 Tributum pays homage to the great music of Ireland and Scotland, with lyrical and memorable themes throughout creating a dialogue between the chamber orchestra and the traditional pipes of Ireland, the Uilleann Pipes and the Great Highland Bagpipes. In ‘Tributum,’ Avant masterfully blends ethnic Celtic instruments with symphony orchestra to create a wonderfully moving work. WEDDING SERIES - a set of popular songs and wedding standards that I have arranged for years. The formations are varied, from duos to orchestras with choir. The majority are mixed/flexible sextets in which some instruments can be replaced and the ensembles can be totally changed. Some arrangements have shortened versions. These options are provided in my catalogue.

GAME OF THRONES THEME (with Uilleann pipes) - the solo instrument can be replaced by a violin, which should be played sliding and without vibrato, with the bow very close to the bridge, in order to simulate the rustic and unique sound of the uilleann pipes, a traditional Irish instrument used by the composer on the series' soundtrack.

This traditional Irish folk song, with lyrics byPatrick Joseph McCall (1861 - 1919), is set to an early 16th Century marching tune. It celebrates the defeat of an army of 3,000
English soldiers, by Fiach MacHugh O'Byrne at the Battle of Glenmalure, during the Second Desmond Rebellion on August 25th, 1580.

The arrangement is for a folksy ensemble of voice, harp, uilleann pipes, fiddle, bass, and accordion.
