Choral Choir (3-Part Mixed) - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1170258 By Hubert Gregg. By Hubert Gregg. Arranged by V.Firnberg. 20th Century,Folk,Historic,Singer/Songwriter,Traditional. Octavo. 6 pages. Virginia Firnberg #770612. Published by Virginia Firnberg (A0.1170258). This upbeat 3 part choir and piano classic about London (UK) was composed in 1944 by Hubert Gregg who was a pre-war broadcaster for the BBC. It begins imaginatively by setting the scene with street cries from a London market accompanied by the piano. What follows is a rousing unison rendition of the song, (perhaps the audience could join in?), then a solo trio, and, with the addition of a counter melody, the piece comes to a close. The song tells the story of someone who is taking a walk in London and is in love with the place. I worked with 'The Three Valleys Male Voice Choir' to come up with the street cries, as some of them had been market traders back in the day.

Choral Choir,Choral (SATB) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1141619 Composed by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow and Johnny Marks. Arranged by Scott S. Stewart. 20th Century,Christmas,Contemporary,Holiday,Religious. 12 pages. Scott S. Stewart #741957. Published by Scott S. Stewart (A0.1141619). The Christmas carol I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day, based on the 1863 poem Christmas Bells by American poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, was set to music by Johnny Marks in 1956. Longfellow’s poem tells of the impact of hearing Christmas bells during the American Civil War. Marks, and other arrangers and performers normally omit the mention of the war in their adaptations of the poem. This arrangement uses the complete text of Longfellow’s masterpiece, and through respect to the text, (using choral colors and styles), honors what this arranger considers to be Marks intention, a simple hymn-tune narrative of America in time of crisis much like today. This arrangement in scored for 4-part SATB ensemble with piano accompaniment. Performance time: 4:15+-.

Baritone Horn TC,Trumpet - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1327405 By West Arts Brass. By Traditional (English). Arranged by Will Stewart. Christmas,Classical,Holiday,Traditional. 4 pages. Grey Wanderer Publishing, BMI #914098. Published by Grey Wanderer Publishing, BMI (A0.1327405). Make the Season Bright is a whimsical collection of classic Christmas carols and songs, arranged for brass trio, and crafted to delight both performers and listeners.  The style of the arrangements are meant to evoke sounds of the British brass ensembles of old.The brass trio consists of 2 Bb trumpets and a Bb baritone in treble clef and are arranged for Advanced Intermediate players.  The Bb baritone was chosen so a third trumpet player could switch to the instrument with minimal difficulty if a more experienced baritone player is not available.  The melodies in the collection are shared between all three instruments, and the songs were intended to be performed as a set.Originally written for the students of the West Arts Academy School of Music, the arrangements are notated here as they were recorded by academy faculty trio West Arts Brass for the HiCap Records release “Make the Season Brightâ€.  All songs in the collection are arranged by Will Stewart and published by Grey Wanderer Publishing.Make the Season Bright arrangements:I Saw Three ShipsWhat Child Is This? Here We Come a-WassailingThe Holly and the IvyBring a Torch, Jeanette IsabellaO Little Town of BethlehemDing Dong!
