Brass Quintet Horn,Trombone,Trumpet,Tuba - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1461184 By The Beach Boys. By Brian Wilson and Mike Love. Arranged by Will Corbin. Pop. 14 pages. Will Corbin #1040042. Published by Will Corbin (A0.1461184). I was playing with a quintet called The Beach Brass. We live in a town with beach in its name, on the Gulf of Mexico. The other band members wanted some beach music; hence, Beach Boys. (It should be noted that the surf's up seriously here only when there's a hurricane),Cash Box called 1964's I Get Around an exciting, tailored-for-teen-tastes hot rod stomper. Who can argue with that?I don't know if this one's a hot rod stomper -- it ain't fancy in any way -- but it's just the thing if you're playing for an audience drinking beer in the sunshine. If you'd like alternative instrumentation, I'm happy to accommodate. Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.597585 By Flavio Regis Cunha - Traditional. By Gregorian Chant, XV Century. Arranged by Flavio Regis Cunha. Christmas,Classical,Film/TV,Instructional,Sacred. Score. 16 pages. Flavio Regis Cunha #6656831. Published by Flavio Regis Cunha (A0.597585). Beautiful, exotic and inspiring arrangement for the well-known Gregorian chant. The arrangement proposes a cathedral atmosphere, with the piano pedal often mixing sounds and chords to provide the reverberation of a cathedral. The text of the first stanza was placed in Latin to evoke the Gregorian ambience of the first centuries of sacred vocal music. You will love playing and singing this arrangement. It will really feel like a cathedral. Your audience will love to hear it. O Come, O Come, Emmanuel, is a song for the Advent period, that is, the four sunday period before the day of Christmas. It's a period of expectation, of wait for the coming of the Messiah. the anthem has a centuries-old and curious history: text and music came from countries different and from different periods of the story! The text already existed in the eighth century! and it was very sung! But the first publication that his if you know it is from the year 1710, coming from the city of Cologne, Germany. The melody we know today, was associated for the first time to the text in 1851, in a English hymnal of that year. But the origin of melody remained obscure. the mystery was solved in 1966, only when Marry Berry, English musicologist, discovered in the National Library of France, a manuscript from the 15th century that brought the melody score, but associated with another text, Bone Jesu dulcis. So, both melody and texts are, in fact, centenarians, but they were not born together: they were joined very late! But this union has become eternal: impossible imagine O Come, O come Emmanuel sung with another melody, just like the melody, our acquaintance, associated with another text! Piano Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1194163 Composed by Che Buford. Classical. Score. 8 pages. Abundant Silence #793584. Published by Abundant Silence (A0.1194163). Penn’s Landing was written for the 2020 Curtis Young Artist Summer Program's Composer-Performer Collective. The inspiration for this piece comes from a very specific memory that I had in May 2019 of me and a friend visiting an empty Penn’s Landing at night. The skyline of Philadelphia was so vibrant as well as the lights coming from different booths and restaurants that were open. Experiencing Penn’s Landing without any people allowed us to witness the beautiful qualities that night brings in Philadelphia. The beginning of this piece starts with a reflective and peaceful feeling. The piano plays a descending two-note figure that resonates on the second note. It then mirrors itself with similar figures that represent the city lights reflecting on the water. The music transforms into something more lively, playful while still using motifs and figures from the beginning. We then move to darker, slightly slower music when the low register of the piano is introduced. The left-hand plays a dark chorale while the right-hand hits high endless, resonant notes. These feelings of elation, admiration, peacefulness, coldness, melancholia were all emotions that I hoped to evoke.

