The idea of Imaginal listening means that the inner world where the music came to me was a gift. I had to listen to it  in my head and write it down. It contains totems, and ghosts of bygone music floating by and interacting on the way to a dance. Various  musical 'Odalisques' pass by with other more ominous 'Dead Zones'. I thought I would stop writing music when this piece came to me. There is a complete program note included with the score, and all the parts are included with the score.

As a gentle piece, it would work particularly well paired with Holly's Lullaby, another of my classical guitar compositions.
