Choral Choir (SAB) - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.940013 Composed by Gaetano Savio and Giancarlo Bigazzi. Arranged by César Zumel. Contemporary. Octavo. 5 pages. César Zumel #4357425. Published by César Zumel (A0.940013). The already well know Gatto nel blue belongs to the child memory of many people now between 45 and 60. They listened this song in italian, portuguese and spanish. When you try to sing it you will go back to the music of the 70's, where the melody and the lyric were plenty of energy, plenty of emotion, feelings,...basically plenty. The arrange is soft enough not to disturbe to the melody. It is posible to sing with an electrical bass, and a bit of percusion mainly at the end, just when the second chorus appear.

Piano Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1278318 By Michael Swedberg. By Johann Sebastian Bach. Arranged by Terrence Niska. 21st Century,Baroque,Contemporary,New Age. Score. 8 pages. Niska Music Publishing #870024. Published by Niska Music Publishing (A0.1278318). My first encounter with this beautiful work by Bach was when I performed it as a piano/organ duet at the baccalaureate service prior to my high school graduation. The piece begins with bells in the distance answered by the shepherd on his flute. There is a decidedly peaceful feel to the music when the melody begins, but it is not the pastoral feel of the original, but rather a pop-inspired treatment with more syncopation in the melody. The second theme is more straight-forward in the right hand with a flowing eighth-note figure in the left hand. Following a brief interlude the melody moves to the left hand while the right plays a figure which brings to mind the tolling of a single bell. The piece closes with the return of the opening duet between the bells and the shepherd on his flute as the sun sets and the flock rests for the night.

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.774722 Composed by Traditional. Arranged by Sandra Milliken. Folk,World. Octavo. 16 pages. Sandra Milliken #3863763. Published by Sandra Milliken (A0.774722). Brisbane Ladies, sometimes known as Augathella Station, is an Australian folk song based on an English naval song titled Spanish Ladies. The song probably dates from the time of the War of the First Coalition (1793-96) when the Royal Navy carried supplies to Spain in support of that country’s resistance to revolutionary France. It then probably gained further popularity during the later Peninsular War when British soldiers were transported to Spain to assist rebels fighting against the French occupation by the forces of Napoleon. Spanish Ladies is a tale of British naval personnel sailing north from Spain and along the English Channel to their home port.Due to its popularity, several variants of Spanish Ladies later appeared in various parts of the world. American whalers sang a version called Yankee Whalermen. In Newfoundland it appeared as We’ll Rant and We’ll Roar. Special lyrics were written to the tune for the Bluenose, a famous Canadian sailing ship plying out of Nova Scotia. In Australia, around 1880, another set of lyrics appeared, written by Saul Mendelsohn who was a storekeeper in the small Queensland town of Nanango. Brisbane Ladies tells about the drovers who bring the herds of cattle overland from western Queensland to the markets in Brisbane. There the drovers spend most of their money and time with the ladies before setting out for home in search of the next herd of cattle for market. The places mentioned in Brisbane Ladies are mostly small towns along the stock route that stretched some 750 kilometres north-west of Brisbane towards the small town of Augathella, on the banks of the Warrego River. Augathella, at that time, marked the convergence of three major bullock tracks from Morven, Tambo and Charleville.

Choral Choir (TTBB) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.779366 Composed by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. Arranged by Shelton Ridge Love. Contemporary. Octavo. 12 pages. Shelton Ridge Love #4593251. Published by Shelton Ridge Love (A0.779366). I am not a stranger to the dark.Hide away, they say, ’cause we don’t want your broken parts. I grew up in a very conservative, religious environment. My family, churches, and the Christian schools I attended always taught me that being gay was a sin. I hid that part of myself from everyone and fought so hard to make it go away. I didn’t want God to hate me. I didn’t want my sin to isolate me from my family or send me to hell. When the sharpest words wanna cut me down,I’m gonna send a flood, gonna drown them out.I am brave; I am bruised; I am who I’m meant to be.This is me. It took a long time for me to make the words of this song my own. Coming out was a long and often difficult process. But the day that same-sex marriage was legalized in South Carolina, I finally decided to come out publically on social media. I thought about that moment when I first heard this song-the moment that I was able to unashamedly tell the world: THIS IS ME!  - Shelton