Chamber Orchestra - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1459155 Composed by Anthony Plominski. Chamber. 13 pages. Anthony Plominski #1038126. Published by Anthony Plominski (A0.1459155). This is Scimitars of the Storm, an original orchestral composition made by Anthony Plominski. This piece includes 14 instruments of various types, though it can all be played one intrument, most commonly the piano. This piece has a dramatic, epic, battle sort of theme to it, which the many intruments help create. That epic feel keeps throughout the entire composition, though it still has variety and interesting parts to it. The difficulty of this piece can vary depending on what intrument is performing its part, though there is a decent amount of skill an experience required to play it.Loads of thought and effort went into this composition, despite it only being just over two minutes when correctly played. We hope that you enjoy playing this piece!

Guitar,Medium Voice - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1271084 By David Warin Solomons. By David Warin Solomons. 20th Century,Children,Contemporary. Full Performance. Duration 1608. David Warin Solomons #863477. Published by David Warin Solomons (A0.1271084). Here is my 1976 Oratorio on Winnie the Pooh (Poohratorio) for alto voice, spoken parts, guitar and various optional other instrumentsGreat fun for young and old. It uses the whole of Chapter 8 of A A Milne's Now we are six -The expotition to the North Pole, which is now in the public domain in the USA.CHAPTER 8 ...IN WHICH CHRISTOPHER ROBIN LEADS AN EXPOTITION TO THE NORTH POLEONE fine day Pooh had stumped to the top of the Forest to see if his friend Christopher Robin was interested in Bears at all. At breakfast that morning (a simple meal of marmalade spread lightly over a honeycomb or two) he had suddenly thought of a new song. It began like this:Sing Ho! For the life of a Bear. When he had got as far as this, he scratched his head, and thought to himself That's a very good start for a song, but what about the second line? He tried singing Ho, two or three times, but it didn't seem to help. Perhaps it would be better, he thought, if I sang Hi for the life of a Bear. So he sang it . . . but it wasn't. Very well, then, he said, I shall sing that first line twice, and perhaps if I sing it very quickly, I shall find myself singing the third and fourth lines before I have time to think of them, and that will be a Good Song. Now then:Sing Ho! for the life of a Bear! Sing Ho! for the life of a Bear! I don't much mind if it rains or snows, 'Cos I've got a lot of honey on my nice new nose! I don't much care if it snows or thaws, 'Cos I've got a lot of honey on my nice clean paws! Sing Ho! for a Bear! Sing Ho! for a Pooh! And I'll have a little something in an hour or two! He was so pleased with this song that he sang it all the way to the top of the Forest, ... etc.

Concert Band - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1494334 By David B Bell, Jr. By David B Bell, Jr. Arranged by David B Bell, Jr. Contest,Festival,Instructional. 19 pages. David B Bell, Jr. #1070926. Published by David B Bell, Jr. (A0.1494334). Battle of the Band is a level 1, beginner concert band arrangement.  Originally written for Kirby's Mill Elementary School, when a student suggested it would be cool if we could play a spng where each family of the band would battle.  The middle section offers a small skirmish between the families.  The chaos of the battle is enhanced with the tri-tone in the glockenspiel.  Battle of the Band has a driving percussion, a majestic melody line with a darker counter melody.  The piece is written for FL, CL, AS, TPT, TBN and PC.  Oboe, BC, TS, BS and FH double the main instrumentation.

