Piano,Voice Duet Piano,Voice - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.697600 Composed by Unknown. Arranged by Sandy McIntire. Country,Easter,Praise & Worship,Sacred,Traditional. 9 pages. Sandy McIntire #5999723. Published by Sandy McIntire (A0.697600). What Wondrous Love Is This is arranged here for an Soprano-Alto Duet with a piano accompaniment. This American Christian hymn is taken from William Walker's Southern Harmony (1835), a shape note hymnal. The lyrics of the hymn were first published in 1811 and the melody is older with sources referring to various origins. Four verses are sung in this arrangement building from a quiet presentation of the melody and lyric theme to a victorious ending. Each of the following verses builds on the melody and seeks to replicate musically the meaning of the lyrics which are particularly appropriate for Lent and Easter.

Guitar - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1379807 By Louis Armstrong. By Bob Thiele and George David Weiss. Arranged by Derek Hasted. Film/TV,Pop. 20 pages. Derek Hasted #964512. Published by Derek Hasted (A0.1379807). WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD (Louis Armstrong) - 4 GUITARS/LARGE ENSEMBLEFor Classical or Acoustic Guitar - sometimes it's erroneously listed here as Electric Guitar.Derek Hasted writes This is a very accessible arrangement of a real classic! It works well as a guitar quartet, and sounds even more impressive played by a larger ensemble. The key is just a semitone lower than the original Louis Armstrong version, and most of the chords will seem instantly familiar. The choice of key means that you might just get an audience singing along - all the sections of the original are here.Guitar 1 is the tuneGuitar 2 swaps between the string section, the flute and the horns of the originalGuitar 3 is arpeggio based, and the first instance of each shape is fingered.Guitar 4 is the bass line, and is presented in both treble and bass clefs (play one or the other or both!)I hope you enjoy playing this piece! This is one of a large and growing range of accessible ensembles from experienced arranger Derek Hasted, and is supplied as full score and parts. Derek's website at www.derek-hasted.co.uk/smp lists all his arrangements by title and by number of instruments, with links to soundclips and sample score.
