Instrumental Duet Instrumental Duet,Viola,Violin - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.590836 Composed by David McKeown. African,Folk,Holiday,Love,Spiritual,World. Score and parts. 5 pages. David McKeown #6246267. Published by David McKeown (A0.590836). حب (Hubb, Arabic for Love), is a beautiful original composition by David McKeown, arranged as a duet for one Violin and one Viola, and is one of series of pieces celebrating Love in different languages around the world. This duet is inspired by the Andalusi music of the Maghreb. The music is thought to have originated in Muslim Spain a thousand years ago and spread across North Africa in the following centuries. The music is set to the ancient Muwasha poetry, often with secular themes such as love. Andalusi music remains popular today, especially in Morocco, and has influenced many other forms of Arab music. ØØ¨ aims to capture the melody and spirit of this timeless music.حب is written for players at an advanced intermediate standard and upwards. The preamble is in free time, like an improvisation, followed by the melody and instrumental interludes in a typical ten beat cycle. حب has a performance time of around three minutes. Piano,Viola - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.528437 Composed by Johannes Brahms. Arranged by Diego Marani. Classical,Concert,Instructional,Romantic Period,Standards. Score and part. 9 pages. Diego Marani #6014317. Published by Diego Marani (A0.528437). The Hungarian Dances (German: Ungarische Tänze) by Johannes Brahms (WoO 1), are a set of 21 lively dance tunes based mostly on Hungarian themes, completed in 1879. They are among Brahms's most popular works and were the most profitable for him. The better-known Hungarian Dances include Nos. 1 and 5, the latter of which was based on the csárdás Bártfai emlék (Memories of Bártfa) by Hungarian composer Béla Kéler, which Brahms mistakenly thought was a traditional folksong. This arrangement for viola with piano accompaniment reflects faithfully the original.