String Ensemble - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1039005 Composed by Pierre Phalèse Jnr. Arranged by Colin Kirkpatrick. Renaissance. Score and parts. 17 pages. Colin Kirkpatrick Publications #644005. Published by Colin Kirkpatrick Publications (A0.1039005). These two dances are taken from a collection entitled Recueil de danseries, contenant presque toutes sortes de danses (“Collection of dances, containing almost every kind of danceâ€) published in Antwerp in 1583 by Pierre Phalèse Jnr (c.1545-1629). He was continuing the work of his father Pierre Phalèse the Elder (1510-1575) the most important publisher in the Low Countries during the 16th century. The piece known as Schiarazula Marazula appears towards the end of the collection and is rather a curious addition because it evokes the sound of street music rather than that of the court. However, it was an immensely popular dance during the 16th century and possibly written by Giorgio Mainerio, an Italian musician and composer. This music was meant for dancing and entertainment and musicians would often combine several dances to make a more substantial piece. In this arrangement, Schiarazula Marazula is paired with Ballo Anglese which appears near the beginning of the original publication. The music would have been played by any instruments that happened to be available. The dances still retain their freshness and charm today and are sure to be popular at any concerts, public recitals or end-of-semester events. This arrangement is for virtually any string ensemble and the single PDF file includes a full score and parts for violin 1, violin 2, viola (violin 3), cello and bass (combined), keyboard and simple percussion. Two additional melody part are provided in the treble and bass clefs and the chords (for optional guitar) are shown in both keyboard and cello-bass parts. In the spirit of the original publication, you can add to the melody line any other C-pitch instruments that happen to be available. Even the additional of a couple of recorders will enhance the sound. Alternatively, you can do opposite and create a pleasing contrast by omitting various instruments for certain sections. The audio demo will give you an idea how this might be achieved. The keyboard part is intended as a guide and when possible, the keyboard player should feel free to improvise around the part and the chords shown. A digital or acoustic harpsichord sounds more authentic than a piano. Most electronic keyboards have a harpsichord option. The optional percussion instruments used are similar to those found in elementary school music rooms and usually include a tambour or hand-held drum, antique (finger) cymbals, wood-blocks and tambourine. Two or three players can be used (but feel free to add more) and the parts can be interpreted quite freely. Dance music is intended to be fun, and we hope that this arrangement brings you just that.

Paradise: In A Dream is a song cycle featuring four pieces, each with their own unique character, set to poems by Christina Rossetti. These four pieces are a commentary on life, death, and the curiosity we feel about what may come after death. The first two movements, Let Me Go and Echo are solemn and plaintive reflections about how one may react to the death of a loved one. The third movement, Paradise: In A Dream, evokes euphoria and glory, foreseeing a blissful and eternal afterlife, followed by the peaceful acceptance of mortality in Fluttered Wings, the final movement of the cycle.Save US$1 per score, or US$3 per full set of Paradise: In A Dream when ordering directly from: https://emily-green-choral-music.webnode.com/

Brass Ensemble Bass Trombone,Euphonium,Horn,Piccolo Trumpet,Tuba - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1292240 Composed by Felix Bartholdy Mendelssohn. Arranged by Shinya Ishida. 19th Century. Score and Parts. 19 pages. BitNotes.jp #882854. Published by BitNotes.jp (A0.1292240). The Overture A Midsummer Night's Dream is originally composed by the German composer Felix Mendelssohn, who was inspired by reading William Shakespeare's play A Midsummer Night's Dream. It was initially created as a piano piece for duet, intended for enjoyment with his sister Fanny. Notably, Mendelssohn himself later arranged it for orchestra in 1826 when he was just 17 years old.Fast forward 16 years, this piece took an unconventional path to composition. It was commissioned by King Wilhelm IV of Prussia at the time, and the overture became part of a larger work known as Incidental Music, where it was accompanied by other pieces, apart from the overture. The Overture A Midsummer Night's Dream begins with four chords that evoke a gentle breeze, as if beckoning you into the world of fairies, in line with the folklore that claims that on the eve of Midsummer (Walpurgis Night), fairies and witches gather for revelry. It then transitions into the theme of the fairy's fluttering wings, followed by the music of the Fairy King's palace, the lovers' theme, and passages for clowns and hunting scenes. Finally, it returns to the fairies, dancing and disappearing as if carried away by the wind.We have arranged this enchanting piece for a brass ensemble, featuring ten players (3 trumpets, 3 horns, 3 trombones, and 1 tuba). The 1st Trumpet part includes an optional switch to Piccolo Trumpet, but this is purely optional and not mandatory to perform the arrangement.Additionally, please note that the 3rd Trombone part is intended for the Bass Trombone but can also be performed using Euphonium or Tenor Bass Trombone.