Also, how time seems to pass faster when we are doing something we love.Mood: Romantic, gentle, warm, emotional.Musical Traits: Strong melody in right hand piano that reflects the vocal line.Performance Time: 4:17Sydney Stevens music is available on: Pandora, Spotify, iTunes, Amazon, Whisperings Solo Piano Radio, AllMusicMore Links: www.sydneystevenswatermusic.com http://www.linkedin.com/in/sydney-stevens-532a113aBIOGRAPHY:Sydney Stevens began writing melodies on the piano before she could reach the pedals. Her earliest memory was watching her mother play classical piano. She began piano lessons at the age of 8, and started composing shortly thereafter.Stevens approaches her compositions as an artist. She paints musical portraits of the things that bring meaning to life: relationship to living things, emotional healing, discovering what matters most and honoring that as best we are able. Stevens' beautiful piano-based music aligns one with their own heart. Although some of her music can be described as New Age, her roots are heavily based in classical and jazz. Her study of classical composition makes her music more complex than some New Age music. Her music has been likened to the impressionistic composers such as Claude Debussy. Sydney's formal training is also reflected in her ability to compose for orchestral instruments. Her latest release, Cycles of Life, was solely recorded and produced by Sydney, programming all of the virtual instruments.Sydney has a great love for jazz. Keith Jarrett was an influence on her with his innovative and improvisational piano recordings and performances. She was particularly impressed with the freedom of style he portrayed in his performances. Bill Evans was something Sydney heard played as a young child. Where her mother was a classical pianist, her father was a jazz pianist. Perhaps that's why some of Sydney’s music can be described as a crossover between classical and jazz--remnants from those early years. Joni Mitchell and Judy Collins were big inspirations for Sydney's songwriting. She was especially drawn to the deeply emotional lyrics in many of their songs.Cycles of Life, the title track from Sydney's current release, was composed for her late step dad. The song is about the cycle of birth and death: Cycles of life go on, yet we carry all that we've known and loved through the ages. Time, another track on Sydney's current release, is a song about how time passes more quickly when we are doing something we cherish. Brian's Song, inspired by the loss of her father-in-law, reflects: All that really matters is the way we fill our heart, and the ways that it has loved. Dawn, a track from Sydney's album Seasons, is a beautiful piano-based instrumental with light string background. It portrays that very peaceful hour as the sun slowly lights up the world -- the hour of dawn.Sydney is a poet. She sees the world through a heart that feels the joy and sorrow of the world and those she meets. Her gift is the ability to transfer that emotion into music. Listening to her music is like taking a journey. She delves into depths of emotion, often taking the lis.

Choral Choir (Unison) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.972975 Composed by John W. Fisher. Christian,Jewish,Praise & Worship,Sacred,Spiritual. Octavo. 8 pages. John Fisher #4625135. Published by John Fisher (A0.972975). In some places of worship,  some parishioners rise when the Scripture is read.  When I first observed that, I asked one who was standing why he did that and he said it came from the Book of Nehemiah. After further research, I composed this baritone solo to preach out a lesson.  I asked another member of the church if she knew anything of this practice, and she told me some do it but others do not want visitors to stand out. With an Old Time hymn sing accompaniment, this makes for good summer fill in music while the choir is on vacation.

Piano Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.818064 Composed by Anton R. Tajanlangit. Christian,Contemporary,Spiritual. Score. 7 pages. Antonality #4612847. Published by Antonality (A0.818064). No More Pain - in memory of Sr. Cecille Tajanlangit, OSC. The very last note says it all...In October 2016, my younger sister Marilou, who is also Sr. Cecille Tajanlangit, OSC, Mother Abbess of the St. Clare Monastery in Biliran, Leyte, Philippines, died of a chronic illness that had no known cure and that had caused her so much pain and suffering through so many years.A few months before, and going into the time that she died, she had been listening to all my works, 24/7, by her bedside. She told me over an overseas call that she was my number one fan and joked that she wanted to be the president of a fan club she was going to start up for me.But then not long afterward, she passed away-more than 13,000 kilometres away from me.I just composed this very sad piano piece to commemorate her life, which she had dedicated to Christ in His sufferings too. I'm sure she will hear this too from wherever she is. I did ask her, when she was still alive, to let God hear all my works when she gets to heaven. She said she would. Maybe that's where my fan club will be set up, among the angels! Those who were by her death bed recount that she twitched slightly on her last breath, and at the next instant a smile of deliverance showed up on her face! Please play the piece and try to decipher the hidden meanings behind each section. Towards the end of the piece, she falls into Jesus' lap and ... on the very last note, everything that she was hoping for came true. NO MORE PAIN!P.S. Musicians who hear this will recognize it as the Tierce de Picardie.

