Jean-Francois Dandrieu (1682 - 1738) was an influential French composer, he was student of Moreau. He was appointed the organist at St. Merry and later accepted same duties at St. Barthélemy. In 1721, Dandrieu assumed a very important position of the Royal chapel organist. Highly acclaimed as a harpsichord composer, Dandrieu composed a great number of works for the instrument including suites and trio sonatas.
