Bass Trombone - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1392677 By AJR. By Adam Metzger, Jack Metzger, and Ryan Metzger. Arranged by Aaron Hettinga. 21st Century,A Cappella,Comedy,Patriotic,Pop. 11 pages. Aaron Hettinga #976196. Published by Aaron Hettinga (A0.1392677). This fun and exciting song from pop band AJR is arranged here for a trio of 2 Tenor Trombones and Bass Trombone or Tuba but can also be pulled off with any combination of bass clef instruments: Trombones, Baritones/Euphoniums or Bassoons. The form here emulates the beginning of the AJR track with chorus, verse, chorus, then moves ahead to a different sort of trombone jam/playout (beginning at measure 51) which calls out some London-flavored melodies before a restatement of the last phrase of the chorus. The 1st part keeps the melody throughout this arrangement. There are some lower octave cues in the verse that will allow the player to only have to briefly touch on some F's and G's above the staff a few times if they donâ??t have a high B-flat at the ready. The remaining parts shoulder the greater technical challenge but also have some simplified cue notes available if needed.Optionally, if your group prefers not to undertake the brief tempo change (and Rule Britannia! quote) you can optionally skip measures 57 and 58 without slowing, but the chuckle from your audience will surely be worth the extra effort.

Instrumental Duet Clarinet,Instrumental Duet,Trumpet - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.587533 Composed by Jeremiah Clarke. Arranged by David McKeown. Baroque,Concert,Instructional,Standards,Wedding. Score and parts. 3 pages. David McKeown #4355079. Published by David McKeown (A0.587533). The Prince of Denmark’s March is better known nowadays as the Trumpet Voluntary and is often used in wedding ceremonies. It was in fact written for organ, with the melody played on thetrumpet stop.  Written around 1700, for many years this piece was mistakenly attributed to Henry Purcell. Only recently has it been established that the composer was Jeremiah Clarke, organist at St Paul’s Cathedral. It is somewhat ironic that this composer of a wedding mainstay was himself a victim of unrequited love. He consequently shot himself in the cathedral graveyard. This full version is arranged as a duet for Trumpet and Clarinet and the performance time is around two and a half minutes. Of course, performers, especially at weddings, may wish to abridge and shorten the arrangement. This is easily done as the different sections are self-contained and the repeat may be ignored. The complete performance on youtube and the short audio sample are from the Clarinet Duet version of this arrangement. Musicians at an intermediate level and above will find this ideal for formal and informal performances, with both parts enjoying melodic interest. Teachers will enjoy using this arrangement as a fun way to help with strict time, full tone and dynamics. Alexander Wilson #2930827. Published by Alexander Wilson (A0.774965). Everybody's Crazy Over Dixie, by Tin Pan Alley composers Will Donaldson and Rubey Cowan, is a charming upbeat song.  This piece has something for everyone in your quintet.  Both French horn and first trumpet have melody responsibilities in this piece, and the second trumpet and trombone at times play whimsical embroidery around the melody's longer notes.  A Toot Suite Brass Quintet Arrangement for Bb trumpets, horn, trombone, and tuba.  Performance time is approximately 2 minutes 10 seconds.  Visit our website, www.tootsuitebrasspublishing.com, for a catalog of our arrangements available through sheetmusicplus.com.