Concert Band - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1492841 By Keen'V. By Curtis Inseque, Jordan Houyez, Julio Masidi, and Kevin Bonnet. Arranged by Kirk Kiernander. Contemporary,Multicultural,Pop,World. 34 pages. Kirk Kiernander #1069527. Published by Kirk Kiernander (A0.1492841). Outété, performed by Keen'V, was the runner-up song for the 2023 Manie Musicale song competition. This high energy piece has been arranged for concert band where each Part 1 is levelled near grade 1.5, Part 2 near grade .75. When Part 2 has a more complicated part, support is given with Part 1. For levelled percussion, the Drums part has been extracted to Snare Drum and Bass Drum parts.Ensembles can play Part 1 by itself, or just Part 2, but there are impressive rhythmic complications when both parts are played together. This piece can be played as a side-by-side for 2 different levelled bands (e.x., Junior/Senior Bands) or in class to allow students to work within their own abilities. Lastly, this piece can be played as the backing track for a vocalist to sing along with.It is encouraged to play Outété alongside the song to help with student engagement, rhythmic accuracy, and tuning as it is in the same key of Bb Concert.Audio for Outété found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U8CTuHNh3zUMeasure 36 in the Drums part, the cymbal should be rolled into the repeat and measure 37.

Brass Ensemble Trombone - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.955729 By Elvis Presley. By Richard Rodgers. Arranged by Phil Thrift. Contemporary. Score and parts. 15 pages. Phil Thrift #5769067. Published by Phil Thrift (A0.955729). Blue Moon is best performed by not telling your audience what is coming! Many listeners will be unfamiliar with the almost recitative-style opening that follows the four-measure intro. So when the well-known tune is finally heard at measure 23, some at least will be pleasantly surprised. But don’t decorate the melody too much here; just enjoy it as it is, let that warm trombone sound shine through! The 2nd trombone can decorate the melody a little more from measure 31 onward, but don’t let any swing feeling creep in before measure 38. You may wish to speed up a bit more than I have indicated at measures 47 and 62, but don’t play the swing sections too fast – this is not an up-tempo version. Just strengthen the swing feeling a little each time. This piece will test your quartet’s ability to play an easy swing really tight – especially when the melody is being pulled around, the lead player is playing a little behind the beat. As is usual with my arrangements, every player has the lead at some point, and maybe the chance to introduce a few of their own ideas. This arrangement gives you plenty of opportunity to exploit those all-important trombone characteristics: slide vibrato, bends, and smears, but above all, a warm sound!Listen to a full-length licensed recording on SoundCloud:

Alto Voice,Vocal Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1022084 Composed by Bill Taylor music, Bill Taylor with Jaye Alison Moscariello, and Lyrics. Arranged by Bill Taylor. Broadway,Contemporary,Jazz. 3 pages. William R Taylor #6475595. Published by William R Taylor (A0.1022084). Release ©2006, lyrics©2010.  Bill’s mom Priscilla Alden Taylor (nee Rowe) passed on at age 90 in January, 2010.  This piece was one she loved, but the words did not come until 2 months after her death and 2 days before Jaye and I were to perform Mom’s song Every Time We Meet at the Anderson Valley Variety Show.  We sung it as best we could with so little practice time and in a key way too high.  This version is transposed down a fifth.  Listeners with parents who have gone on, and those who haven’t, may find some familiar themes here.  If inspired, support your local elder and/or hospice organizations. I love my children to be happy.  What’s new with you Mom?  Charlotte’s got a bakery. Hannah is teaching, playing in San Jose. Tom and Jeanne expecting, he’s flying a new plane. Lucy’s kids are doing well, I’m seeing Uncle Jay. My life is going on in a most pleasant way. When are you coming here to visit, it’s been way too long? When we were children everything was made into a song. Father’s jazzy flute, brother’s boogie woogie She left Julliard to help her family Factory in the war, music she wrote A job at Schirmers she met my Dad had 5 kids Trips to Vermont and Jersey and New York Kept house, school lunch, kind words, praising Now she is running and swimming Dancing and flying, she’s singing All new adventures, new worlds to learn and know Earth body left behind, all life is love and flow Walker made her so tired, shuffling oh so slow She learned to ask for help from all of us below Gathered her children all around her at her time to go Now she’s with her God.

