Brass Quintet Horn,Trombone,Trumpet,Tuba - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1393584 By BeBe and CeCe Winans. By Buffy Sainte-Marie, Jack Nitzche, and Will Jennings. Arranged by Peet du. Film/TV. 12 pages. Peet du Toit #977042. Published by Peet du Toit (A0.1393584). Up Where We Belong is a song written by Jack Nitzsche, Buffy Sainte-Marie and Will Jennings that was recorded by Joe Cocker and Jennifer Warnes for the 1982 film An Officer and a Gentleman. Warnes was recommended to sing a song from the film because of her previous soundtrack successes, and she had the idea for the song to be a duet that she would perform with Cocker. Jennings selected various sections of the score by Nitzsche and Sainte-Marie in creating the structure of the song and added lyrics about the struggles of life and love and the obstacles in the way that we attempt to dodge. It was released in July of that year to coincide with the release of the film. The song reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in the US and topped the charts in several other countries. It also sold more than one million copies in the US and was recognized by the Recording Industry Association of America as one of the Songs of the Century. Cocker and Warnes were awarded the Grammy for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals, and Nitzsche, Sainte-Marie, and Jennings won both the Academy Award and Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song.In 1984, the gospel duo BeBe & CeCe Winans recorded a religious variation of the song that received airplay on Christian radio stations, and their remake in 1996 earned them a GMA Dove Award. Various versions of the song have also been used to parody the final scene of the film on television shows such as Family Guy, The Simpsons, and South Park. The fact that the song is a ballad was seen as a misstep in Cocker's career, which had been built on performing rock and soul. The lyrics tell of the struggles of life and love and the obstacles in the way that we attempt to dodge..

Bass Guitar TAB - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1478384 By Ludwig van Beethoven. By Ludwig van Beethoven. Arranged by Arranged By: Tracy DeanMcCallum. Classical. Score. 3 pages. Tracy Dean McCallum #1055768. Published by Tracy Dean McCallum (A0.1478384). https://tracymccallum.com/Für Elise: Bass Guitar Transcription with Tab and PianoFür Elise, originally for solo piano by Ludwig van Beethoven, can be adapted for a unique duet between bass guitar and piano. Here's a description of a possible transcription:Bass Line:Focus on Lower Register: The bass guitar will likely play an octave lower than the original piano melody, providing a low-end foundation.Melodic Following: The bassline won't simply play root notes of each chord. Instead, it might follow the essence of the piano melody, creating a counterpoint while staying within the bass guitar's range and avoiding awkward stretches.Rhythmic Variation: The bassline could add some rhythmic interest by using syncopation or playing off the piano's phrasing. However, it would likely maintain a steady pulse to anchor the groove.Tablature: The bass part would be written in tablature (tab) notation, indicating which frets to play on each string. This makes it easy for bass guitarists to understand and learn the part.Piano Part:Simplified Arrangement: The piano part might be a simplified version of the original, focusing on the main melody and chords. This allows the bass guitar to take the spotlight while the piano provides harmonic support.Left Hand: The piano's left hand would likely play the root notes and arpeggios of the chords, creating a foundation for the harmony.Right Hand: The right hand could play a simplified version of the melody, or focus on arpeggios and embellishments to add texture.Overall Sound:Intertwined Melodies: The combination of the bassline following the piano melody and the piano's right hand playing a simplified version creates a sense of two melodies intertwining.Warmth and Depth: The lower register of the bass guitar adds warmth and depth to the original piano piece.Modern Interpretation: This transcription offers a fresh take on a classical masterpiece, showcasing the versatility of both instruments.Finding the Transcription:While this description provides a general idea, finding a complete and ready-made transcription of Für Elise for bass guitar with piano might require some searching. Musikeo #6371721. Published by Musikeo (A0.845464). Io sì (Seen) is a song written by Diane Warren, Laura Pausini and Niccolò Agliardi, and recorded by Pausini for the soundtrack of the 2020 film The Life Ahead. The song was produced by Greg Wells and released as a digital single on 23 October 2020. Io sì (Seen) won the awards for Song of the Year at the Capri Hollywood International Film Festival, Best International Song at the CinEuphoria Awards, Master in Music Award at the Los Angeles Italia Film Festival, Outstanding Song – Feature Film at the 11th Hollywood Music in Media Awards, Best Original Song at the 25th Satellite Awards and the award with the same name at the 78th Golden Globe Awards (the first non-English song to win the award and Pausini the first Italian singer ever to win the prize). It also received nominations for Best Original Song at the 93rd Academy Awards, making it the first song sung entirely in Italian to be nominated, and Best Original Song both at the 66th David di Donatello Awards and at the 19th Gold Derby Awards.Io sì (Seen) is a power ballad. Diane Warren wrote the original version of the song, with English-language lyrics, specifically for the film The Life Ahead, and involved Pausini in the project during the summer of 2020. After watching the film, Pausini accepted to perform the song, identifying herself in its message about diversity and against prejudice, racism, also talks about the hard life of orphaned or poor children, people struggling to have or adopt children, to people who are invisible and need to be seen and especially to the difficult situation that the world lives in these times.[8] Pausini translated the song in Italian with her frequent collaborator Niccolò Agliardi. Despite being used to compose instinctively, Pausini and Agliardi worked on the lyrics adaptation for 25 days, since she wanted to be sure to respect the film's meaning. The song was produced, mixed, with most instruments played by Greg Wells, and recorded in Romagna in Pausini's home studio built in her parents' house. The film only features the Italian-language version of the song, but it was also recorded by Pausini in English, Spanish, French and Portuguese. The piano arrangement we came up with here has the lead melody on the right hand and a simple but beautiful accompaniment on the left hand. Guitar Chord Symbols and Fretboards are also provided . Enjoy this beautiful song!
