Baritone Saxophone,Clarinet,Electronic Keyboard,Euphonium,Tenor Saxophone - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1339644 Composed by H. Ashworth-Hope. Arranged by Trevor Wharton. 20th Century,Film/TV,Folk. 31 pages. Bumpmusic Editions #925346. Published by Bumpmusic Editions (A0.1339644). Barnacle Bill by H Ashworth-Hope is an instantly recognised melody for generations of people in the UK. It has been used as the signature tune to Blue Peter, the longest-running children's TV show in the world. The programme, first broadcast in 1958 follows a magazine/entertainment format, features viewer and presenter challenges, competitions, celebrity interviews, popular culture, and sections on making arts and crafts items from household items. The original recording of the theme by Sidney Torch  and the New Century Orchestra was used until 1979 when it was replaced by an arrangement by Mike Oldfield of 'Tubular Bells' fame. Since then there have been several versions. This arrangement for Clarinet, Tenor Sax, Baritone Sax, Euphonium and Keyboard (Strings) sees the main theme passed around the instruments and the contrasting middle section given to the Baritone Sax and Euphonium before the recapitulation of the main theme.

Tenor Saxophone Duet Tenor Saxophone - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.589807 By John Denver. By David Leslie Froggatt, Jane Barnes, and Johnny Marks. Arranged by David McKeown. Children,Christmas,Country,Holiday,Rock. Score. 4 pages. David McKeown #6096167. Published by David McKeown (A0.589807). This version of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is arranged by David McKeown as a duet for two Tenor Saxophones. The song, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, was written in 1949 by Johhny Marks. The Rudolph story was written by Marks’ brother-in-law, Robert L May, a decade earlier. The success of the song was guaranteed when it was recorded by Gene Autry, a huge star at the time. Initially Gene Autry didn’t like the song and was only persuaded to record it by his wife. She obviously knew best as Rudolph went on to become the second best-selling Christmas record of all time after White Christmas, with versions by everyone from the Jackson Five to Alvin and the Chipmunks. This duet version of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is based on the Gene Autry version, with a short introduction, and three choruses of the melody, with a key change and varied accompaniment throughout. Rhythms are simple in a swing style and the range is conservative, so this arrangement is ideal for players at an intermediate level. Choral Choir (SSAA) - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.856260 By Eliza Doolittle. By Eliza Caird, Felix Powell, George Asaf, Matthew Prime, and Tim Woodcock. Arranged by Liz Garnett. Pop. Octavo. 7 pages. Liz Garnett #6563211. Published by Liz Garnett (A0.856260). Eliza Doolittle's quirky critique of social media culture remains both as catchy and as relevant as it was when it came out in 2010. The arrangement shares the melody between lead and bass (with a tenor cameo towards the end). The main challenges are some rangy lines (as in the original) and characterising the chromatic gestures that define the expressive flavour of the song.N.B. This arrangement is notated in treble and bass alta (i.e. sung an octave higher than written) clefs.Vocal Ranges:Tenor: C4 - E5

PFTMusic #6495623. Published by PFTMusic (A0.784724). Ranges are small and reachable for young hands, and moves are minimal. Very accessible for an ambitious beginner or early intermediate student. Suitable for recital or Halloween enjoyment. Please check for more piano music, sacred and secular choral and vocal selections, and arrangements for instrumental ensembles.
