of the line changes, allowing for just small shifts in finger or hand placement. Look for more collections of carols arranged for beginning players at this same site. In this collection: Angels we have heard on high Away in a manger God rest ye merry, gentlemen Hark! The herald angels sing Joy to the world O come, all ye faithful O come, O come Emmanuel O little town of Bethlehem (Redner) O little town of Bethlehem (Kingsfold) Silent night The first nowell What child is this?

Bass Trombone,Tenor Trombone - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1288982 Composed by Charles Ives. Arranged by Marc Williams. 19th Century,Christmas. 18 pages. Gordon Cherry #879828. Published by Gordon Cherry (A0.1288982). In 1897 Charles Ives adapted the Traditional Christmas Carol Adeste Fidelis as a Prelude for Organ. He suggests a solo instrument to play the melody line and also mentions in his notes that there should be a mood of distant sounds from a Sabbath horizon.Marc Williams has beautifully arranged this unique sounding adaptation of the traditional carol (Ives is up to his old tricks with lots of dissonance, plus turning the melody upside down) for 10-part Trombone Choir of advanced intermediate level.
