Violin Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1135921 Composed by Johann Sebastian Bach. Arranged by Shawn Boucké. Baroque,Classical,Instructional. 2 pages. Shawn Boucke #735944. Published by Shawn Boucke (A0.1135921). This violin version of Bourrée from Bach Cello Suite 3 has many of the original bowings written from the oldest available version of the suite written down by Anna Magdalena Bach. I have added a few alterations to make the bowing clear as well as closer to what a performer might have done at the time. I have left out dynamic and tempo marking to be more accurate of an arrangement. The performer should take it upon themselves to add whatever phrasing or dynamic changes seem fit. This arrangement was also made for my own students who would like to perform the suites unaccompanied (like the original work) for festivals such as Solo & Ensemble.
