Choral Alto Voice,Soprano Saxophone (SATB) - Level 3 - Interactive Download SKU: A0.1127139 By Bob Rowe. By Bob Rowe. This edition: Interactive Download. Classical. Octavo. 12 pages. Duration 205. Bob Rowe #4zCpyXGf1RUqh1QxfYilbW. Published by Bob Rowe (A0.1127139). Key: C major.I originally wrote this piece back in April 2020 during quarantine. However, I decided to make some changes to make it even better and I'm proud of what I came up with. The text is by famous Harlem Renaissance poet, Langston Hughes. He is one of my favorite poets. I always dreamed I'd write a choral piece using his text and my dream has become a reality. Text I am God Without one friend Alone in my purity World without end Below me young lovers Tread the sweet ground But I am God I cannot come down Spring! Life is Love Love is life only Better to be human Than God and lonely.

Cello Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1288214 Composed by Chris Becker. 21st Century,Classical,Contemporary,New Age. Individual part. 6 pages. Beckeresque (ASCAP) #879245. Published by Beckeresque (ASCAP) (A0.1288214). When I first saw the enormous chair Rachel Gardner and Carlos Canul constructed for A Gift from the Bower, an outdoor, multi-disciplinary group exhibition conceived by renowned artists James Surls and Charmaine Locke, I had a vision of a cellist seated in a chair on the chair, performing solo in a bower deep in the woods of Splendora Gardens. I shared this image with Rachel, who didn’t think I was nuts, and over the course of several weeks, composed a piece for unaccompanied cello to be performed at the opening of the exhibit. I was honored when cellist Patrick Moore agreed to premiere the work; his formidable technique and the deep expression he brings to his playing inspired me to embrace the challenge of composing a solo for his instrument.Knowing my piece would be performed outdoors, I was inspired to evoke the rhythm of sound events one hears in woods, especially the rise and fall of wind as it moves through branches and leaves. The very opening of the piece and later, what I hear as an extended coda, were created as moments for the cellist as much as for the listener and are performed in a sort of meditative state, calling to mind the age-old question, “If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?†The repeating measures of 16th notes in the piece’s demanding middle section pay tribute to two of my heroes, Terry Riley and Philip Glass. While composing the work, Bach’s Six Suites for Violoncello Solo was another important point of reference, as was double bassist Eberhard Weber's 1973 album, The Colours of Chloë.Once finished, it made sense to name the piece A Gift from the Bower since the opportunity to compose the work was a gift, and in exchange, so is the music I have composed.A Gift from the Bower premiered on April 22, 2023, by Patrick Moore at the Locke Surls Center for Art and Nature.A revised version of this piece was completed on September 5, 2023.

Concert band - Grade 1 - Digital Download SKU: IZ.CBS1613 Composed by Marsha Chusmir Shapiro. Score and Parts. 57 pages. Imagine Music - Digital #CBS1613. Published by Imagine Music - Digital (IZ.CBS1613). 9 x 12 in inches.Composer's NotesFor several years I taught at a private Catholic school, the Bascillica School of St. Paul. I was exposed to some beautiful melodies from the weekly Masses, including one I particularly remembered, but which was under copyright. So I decided to create a similar modal line and open the composition as if it were being sung in a church. I play the French horn which is why I chose that voice to express the theme. The variations which followed were to begin as historically simple, but move toward a more contemporary sound. I have always loved the percussive sound of Vaclav Nelhybell's music and that is what I intended for the ending.

Published by Moni Bergo (A0.1012747). Music and song composed by meVampire's dance I live between two worlds Between trash and slums This is a dream or reality ? The lie or the truth?  While I wait for sunsets I look at the sun and horizons And breathe freedom and my immortality  Desire for the infinite, Who has not ever tried ? That need to know that the stronger we are Invincible and powerful without the burden of age Over the centuries and the millennia Always gorgeous 20 years old  And then dance To the rhythm of the Vampire Do you feel my breath Let us give this eternal night  And then dance The senses amplified sharp teeth let's see who can stop us  around the fire like wolves, red eyes, a bit 'fierce,  we move in packs, invisible and fast , we are thieves thoughts ,so forgotten who you were  or roots or ties ,no land limits  And then dance To the rhythm of the Vampire Do you feel my breath Let us give this eternal night  And then dance The senses amplified sharp teeth let's see who can stop us  The mania destroys Hunger afflicts us But it will not be the food that will satisfy Torments and regrets, sad feelings, Nightime falling erase them We are shadows at night ,The heart that no beats We languid slaves the Voodoo rituals The pale faces, The ambiguous smiles Put the cross, you will not need  Strange characters So wild and free ,But  in this society ,Nothing scarier ago  I donate my blood every day  to The state or the government the Vampires are we ,There are monsters and vultures Those imprisoned vampires, In the faded pages  Elegant, charming, So beautiful and in high places and in they I recognize that mania that is also mine My hunger to know ,With food can not be satisfied  And then dance ,And crossing that border Now there is an end to what I can imagine And then dance, I sad renegade I lost soul, Who do not know who to give my heart  And then dance ,If you are not anyone ,If you lost in the journey You can not find a post to be filled      Look in the mirror  You can see my reflection? This is a dream or reality? The lie or the truth?                                                                  Monica Bergo

