What do you do when you have an unusual ensemble? Arrange something specially for them! The Irish Washerwoman is a traditional Irish folk song which is so old that no one knows who wrote it. Its melody is familiar to many people because of its wide use over many many years. This arrangement is for an ensemble with an experienced viola and cello section, but a violin and double bass section that are still learning. This upbeat arrangement is perfect for beginning musicians to perform in school or even in competitions.
