LYRICS IN ENGLISH (a gross translation): Elegy by Marin Sorescu Mom, the first snow, It's starting to fall on you, You listen to the gust of wind, Hidden in one word. The whole earth is falling apart, but does it go Beyond, mother? Where does the matter go From the place of a flower-like cross? Does harder follow after just hard? Do people also die in their after-life world? And who cries about these new sudden deaths without any disease? You wanted to know everything, As you are the Source for the verb „to be”, You who gave birth in torment, I homage you with this snow, Sanctifying with a sacred chant of mud, The too-many of your seals. This piece is part of my 3rd officially released audio album called My Chamber Music - vol. 3 (The Botanical Garden) (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MXRO-BiYU9s&list=OLAK5uy_kBUtAVDyq6z2tw41BOOHfETLxoTpLS4ac) which is entirely composed by me and interpreted by Note Performer 3 (the only Artificial Intelligence-based playback engine for musical notation worldwide). Have a nice, inspired audition!

String Orchestra - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.886673 Composed by Panagiotis Theodossiou. 20th Century,Concert,Contemporary,Standards. Score and parts. 63 pages. Panagiotis Theodossiou #3073729. Published by Panagiotis Theodossiou (A0.886673). Theme and Variations, for string orchestra (2005). The work is written especially for the composer’s final composition diploma and has been his second attempt to write a work in a large scale (the first was a cello concerto - fantasia). The theme, on which ten variations lead to the grandiose finale, is written by a composer’s good friend, Nikos Drelas. The strict polyphonic writing of the earlier serial works as well as the free homophonic style of the last almost tonic are here altogether in a almost progressive idiom. The programmatic nature of this composition coexists with the absolute musical sound form. Titles of variations like Waltz funebre or Jazz Polka, in an austere musical text give the point for a new direction in composer’s creative thinking. Parts of the work have been performed by Philothei - Psychico Youth Orchestra under the direction of the composer at Benetatou Cultural Center in October 2014.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yFJX5DXQaiAhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ASIC4x8BV_4&t=2shttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ijsl8qz8Q5Qhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LiitDuH4wCkhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YeVUcJUIbFA&t=2s

String Ensemble,String Quintet - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.575843 Composed by David Warin Solomons. 20th Century. Score and parts. 29 pages. David Warin Solomons #2028773. Published by David Warin Solomons (A0.575843). This is one of sequence of string quintets (score and parts). The movements are: 1 - Marie for shame, a sprightly number encouraging Marie to get out of bed and enjoy the day. It is inspired by the poem Marie vous estes paresseuse by Ronsard. 2 - Nocturne represents Marie going back to sleep! Possibly my most indulgent piece. 3 - Camp David is klezmer in style and somewhat camp, it is based on a Yiddish folk song - ikh bin a meidel in de joren. 4 - Blue Boar Blue is based on a poem by a friend who lived in Blue Boar quad (Christ Church Oxford) and laments the fact he has to stay in and study while he is actually looking forward to taking his girlfriend out punting on the river In each case, the ideal positioning of the instruments is: cello 1, violin 1, viola, violin 2, cello 2 The pdf file contains the score and parts. I thought it might be useful also to provide all scores together, so that is also available under the title Sweet Suite for string quintet The sound sample is an electronic preview I have also made videos for each movement, which can be seen on youtube: Marie for shame http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H5yvuM4G_Bo Nocturne http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mo0Iznzqr1Q Camp David http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Nxl3W7opYA Blue Boar Blue http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h_Lry6DZgk8.