I dedicated this variation piece to my piano teacher Johanna Wiedenbach at the end of my music studies. I had a very good time with her, and what I am able to play on the piano I mostly learnt with her. When I play this piece now I think of her full of thankfulness and I think of the music I learnt with her.

Instrumental Duet Guitar,Instrumental Duet,Voice - Digital Download SKU: A0.942097 Composed by Apostolos Paraskevas. 20th Century,Contemporary,Romantic Period,World. Score and parts. 11 pages. Silver Sickle Publications #6104711. Published by Silver Sickle Publications (A0.942097). This guitar and vocal work were originally set on the Robert Frost poem ‘Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening’, and was written for a lecture series at Boston University given by Lukas Foss entitled ‘Words on Music. Some years later I set out to publish the work and found that the estate of the late R. Frost frowned upon this particular practice and after a second failed attempt to get permission to publish the work, I decided to write my own verse for this composition (my first actually) and use a subject familiar to me, the story of Daedalus and Icarus Journey to freedom. After his arrival in Crete, Daedalus found that Minos would not let him leave. He subsequently obtained wax and feathers and fashioned wings for himself and his son Icarus. With these they succeeded in flying away, but Icarus, flying too near to the sun, melted his wings, fell into the sea near Crete, and drowned; Daedalus escaped to Italy only to fall into the hands of the local King Kokalos who drowned him in hot water.   The Daedalus and Icarus JourneyEscape from here is what I’ll doI have a plan I thought it throughThe waves beneath us deadly wildI’ll fly up high, it’s just the sky That was a dreadful thing to sayTo fly so high, you can’t survive.Your wings, your soul and frozen smile,The sun will burn and you will die. The Death you seek I am sure you’ll get,He’s there for you he won’t forget. He will be fast and kind with you,If He survived why not you too? It’s time to go the sky gets blueMy mind will be so close to youYou cannot scare me I have to try,The time is right, let’s say goodbye. Text by Apostolos Paraskevas

Piano Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.944160 Composed by Michelle Agnes Magalhaes. Contemporary. Score. 17 pages. Michelle Agnes Magalhaes #5989239. Published by Michelle Agnes Magalhaes (A0.944160). ABOUT MOBILE (by Ricardo Descalzo, pianist) Few compositions have impressed me as much in my life as this genius work by the Brazilian composer, pianist and improviser. I remember that when I found it a few years ago I did not give credit to what I was listening and I could not imagine how those sounds were produced without any electronic manipulation. The idea of using cylindrical neodymium magnets inside the piano, shows that there are no limits in the imagination of the composers and that the resources to be used in our instrument are unlimited, even if there is an increasingly frequent number of people in our professional environment who hate these practices. The idea of combining precise writing with improvised fragments seems to me to fit perfectly with the spirit of the work, which was born from the improvisational world of the composer herself. Mobile is a tribute to John Cage (hence the classic screws and washers) and is inspired by the sculpture of Richard Lippold Gemini that, at the same time, served as inspiration for the Sonatas XIV and XV of the American composer. Mobile evokes an imaginary metal sculpture, a sound automaton and its cyclic movements. The result is a gorgeous universe of bells, ghostly echoes and distant ritual drums. Mobile is an essential part of my concert programs since it entered my life and one of the pieces that every year I work with my students in Musikene. I’m sure that it will become a classic of new piano music. I can only say: thanks, Michelle for creating something so beautiful, so original and so pleasant to play.

