In France, there is a place called Besancon. That just so happens to be my last name! So what I have done is create a chorale that is dedicated to their wind orchestra. Program Notes:
Composer Wesley Besancon always liked going out and sitting next to rivers. Well, he has discovered a riverbed beside his house, and has decided to write a composition about it! This is a slow, lyrical, and free piece to help give people the surreal experiance of being beside a river. The surrogate feeling coming off of the river and onto the land is strong within this piece! I hope you enjoy The Flowing River.
Notes to Conductor:
This is supposed to feel timeless (kind of without a time signiture) so do whatever you can to give that feeling.
Start the Riveraudio file and when you hear a crackling sound, start the piece.
The Forest file should start at 57.

Ocean Springs is a very pretty town on the coast of Mississippi. The friendlieness of it all is amazing, and the charming enviroment is like no other in Mississippi. The attractions mashed with the enviroment will take your breath away. I know that is how I feel about Ocean Springs. And that is why I have wrote a lyriccal composition for them. The Texas Revolution (October 2, 1835 – April 21, 1836) was a rebellion of colonists from the United States and Tejanos (Hispanic Texans) in putting up armed resistance to the centralist government of Mexico. Although the uprising was part of a larger one, the Mexican Federalist War, that included other provinces opposed to the regime of President Antonio López de Santa Anna, the Mexican government believed the United States had instigated the Texas insurrection with the goal of annexation. (from wikipedia- credited use). My piece perfectly encapsulates the revolution (from the guns, to the war motifs, to the mysterioso part). I hope you enjoy this piece.

This new and exciting composition is a celebratory fanfare called Fanfarria de Destino '' meaning Fanfare of Destiny ''. This fanfare, however, is geared mostly toward  Woodwinds. The brass takes background and counter-melody, while woodwinds take melody.  There are, however, several sections where the brass takes the wheel! At the end, a standard brass chorale ends the composition, with woodwinds giving off the final ounce of melodic content. The fanfare is supposed to be as magnificent as the person who it is dedicated to.

Let’s get one thing straight, Cyclone Galveston was not actually a cyclone. The hurricane, however, did form near Africa which makes me consider it to be a cyclone. On August 27, 1900, Galveston, Texas would feel a punch that would knock down every single building. This piece represents that with swirling woodwinds, tornadic brass, and frightening percussion. In the center of the piece, there is a calm chorale to represent the eye of the storm. After that, it goes back to the evil cyclone themes.
