Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1078272 Composed by Charles-François Gounod. Arranged by Piacere Music Sheets. Praise & Worship,Romantic Period,Sacred,Spiritual. Octavo. 15 pages. Piacere Music Sheets #682482. Published by Piacere Music Sheets (A0.1078272). Opus/Catalog Number: ICG 213, No. 7, Movement 5 Key/Tone: C Major Movements/Sections: Moderato Year/Date of Composition: 1877 Difficulty: Grade 3/12 (Easy) Obs.: This piece is the fifth and last movement in Gounod's Messe brève no. 7 Aux chapelles. It was originally published in 1877 in a version for two equal voices with organ. In 1890, Gounod rearranged it for soli, four-part mixed choir and organ and added the words Aux chapelles to the title. This piece opens with solo male voices singing a simple yet very lyrical melody. Then the four-part choir enters, repeating and expanding this melody upwards to its summit, after which a descending cascade leads back downwards to the main melody. The Agnus Dei then ends with the pleas for peace uttered in pianissimo chords. This arrangement is for SATB choir with organ accompaniment Included: Full score and separated parts for each voice/instrument.

French Horn Solo - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.767350 Composed by Mike Lyons. Concert,Contemporary. Individual part. 7 pages. Lyons Music Services #3520235. Published by Lyons Music Services (A0.767350). This is my third new sonata for unaccompanied French horn. it has three movements as follows:   Movement 1: Dance It begins with a crotchet theme which forms the basis of the rest of the movement. The opening should be stately and measured, but not slow. The echoes should be as quiet as possible for each statement of the opening motif. I have made a lot of use of rhythmic features in this movement. After the Maestoso, the 12/8 section is in the nature of a jig, with lots of repeated pitches and very rhythmical There's much use of syncopation. After I have played around with these ideas (intervals based on the opening) there is a more legato tune, also based on the opening music, but in a grander style and marked nobilmente. This is almost a processional, and leads to a reprise of the jig motifs in a new mode and with modifications to the rhythm. The second movement of this sonata is a set of 3 variations on an original tune. The melody is quite hymn-like and needs to be played as such. Very legato, with very slight tongue. Variation 1 is an 8th note variation, with a slight increase in tempo to help it to flow. The player will need to pay close attention to the written phrasing so as not to lose the theme. This variation is p throughout. Variation 2 is a triplet/sextuplet variation, again with a slight increase in tempo. This variation has turns, which I have written out in ossias above to be clear how I would like it to be played. Variation 3 is a semiquaver and glissando variation, requiring good tongue technique and clear phrasing. Breathing should be easy as I have made provision for breaths to mark the ends of phrases. Please don't change these! Finally, there is a restatement of the original theme with slight adaptations to bring the movement to a quiet finish. The third and final movement of the sonata is a rondo. The opening music keeps returning throughout the length of the movement. It comprises a stuttering rhythmic phrase with alternating upwards and downwards scales which gradually build up throughout the opening of the movement. Each time the ritornello idea returns it has been altered in some way. Between the ritornelli are slightly less frenetic sections of cantabile melodic ideas which hark back to both the first and second movements as well as referencing the scalic ideas from the third movement. Although the music is fast, it should be playable without resorting to triple tonguing.

Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1003152 Composed by Onder Ozkoc. Contemporary,Instructional. Score. 73 pages. Onder Ozkoc #6694811. Published by Onder Ozkoc (A0.1003152). This book has been prepared for the purpose of doing self-accompanied music reading (solfeggio) practice. For this, 70 pieces were designed; with these pieces, it is aimed to develop multi-layered thinking and hearing elements in music. The four parts in the book, which are sorted according to the level of difficulty, are written on a single string, the notes with the stems downwards are accompanied by the notes, and the ones that upwards belong to the reading party. The accompaniment of the pieces is sometimes considered as a single sound, chord, or rhythmic structure, and sometimes as a combination of these structures. The accompaniment, which comes as a rhythmic structure in the 2nd and 4th chapters, is written with rhythmic notation on a separate staff. The accompaniments of the pieces in the first part can be played with instruments such as the piano or guitar, where two or three voices can be played at the same time and music can be played while performing, while the accompaniments are designed only as a rhythm for the parts in the second part can be played by hitting them with the hand or another instrument. The pieces in the third part were written in a way that the upper part can be read when the lower part is played and the lower part is read when the upper part is played, considering the translatable counterpoint technique, thus 4 working ways are derived from one piece. The monophonic accompaniments of the pieces in this section can also be played with instruments that can be read while playing. The fourth chapter of the book contains pieces that combine the understanding of the first two chapters, which can be called advanced when compared to the other chapters. The pieces in the book were read many times with students from different age groups at different levels, and their interpretations contributed to the shaping of the pieces. It is thought that the book, which includes studies that can help with simultaneous melody/rhythm hearing, reading scores, or rhythmic analysis, will contribute to the development of multi-layered thinking and hearing in music by making accompanying music reading studies on its own, and this is a basic requirement for every musician.

Instrumental Duet Clarinet,Flute,Instrumental Duet - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.590548 Composed by D. Celtic,Folk,Holiday,Love,Wedding. Score and parts. 4 pages. David McKeown #6212677. Published by David McKeown (A0.590548). Grá, (Irish for Love), is a beautiful original composition by David McKeown, arranged as a duet for one Flute and one Clarinet. This duet is inspired by the Irish sean-nós style of singing. Originally sung unaccompanied in the Irish Gaelic language, in more recent times the melodies have been adapted as instrumentals, harmonised and given accompaniment. The songs are most often about love and loss and Grá aims to capture this melancholy mood.Grá is written for players at an intermediate standard and upwards. Expressive throughout, the first part of the melody is played above a drone. Simple accompaniment then builds towards a climax before the melody slips away like a distant echo. Players can add their own appropriate ornaments and variations to the melody if they wish. Grá has a performance time of a little over three minutes.
