After the attack on Pearl Harbor, the decision was made to engage fully in World War II, and engage they did. The WAR project's goal is to tell the story of war through music as music can often tell stories better that words.

The song evokes the spirit of the hilltop castle home of the ancient Irish kings, through the symbol of the harp, the traditional instrument of the Irish people. The vocal part could be taken by soprano, alto, or tenor voice ranges, and if the pitch is too low for a particular voice, the guitarist could use a capo to raise the pitch of the guitar.