Large Ensemble Bells,Boomwhackers,Glockenspiel,Handbell,Handchime,Orff Instrument,Ukulele,Voice,Xylophone - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.565444 By Sharon Wilson. By George Frederick Root. Arranged by Sharon Wilson. Children,Folk,Sacred,Standards,Traditional. Score and parts. 12 pages. Sharon Wilson #4357221. Published by Sharon Wilson (A0.565444). This sheet music is notated for 13-note (one octave, C to C chromatic scale) instruments with Handbells on one staff and Boomwhackers® on a second staff creating an instrumental ensemble (requires one set of each instrument). This arrangement includes two verses. The first verse is easy with fewer notes. The second verse is intermediate and expands the melody by adding more notes. If you want to learn (practice) only the easy verse, an optional ending is provided or it can be skipped to perform the two verses together. Included in this set of scores is a combined score with both instrument parts on a grand staff plus a separate score for each instrument. A note and chord chart is also provided to aid in the learning and teaching of this song. Lyrics (by Fanny J. Crosby) are provided as well for sing along enjoyment. Though this sheet music is notated for Handbells and Boomwhackers®, this song is playable by any 13-note, C to C chromatic scale (one octave) instrument such as a xylophone or glockenspiel (though the color coding may not match). This set of scores uses colored noteheads corresponding to the Boomwhackers® color scheme. If you have a set of bells or tubes with a different color scheme, Chroma-Notes Stick Ons can be purchased and applied so the instruments match the Boomwhackers® color scheme. This set of scores is also available (separate purchase) in black and white which will print clearer if you do not have access to a color printer.Only filled noteheads (quarter and eighth notes) are used so the notes are full color and easier to see (this does not indicate the bells need to be silenced immediately before the next beat). Also, only quarter and eighth rests are used to help visualize the number of beats per measure. The number of ringers and whackers needed will vary depending on the skill level of the participants. For more advanced players, each person could be assigned two or three notes. For beginners, it is best to assign one or two notes to each person. Note assignment suggestions are included.Other suggestions and uses: * have both parts played by bells or both parts played using only Boomwhackers® * form a choir using multiple sets of bells and/or Boomwhackers® (this would amplify the sound and allow more people to participate)* use as part of the music education for children at school, home, or church* these colorful, inexpensive instruments can be enjoyed by all ages and add a fun, unique element to activities and programs: senior centers, family reunions, church retreats, home school groups, children’s ministriesThis song is one of the 20 arrangements in the collection Folk Songs for 13-note Bells and Boomwhackers® (with Color Coded Notes), VOL. 2. String Orchestra - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.799741 Composed by Nikolay Andreyevich Rimsky-Korsakov. Arranged by Grant Gilman. 20th Century,Romantic Period. Score and parts. 147 pages. Dr. Grant Gilman #3511981. Published by Dr. Grant Gilman (A0.799741). Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov Scheherazade - I. The Sea and Sinbad’s Ship Pick-A-Part Arrangement  for String Orchestra by Dr. Grant Gilman String Orchestra Parts in This  Pick-A-Part Arrangement Violin 1A Violin 1B Violin 1C Violin 2A Violin 2B Violin 2C Viola A Viola B Viola C Cello A Cello B Cello C Bass A Bass B Bass C Harp/Keyboard (optional)About Pick-A-Part Arrangement This arrangement system employs simultaneous, multi-level difficulty parts for each string section. The goal is to accommodate all levels of playing in the preparation and performance of a symphonic masterwork. In this arrangement, there are 3 difficulty levels for each individual string section, labeled A, B, and C, respectively. Each level is a decreasing level of technical and musical difficulty, level A being the highest level of difficulty. The A level is close to, if not exactly the same as, the original string part, plus the integration of wind parts when applicable. B and C follow in a proportional reduction of difficulty level.  For this solution to be most effective, some students should be encouraged to play the most challenging parts simultaneously with those playing the simpler parts. This presents the opportunity to participate in a performance that includes most of the original material. The B and C parts cover enough of the surface material while maintaining a modicum of independence from the A part. In other words, the B and C parts are able to hold their own in performance without the A parts. For example, let’s say you have a couple of talented violinists and a few more that are well below their playing level, only two violists that need a great deal of help, a plethora of cellists with a wide range of abilities, and one single bass player that is a beginner. Your distribution of parts may look something like this: Violin 1 - two on Violin 1A, one on Violin 1C, and the rest on Violin 1B Violin 2 - one on Violin 2B, the rest on Violin 2C Viola - both on Viola C Cello - three on Cello A, one on Cello B, and the rest on Cello C Bass - one on Bass C This potential setup will challenge each player at their current level of development while creating the context for a moving experience with a major orchestral work.  A Note about the Score and Printing The full score is designed to be printed in portrait orientation on 17x11 tabloid size paper. Even at this size, the score can be confusing to read, especially if you are not covering every difficulty level part. If you would like a custom score showing only the parts you are using, please email me: conductor@grantgilman.com. I will be happy to work with you!www.grantgilman.comwww.americanmusepodcast.com