Peet du Toit #6037473. Published by Peet du Toit (A0.802622). The British Grenadiers is a traditional marching song of British, Australian and Canadian military units whose badge of identification features a grenade, the tune of which dates from the 17th century. It is the Regimental Quick March of the Royal Artillery (since 1716), Corps of Royal Engineers (since 1787), the Honourable Artillery Company (since 1716), Grenadier Guards 'The First (later 'Grenadier') Regiment of Foot Guards' (since 1763), and the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers (since 1763). It is also an authorised march of the Royal Australian Artillery, The Royal Gibraltar Regiment, The Royal Regiment of Canadian Artillery, The Royal Regiment of Canada, The Princess Louise Fusiliers, and The 5th Canadian Mounted Rifles. The standard orchestration for the military band was approved in 1762, when the Royal Artillery Band (initiated in 1557) became recognised officially, and for all other 'grenade' regiments in 1763, when the remaining unofficial bands gained official status.

Woodwind Ensemble Flute - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1092455 Composed by Francesco Durante. Arranged by Regis Bookshar. Baroque,Instructional,Sacred. 7 pages. Regis Bookshar #696547. Published by Regis Bookshar (A0.1092455). Kyrie - by Francesco Durante; Flute Quartet – Intermediate – Digital Download. “Kyrieâ€, originally written for a four-part vocal ensemble by Francesco Durante, has now been transcribed, edited and arranged by Regis Bookshar, for a Flute Quartet. It would be a welcomed addition to any music library. This short composition, which lasts less than two minutes, will provide many students with the opportunity to practice breath control because of its long phrases, and to help them to continue to develop good intonation because many of the phrases cadence on a unison note. This selection could be performed for concerts, recitals and church services. It is suitable for high school and college students but professional musicians would also enjoy playing this selection. Included are a score and a complete set of parts (7 pages). This selection is one of the many arrangements from the Regis Bookshar Trumpet Ensemble’s extensive music library which are being made available for the first time. We have performed the Trumpet Quartet version of this composition for many church services, especially funerals, when we were asked to supply something more somber and introspective rather than the louder, more festive music which many people come to expect from a Trumpet Ensemble. Francesco Durante was an Italian composer who was born on March 31, 1684 at Frattamaggiore, in the Kingdom of Naples. At an early age he entered the Conservatorio dei poveri di Gesu Cristo, in Naples, where he received lessons from Gaetano Greco. Later he became a pupil of Alessandro Scarlatti at the Conservatorio di Sant’Onofrio. He is said to have succeeded Scarlatti in 1725 at Sant’Onofrio and to have remained there until 1742, when he succeeded Nicola Porpora as head of the Conservatorio di Santa Maria de Loreto, also in Naples. He held this post for thirteen years, until his death on September 30, 1755. His fame as a teacher was considerable, and, unlike his Neapolitan contemporaries, who attracted international notice with their operas, Francesco Durante achieved recognition through his church music, along with some vocal chamber and instrumental works. His concern was not quantity. A complete collection of Durante’s works, consisting almost exclusively of sacred music, was presented by Gaspare Selveggi, a Neapolitan art collector and music theorist, to the Bibliotheque Nationale in Paris. The imperial library of Vienna also preserves a valuable collection of Durante’s manuscripts. The fact that Durante never composed for the stage brought him an exaggerated reputation as a composer of sacred music. He was considered one of the best church composers of his style and period. In his masses, requiems, litanies and Lamentations, he could provide strong expressive moments, as he does in this “Kyrieâ€. In addition to this arrangement for a Flute Quartet, Regis Bookshar has also made other arrangements of this selection. There are Quartets readily available for a wide variety of instrumental ensembles. Please take the time to look for other versions of this composition. You may find something else that may also suit your needs. I would also encourage you to search for other arrangements by Regis Bookshar, as well, as there are numerous arrangements in a variety of styles, also available for purchase. You may find something else which might interest you. Please continue to check periodically because new arrangements are being added as often as possible. I’m certain that this beautiful arrangement of Francesco Durante’s “Kyrie†will continue to entertain both performers and audiences alike for years to come.