Easy Piano - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1027907 Composed by Neb I. A. Contemporary,Romantic Period. Score. 1 pages. Neb Ironhands Amstradankis #3073589. Published by Neb Ironhands Amstradankis (A0.1027907).  This title is meant to be a simple piano piece, easy to learn! Being in C major, this piece forms a simple legato melody, and in all it is intended to sound deep and pretty yet be simplistic and sort. I wrote this piece a few years ago, back then I wasn't very good at playing and what I usually wrote was too complicated for me to learn. I wanted to be able to perform one of my songs, so thus I wrote a song I knew I would be able to play with practice. Practice to your own liking. For any player, focus on making the rhythm as smooth as possible, add some dynamics if you would like, or maybe even some tempo changes.Social Media: https://www.facebook.com/nebironhands.amstadankis

Soprano voice,Vocal Solo - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.799606 Composed by Ruggiero Leoncavallo. Arranged by Nicole Elyse DiPaolo. Romantic Period. 6 pages. Nicole Elyse DiPaolo #3420731. Published by Nicole Elyse DiPaolo (A0.799606). The first of its kind, and the seventh entry in Nicole Elyse DiPaolo's Accessible Accompaniments series of aria reductions, this is a genuinely playable and slightly simplified piano/vocal reduction of Stridono lassù, Nedda's famous aria from Leoncavallo's Pagliacci. Sopranos who love this aria no longer need to fear bringing it in for auditions, last-minute performing engagements, or other situations in which the pianist may have to sight-read from the chaotic, poorly notated, and technically demanding vocal score. Pianists may now enjoy playing this aria comfortably, without risking strain/injury by trying to play the harp lines that nobody can hear anyway! All Accessible Accompaniments, including this one, boast several unique features:1. No reduction ever requires stretches of over an octave, not including bass notes meant to be held or fudged with the pedal (though octaves may also contain chord tones within them). This reduces the amount of rearranging that smaller-handed pianists must already do. Obviously, further reworkings are to be expected and pianists should feel free to add to or modify what I’ve provided.2. I’ve included less essential, but potentially desirable additional voices/passages in cue-size noteheads so that pianists can easily see them, but know that they are not necessary in a sink or swim accompanying situation. Presenting less essential material in cue-size noteheads also reduces visual clutter on the page.3. In addition to the composer’s markings, when needed, I have included hints on particular notes to bring out when the singer is likely to need them as a pitch anchor or when it is not obvious which line should be brought out within the texture.4. All page turns have been carefully selected so as to result in the least possible disruption to the pianist. When an inevitable page turn precedes a potentially surprising note or chord, I’ve included the next downbeat’s notes in cue-size stemless noteheads at the end of the preceding measure.5. When known, I’ve noted alternate cuts that singers might like to take within certain arias.6. In some cases I’ve modernized spelling conventions for easier readability (for example, by replacing ß with ss in German arias) and occasionally I've enharmonically respelled brief passages for greater clarity.About the Arranger: Praised as a sensitive pianist and outstanding accompanist who delivers powerful interpretations, Nicole Elyse DiPaolo enjoys a multifaceted career as a sought-after collaborative pianist, educational composer, arranger, coach, private teacher, and adjunct music professor. Soprano voice,Vocal Solo - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1185473 Composed by Maurice Ravel. Arranged by Nicole Elyse DiPaolo. Classical,Opera. 6 pages. Nicole Elyse DiPaolo #785149. Published by Nicole Elyse DiPaolo (A0.1185473). The first of its kind, this is a genuinely playable and slightly-to-moderately simplified piano/vocal reduction of Arrière! Je réchauffe les bons, the Fire Aria from Ravel's L'enfant et les sortilèges (1925). Sopranos who love this aria no longer need to fear bringing it in for auditions, last-minute performing engagements, or other situations in which the pianist may have to sight-read from the often chaotic vocal score, particularly if the murmuring section after the standard audition cut, which is very poorly rendered in the standard reduction, is also being included. Pianists may now enjoy playing this aria comfortably, without risking strain/injury or audition-room chaos. This Accessible Accompaniment is more generous than standard audition cuts, ending just before L'enfant re-enters with j'ai peur. It is 91 measures in total and ideal for recitals as well. All Accessible Accompaniments, including this one, boast several unique features:1. No reduction ever requires stretches of over an octave, not including bass notes meant to be held or “fudged†with the pedal (though octaves may also contain chord tones within them).
